I had a healthy!!?? infestation on one plant that was kinda stuck at the back of my room...with leaves like this...

I carefully removed and disposed of them, then took the plant outside turned it upside down and sprayed the fook out of it...got things pretty much under control...not eradicated, but I was real close to harvest,so that it was manageable...If I was further out, I would have treated with soapy water or neem, hitting both leaves and soil surface...pretty sure they probably came in with me from infested tomato plants in my greenhouse next door to the grow shed...cheerz...h00k......

Also has any1 else noticed any xtra side plants pop up in there soil? I got these weird little plants popping up with my gorilla glue#4 lol and one is turning purple jus wondering what it is.

Hey Blaze! More info will be helpful, what ratio of leaf wash to water, temps/rh, when did you apply in relation to lights on, how close are the lights, did you shake the excess off? There don't seem to be that many affected leaves and the rest look good so it's probably no biggy. I've had little plants pop up like that before, though it was MJ at first, ha! I'd pull them out of there.

The leaves on your small plants look like the young leaves of pepper plants. I’ve grown a couple of those.

I followed the directons on the bottle an yes I shaked the plants off n I did it when lights where on but turned off the ones right above the plants.

I got damage like that when I dipped my plants in Leaf Wash.

When merely spraying according to directions, no damage at all occurs.

It appears you mixed it too strong and then proceeded to clog up the stomata!

The way to "fix" this is to mix up 1/4 ounce Tea per quart of water. Cover the entire plant to where it's dripping. This will help "unclog" the stomata.

Again, this damage is IMPOSSIBLE if the product is used properly. Even using triple strength won't do this.

Ok thanx maybe the syringe I'm using is off of its measurements or sumthn or maybe I read it wrong or sumthn idk but I swore I followed the directons on the bottle but guess not lol. So ok I'll be soaking them down with the 1/4 oz tea per quart of water 2nite an see if they dnt perk up a bit. An then 2morow is time for there next drench so hopefully things will be back in order lol.

Ok so I gave my 4 clones and 1 photo seedling the growth drench an gave my gorilla glue#4 auto seedling her first trans drench an then gave all the girls that 1/4 oz tea spray mix and shut the lights off for a bit to let them fully dry off. An so far things are looking great all tho it's still early lol.

my kit from doc arrived and i got it all mixed up and was doing another reading of the guide when I noticed something. I didn't get my bag of recharge. Either it wasn't in the kit, or the unmarked bag which looked identical to the 1st run amendment was actually recharge. I saw no label in the bag so i presummed it was just the 1st run amendment bag split into two separate bags for weight/volume purposes.

so my questions is this, if that was actually my bag of recharge and not the second half of my 1st run amendment, how fucked am i? My soil now has "2 bags" of minerals and rocks. did i just throw off the balance in my fresh soil?

I figured as much.... Everything was labeled besides that second bag, my thought process seems totally normal..


I guess I'll have to wait to hear from doc. Hoping this didnt totally throw my soils balance out of wack.... As long as the ratios were the same it should be ok?

There was likely a card in that second bag that told you it was the Recharge. I've seen the cards settle in the dry ingredient bags. The card is probably sitting in one of the two containers you dumped the contents into, which has happened to me before, but I didn't mix the ingredients together.

I am NOT giving advice but suspect an easy correction will be to add another bail of Pro Mix.
Dont think its a total loss you may just end up with a double amount.

I checked my bin of soil. Not paper tag. I got a paper tag in my roots bag and my 1st run bag.
Bummed...

Edit: I even sprinkled the 1st amendment bag(“s”) by hand in attempts to even it out on top of mixing.

See that’s the thing. I’ve been reading non stop about the kit for weeks. Reveiving the kit I must have gotten over confident.

Yup,...your definitely going to love the whole 'kit' thing. Don't fret about your soil, Doc is likely gonna set you straight , real fast. Like you refereed to,...his customer service is the best i've seen....ever. I think it's because he has a passion for what he/we do and thrives on our success. And there has been plenty of that.
