Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

I'm just joking with ya too. We've been getting our ass kicked by the Packers for so long it's expected now. So when we finally sneak one out we gotta let everyone know it.

Hahaha i know every time I have Pack gear on I get it from the Lions fans  So I’m used to the abuse =].

Yeah I almost couldn’t believe GB sucked so badly. Crosby was horrendous. *facepalm*.

This is not a complaint!!!

I've been growing for a while now and have probably harvested something like 300 plants since I started and I have NEVER seen colors like these! :thumb:

Pics don't even do justice since I had to turn lights out & use flash!

Even my little Blackwater that got thrown in at the last minute just to take up some extra space is getting in the the HB action!

I just wish I could take some of the credit, but I haven't been doing much!

Yeah the spotted leaves have tiny moving bugs.
Came from two plants my friend gave me. Just threw them in garbage.
They transferred someehat to my veg plants. Cut all the leaves off with spots from all plants in the small cabinet. All with spots had visible bugs moving on the spotted leaves.
Then sprayed them with neem oil and water mixture and put them all back. Going to monitor them for a while before any more go to bloom cabinets as they do not seem to be in there and i cant neem oil buds.
At least the bugs make tiny spots when they feed that are not too hard to see.
If no more leaves with spots show up then maybe got lucky.

Swept up all leaves and plants and bagged it and put outside.

I had this very same issue an im actually still tryn to get rid of these spidermites b4 i flip my blue cheese and master kush to flower. On a side mote finally got my high brix journal up an going its in my sig if any1 wants to swing by an offfer support otherwise i can jus pop in here from time time if i gotta question lol. Also thanx guys for directing me to the darkascotia journal im definitely guna be sifting threw tht one 4 sure.

Welcome to High Brix gardening. We exploit cheap labor. We reap the benefits as they work themselves to death....but they don't seem to mind as they would die faster without the nice soil to play in.

Colors, terps, flavors, effect.....you're going to enjoy new things soon. High Brix really works!

Yeah, Baby! :yahoo:

I've been "sold" on the kit and recommending it to others for over a year now (if you remember, I purchased the kit about a year ago, then had to take down the grow due to construction in the house).

That being said, experiencing it truly is a whole other thing and seeing the way the plants respond is quite impressive! :thumb:

HB tends to sound complicated, I think, to many who have never tried it, because it's so different than many other styles of growing. Truth is, it's about the easiest, least labor-intensive, and lowest cost method next to just tossing some seeds in the forest and coming back in three months to check on them. Then again, I can't imagine anyone would get anywhere near HB quality just tossing some seeds in the forest, either!

Great work, Doc! :thanks:

Looks like some serious resin, even more than I remember.

Damn nice! :drool::drool::drool:

Wonder what % coco the mix is...

I’d imagine the coco in the soil will allow it to drain slightly better and potentially allow for a slightly higher yeild. Also it might allow for a few more waterings over the grow which could give us the growers more of a chance to “tinker” with the feeding schedule if need be.

Every strain, plant and environment will be different and could use a custom schedule to fully push each plant to its maximum potential.

Also wondering if your just using HPCC by Promix or just adding in some Coco when cooking with the regular HP.

Keep it up Doc. Lovely looking plants as always. :adore:

It's Neikos mix......1/3 prewashed canna coco in PM HP Myco. Don't get all excited just yet....I'm working with it to figure it out and understand why it works. It's possible we might do nothing....or we could formulate a "coco" amendment. Still working with it.

Sorry Doc, it’s the Lemon Paki’s fault :smokin2:
That stuff gets me every time :ganjamon: don’t worry I’ll clean up my drool puddles. Someone hand me a a mop!

@ Neiko, what differences have you noticed with the 1/3 Coco vs the standard HP if any?

Docs lights are much powerful!!! :bong:

I've mainly noticed increased terpenes. When I was doing both I'd give people the same strain grown both ways and not tell them which was which and they always picked the coco mix. I wouldn't say it's a night and day difference but it just seems to add a little something to the final product. I'm glad Doc is taking the time to do this.

Neikodog you know this group, any way to tweak more outta these plants and we're all ears.......:peace:
I hear ya, I just didn't want a bunch of people unfamiliar with the kit start to have problems and blast Doc with a bunch of "what's wrong with my plants" questions. I'm really glad he decided to do this on his prized strain.

Cool thanks Neiko

Checked my plants again last night. This time only pulled about 20 slightly spotter leaves with 1-2 bugs on each from all the veg plants and sprayed them a third time with neem oil. Seems to be getting slowly better. I am hoping I can eliminate them before flipping them to bloom hopefully within a week or two. If not will look into ordering predatory insects...
