Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Any HiBrix growers grown super lemon haze from greenhouse seeds?

Yes I did, I had a perfect run before my patch got busted.

Me too! I've never seen a bad SLH run - great genetics! I have a well-cured bud in NOTM this month if you want to see some examples of the produce. You won't be disappointed if you grow it.

Uruguay is gorgeous.

I saw an attractive 5 hectare farmstead with a 3/2 house about an hour inland for $200,000USD ... :hmmmm: :cheesygrinsmiley:

I spent a lot of time looking at southern Chile for retirement. Uruguay seems very similar - good people, civil society, prosperity and peace ...

It's alive! :straightface::morenutes::rofl:

The biota are workin hard, crackin' rocks, havin' a high ol' time. :party: I jus' Love that first whiff of air when you lift the lid - it's like it exhales atcha :love:

Well, he has condensation on the lid, so the humidity is good. Sometimes pics don't show the right color.

But yes, wetter is usually better when the soil is first cooking. Not soggy. Just wetter than we would think. My gauge is whether it leaves a film on my hand. Nice moist soil can be brushed right off. Wetter soil leaves a film behind.

It is darker than the picture shows.
Heres a little better angle.

Still looks a little on the dry side to these eyes, but photos lie. :thumb:

Even if the pic is accurate, the computer monitor may not reflect it correctly and even the angle you look at the monitor can change the appearance of the color.
:Namaste:

Well, with the condensation you have on the bin/lid means things are alive. Dig your hand in and grab a good handful and squeeze it. It should compact and hold together mostly, and mostly wipe away when you wipe your hands off. It should feel moist (I don't know why people hate that word btw), but not dribble water.

Bottom line, I think you're fine. :cool:

Evening everyone, hope ya's are havin a great night. I'm just throwin a little reminder out there to anyone with fresh produce curing ...to be extra careful , we've had a lot of hot , humid weather this summer . There has been a couple members discover mold , so be aware everyone....i've been checking mine daily...just havin a good look is all, just to be sure.
Cheers gang!:circle-of-love::thumb:

Ok, I think we should be good. I added a half gallon ro to each tub. After turning it its pretty moist. It dont all brush off hands and wrists like it did straight from the bale. When I first put the soil together I added 2 gallons to be each of the 2 tubs. I think its good now. Thanks all.
