Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Impressive THC numbers! Especially for Panama - it must be a little dangerous to smoke! :cheesygrinsmiley: It has that persistent dreaminess anyway ... :lot-o-toke:

Got my test results back from the last grow: Elev8's Harlequin CBD, Ace's Panama and Purple Satellite. I've attached them for whomever is interested.

Here's a quick synopsis of the results:

Harlequin CBD:: THC: 0.053% - CBD: 12.893% - TERPS: 5.5mg/g
Panama:: THC: 24.581% - CBD: 0.0% - TERPS: 11.1mg/g
Purple Satellite:: THC: 20.736% - CBD: 0.0% - TERPS: 10.7mg/g

The Panama at 24.581% THC is the highest I've ever achieved. This is a testimony to both the quality of the genetics and Doc's High Brix Method.

They're still curing, so I've only tested them. I'll get back with a smoke report later. I will say, the Panama and the Purple Satellite are defiantly Sativas!

Awesome work. The terp numbers are silly......no one gets numbers like that apart from High Brix. No one.....

Thanks Brotha Dopy! I’m hoping to have a better series of application of Doc’s products just as you have been doing.

Way to go bud your garden and ladies always look so good! You definitely have a feel as to what they want and when! Cheers bud :ganjamon:

Thanks for the share MMM great numbers for sure :high-five:

I am loving the discussion and knowledge being dropped on the topping!

I didn’t know about the 5-7 bladed leaflets below and above theory. Thanks for sharing that tidbit Doc :adore:

And I agree with Magoo on the OKG ones their leaf blades always look messed up and the plants do fine. Maybe this strain could be an exception or get some leeway from the 5/7 blade above and below rule:hmmmm:

Enjoy the day gang :ganjamon: I’m about to harvest some Maui’s solo Just call me Edward Scissor Hands:rofl:

Nice looking bubble hash Farmer:high-five:

make sure to dry it out really good in cold temps. Garage works best for me. This time of year it’s in the 40-50s and with any luck RH is around 35-40%. Set them on cardboard and chop the patties up with a credit card or something like that. The finer the better. The place parchment paper to cover and more cardboard on top. Should be bone dry in a day or two.

Store in glass from here out in a cold spot or freezer even. If u ever want to try to press the then freeze dried bubble hash into old world middle eastern hashish PM me for a guide I use. It’s really nice way to finish the resin into a final product.

Cheers bud:ganjamon:

Congrats Wrenn!

Are you all buying Docs products on the zon? Are you writing reviews? If not, please do so. All you need to do is go to your orders, click the product and then click write a review and you can do it for each individual product. I've done copy/paste with slight changes to each. It's the least we can do for Doc after all he does for us!:green_heart:

Here is one of my reviews: Ridiculously fast shipping! Are you considering purchasing and using Doc Buds "Kit?" Do it! You Will not be disappointed! I am a kit grower for life! The Kit makes is extremely easy to grow the best quality organic produce possible. No need to constantly check ph and you can toss your PPM pen. The nature of this growing system makes your plants highly resistant to pests, never had them myself in 4 years of using the kit. It's also very affordable compared to other nutrient systems out there. I've seen so many 1st time kit users grow amazing plants, it's that easy! The produce is so smooth!

Hey brixers, just got done with some 3rd run soil and need to get some 4th run going just forgot if I need to cook it at all after I cut it with some fresh promix or coco, or do can I mix it up and go ahead and use it right away?

Hi Gang, Happy Hump Day!

I've got a couple question for those who want to discuss and I'll drop my main question first to save time.

My main question is - when does it get to the point of too much watering? (with the assumption that your plants needs water before it's wilting. )

Reason for this question - It seems my plants need more frequent watering and i do not want to over water them. When i was checking on the plants after work, they were wilting and needed a drink. It has happened three times so far and it seems just about every four days, the plants needs a drink. Honestly i do not mind it as i came from hydro / coco grows. I'm thinking my plants would benefit more frequent watering compared to once a week like my previous run. I would like to continue another week or two of veg however if they are root bound.... they would need a bigger potting. I'm doubting they are root bound and just happen to be really thirsty over the past week. I've been wrong before lol just want to make sure that i dont regret it later in flower. Feel free to check out the plants in my second journal, I'll post new updated pics soon this weekend.

I see a few options:
Should my plants go into larger potting from their current 15gal pots? (I really do not want to buy 25-30 gals lol, if i have to then so be it.)
Should I start flowering now?
Stick with it, go another week or two then flip em. ?

Last question: How often do some of your plants need water? once a week? twice? three time? more?

Thank you, have a great hump day!

Hey Fingerz. In veg, you want to let the pot completely dry out before the next watering/feed. I know you know that. So the answer to how often we water differs. Itasca little harder to gauge when big pots are dry by lifting but you can do it. How long have they been in the 15s? Let's see the updated pics. Do you think they're ready to flip?
