Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Some times a plant will start to bud if they start to get less light intesity than they had been getting. The quantum boards are usually more intense than blurples though so idk. I have not heard of the Lani having any auto traits, so it is odd.

I didnt know tht so then maybe its cause the qb i had her under was only the 150w an she was next 2 another one. An the blurple i had her under b4 was a 600w but shared with a few plants so maybe thts sumthn idk. But thanx for that piece of info ill have to remember that cor future grows.

I have a plant that started to flower in veg last round, took a clone from the least affected branch that had least amount of calyxs and then it has started to veg out normal again

Hmm maybe that will work for me. Altho i jus threw her back under the blurple in hopes she will start to reveg again but if not ill prolly toss her an start a new bean cause i dont wana waste a hole plant slot in my tent for sumthn tht looks like it wont even produce an ounce come harvest lmao. Plus i got a bunch of new genetics i wana try it will jus suck cause the lannie was the one i was most excited to try an my first bean didnt make it an now this one my last one is freaking flowering out on me way to soon. So it will suck to lose it but its kinda ok since i got others 2 try lol.

Ok so i did a rescue drench of these 2 girls and did like doc suggested an trimmed all but the top 3 or 4 nodes. Now my Alaskan Purple is still lookn like she is havn problems. But my Critical Purple Kush is starting to look way better now. Her leaves are starting to darken up some. I mean sure she still has a few leaves with alil lightness around the edges but all in all she is doing WAY better nw.

So up first we got my C.P.K lookn better each day :headbanger: :morenutes:.

Then here we got my Alaskan Purple still having issues with the leaves burning up an going crispy on me. So if any1 has any pointers or can direct me on how to fix this i would greatly appreciate it. An thanx guys for all the help every1 has given me since coming here. Ive said it b4 an ill say it again if it wasnt for peeps like @Duggan @weenmeoff @Tead @Coloradokid19 @Doc Bud an many others that i didnt mention thank u guys so much. This place is like my home away from home hahaha. But yea hope every1 is has a great day 2day an may ur gardens stay fresh an full lol.

I was referring to the small plants that were just up potted. I’m no expert on diagnosing. Sound like you have a grip on the finer details, and like Doc said very interesting problem, might be a pathogen.

Mike definitely knows how to grow and use the products. His problem is very interesting to say the least.

As said above, I'd toss all the dirt under the hot summer sun and start fresh, with totally decontaminated soil bins and pots.

Are you sure you pruned all the little stuff off? Count down 4 nodes from the top and pruned off everything below, especially the "sucker" branches that come off the main stems.

The new growth on the Alaskan looks good, so I think you'll recover just fine.

You don't have much light intensity, so the plant is going to digest those shaded leaves every time.
A good rule for pruning that I have talked about many times....vid's on the website....it to prune in such a way that you can look down from above and see dirt.

Doc, BJ, your last two plants/pics look Exactly like the issue I’m dealing with. Dark brown spots splattered across the leaf, slight yellowing of the leaf, etc.

Doc, what are the odds BJ and I have the same soil pathegon? Water quality?

Jumped ahead again. I'm way back on page 31. So this kit is an all organic grow?

In the political sense.....no. I have not paid the extra 1000 per label per year to register the products as "organic."

In the real sense, IE are these products natural and safe. Yes. This is organic.

Keep in mind that Calcium Nitrate, Ammonium Phosphate, Ammonium Sulfate, and Calcium Sulfate are all naturally occuring organic compounds. Don't be thrown off by the fancy chemical names! These "chemicals" naturally occur when chickens poop, and cows pee on rocks.....

IF....it's a pathogen the common factors are the kit, the Promix and potentially the EWC.

It's impossible for the dry material in the kit to grow a pathogen. Ditto the liquids, as they'd foam up and break the bottles if something were growing in them.

The Promix? I dunno. Most likely not.

But pathogens are everywhere.....like TMV.

However, I don't think your problems are the same at all. This is just what leaves that don't get enough light and un-pruned plants too big for their containers look like when over-watered and under fed. Your situation is different.

Been a while since I posted my gals in here. Sorry, no sexy flower pics, just some nice healthy girls in veg and a couple autos in the same tent. My 2 A5s needed a drink yesterday so the got GE and boy did they love it!

Edit to say, the Diesel is kinda sexy. Not sure about the BBs, well if you like em short and stout!

Thanks doc for the explanation. My first batch is cooking and I can't wait to start using it. Of course you'll be hearing from me a lot once I start my first run. Until then I'm going back to page 34 and enjoying all I'm learning and loving those pictures of those beautiful plants. Hoping that some day my plants will look like yours. Have a great day. JKB

Ok an yea i trimed all but the top 4 nodes one or two branches have like 5 but tht was cause they looked gud still dark green leaves no burn or nuthn so left them but here she is now. This is my Alaskan Purple. An she is under the 480w QB light.

Oh an i think u are thinking of my Critical Purple Kush she is the one lookn gud lol. I jus hope she stays tht way hahaha.

There are still a few "suckers" on that Alaskan, but I think it will be OK. Double the strength of your drenches and make sure your environment is on point.

Jumping ahead again. So I need to know does doc buds high brix formula not work well with indica plants? I've got the new from Humboldt, white widow, alaskan purple from seedsman, crown royale from crop king. And a couple of clones one is strawberry kush and other unknown. Are they going to grow sub and I get sub par results only because they are indica?

K well at lights out it dropped down to 68°f amd 37% but tht was cuz my humidifier went empty but i filled it an now its at 45%. An now with lights on its 72°f and 44% so ill close up the tent to get it alil warmer an hold in the rh%. An im sure tht will jump it up some to. An ok ill double the strength of the drenches. Now does tht include doubling the tea as well? I normally do 15ml drench per gallon of water and half capful of the tea (its the small bottle) for every 2gallons of water.

Hay Doc I am really working on getting my environment in order. With the way my tent is set up and with the Mars lights I have I cant move my drivers out of the tent but I just ordered another @Budget LED light 350watt to go along with my other 350watt I can move those drivers out of the tent which will fix my high temps I also got a Much bigger humidifier to get my RH up and keep it there. Thanks for the advice Oh yeah I also just ordered some of the Bigger bottles of the main stuff we use. I still need to order more First rum amendments and a couple other thing but I will be set soon on all the products in the kit.
