Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Ya, that style is widely used. There are a few makers with the same appearance. Main thing is to calibrate it properly before use ...and to learn how to properly read it. It's not cut and dry...there is NO line , since it works on refracted light...it's kind of like those bi focal glasses with that newer style fade in and fade out region. cheers.

Rescue Drench

If the plants seem weak and need a boost---almost never happens unless you made a mistake or there has been some environmental issue or circumstances beyond your control---try this:

1 oz. Transplant per gallon of water with 6 mils of Tea. Feed a solution with this composition to all the plants. It will re-colonize the roots and get things back on track. Do not do this if you aren't having any problems.

:Namaste:

I will be doing that tonight hopefully!

So I have a question. I have run the kit for quite some time but this is my first time running third run soil. Do we still use recharge during flower with it? I thought I had read some where that we do not but I cannot recall where. I read through the last set of instructions in the "In the Lab" thread but it doesn't specifically say.

Nope! Just answered in your thread:

After your second grow
After the second crop is harvested, we take that same used soil and this time we add a bag of 3rd Run Amendment, and a light dusting of Roots! perhaps some healthy leaf scraps. Let this cook for a month and then use as normally directed. Please note: a 3rd run "Recharge" is not needed nor is it recommended. Reduce use of foliar sprays to every 2 weeks for the 3rd Run.

Hi fellow brixers :)

A question about frequency of drenches. I have a white widow that is about 5 days into flower. Its outside in a 13.5gal pot.

The other day I gave a full Growth Ionic drench and watered till run off, leaving what was in the tray to soak up. About 36 hours later it was fully dry and it continues to dry out really fast. Obviously its drinking fast - but the heat is helping as well.

How often can I give alternating drenches? Is it too much to give Drench - Water(w 1/4 trans) - Drench etc. every 36 hours?

Also @Duggan - you said DOc is away for a while. Do you know when he is back? I have a question or 2 about the raised bed drenching schedule he sent me :hmmmm:.

Is there anyone else here who has experience growing in an amended raised bed outdoors? (I’m not having problems, just have some questions).

:Namaste:
