Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Cat has Transplant in it.. :)

hmmmm. then maybe I should try it again, :morenutes:muaw ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. JK

maybe thats why they are so fragrant today. different from their normal smell.

I have been going per instructions the last two grows and from what I have been reading lately I'm on the lighter end of things. rule used to be 1/2oz and now it's 1/2 to 1 1/2. I had been using between 7 and 10ml depending on the shakiness of my hand.

so todays feeding of GE I went with 15ml for 3 plants.which would be like 1oz for 6. In the middle rather than low.

They seem to be fading in color a bit, but I think its normal fading not from deficiency. 6+ weeks

I was getting a bit of the white tips also. and a few brittle leaves.

upped the LED's about 4 inches. seems to have stopped.

It sounds to me like you're working it out HashHound. Better too low than too high IMO, within reason. You don't want to starve them obviously, so it's good you decided to feed that hungry soil. Your learning curve is definitely improved.

yes..next watering..add 5-6 ml and same tea to feed ...that's what you can do each time..use 5-6 ml per 7 gal pot...

I have never grown an auto.....Ziggy, on the other hand, has explored the limits of both light deprivation AND nutrient toxicity with his brood. He's your guy~!

5-6 mil... Getting Ziggy with it. Okie doky...I figured I was being too nice...

Hey mmm.....I believe ziggs finger stuck to the "a"..........I think he meant some tea, not "same tea"......I just got done with one in a 7 gallon, and gave it 5-7 ml drench like ziggs and bout an ml of tea with it.....:passitleft:

Just getting the information out there for anyone who may want to dunk their one gallon vegging containers in smaller buckets to conserve product:

As far as I know the big name home improvement stores also have two and three and half gallon buckets. If there aren't any in the store, you can find them on-line.

Thanks for the words.
Fine perlite.... I'm using the MG bagged stuff. It's quite fine. Flows out my hole a bit during watering. I've been very happy that MG has quit putting those little balls in it. Sure sucked trying to get rid of those little buggers.
Bucket temps could be an issue. I suspect they'll float around 70f during the winter. This reflects my general grow room temps in winter. When the spring kicks in, I'll be seeing 80+. That's my cutoff generally and starts my non-flowering season. I can't run all the lights and deal with the ambient heat at the same time, so I generally just keep mother plants alive during the summer heat.
Any words as to the impact of higher temps in the osmo buckets? Rot is generally a threat, but I can't see much difference betwixt the osmo and normal buckets in that area. Removing verm has been my answer to that challenge so far. Hmmmm... higher temps might break down the osmo faster.
