Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Took me a couple weeks but I finally read through this whole 6 year old thread. So much good info, hopefully I can retain some if it lol.

Got 2 more long weeks before my HB soil is done cooking, then my 1st ever grow can begin.

Super excited to be part of this awesome community :D

Ya, I'll have the environment dialed in before the soils ready. Pretty sure I heard Doc talk about the environment once lol. First strain is gonna be Star Pupil. I plan on running that a few times til I get the hang of it.

UPdate,

All genetics were saved, Paki, Ape, Hazelnut, YOLO and Clementine.

I'm waiting for clones to root, but the plants now look "normal."

Lesson learned: DO NOT US A DARK PERIOD PRIOR TO BLOOM! I did this by mistake, having unplugged a power cord when decommissioning the warehouse. They were vegging in the dark for 2 days and were totally destroyed when the lights came back on. Don't do this to your blooming plants, folks. At best you won't see any damage, but I know that this is not a good practice. The plants were totally unable to deal with the amount of light I use.

The new grow room is coming along....framing done. Electrical is getting scheduled, then insulation, then testing, then growing! This is the first time in over 10 years I don't have plants blooming.......feels like I'm at school with no clothes on.....

Wow glad you were able to save those, you have some special genetics there it would of sucked to loose any of them. Can't wait to see your new setup, im in the middle of a new grow room build too, hopefully it will be getting wrapped up within the next week.

New kit instruction sheets etc look great too and it was awesome to find your gear on the Zon! :passitleft:

You'll knock the first grow right out of the stadium if you follow directions and have your environment in check. It's hard to miss....given the above.

WELCOME!

I am always blown away by what people are able to do with this gear.

I see "professional" grows all the time and our High Brix gear kicks ass.

LOL, the "click to expand" pic that appears above this message shows just the smoke rising......

That's the plan Doc!

Hey guys sorry but got another newb question. Now I know it says in docs pamphlet that comes with the kit that to do a rescue drench is 1oz trans per gal. Of water along with 6ml of tea. So what I was wondering was does that mean 6 ml of tea per gal. Of water or jus do 6ml of tea period?
