Mr krip, I have been growing hydroponically in pure coco for like 2-3 years and just recently started growing with super soil, and like you I have nothing to do. But unlike you, I'm not complaining !! And no expensive nutrients to go waste my $$ on. And i do have enough nutrients, that i'm forced to do one more coco grow. I do miss the rapid growth, growing in coco, but I'm seeing a better quality product with the organic route. Instead of vegging 6 weeks in coco, I now veg like 8-9 weeks in soil. But if the bottom line is better quality, then I'm in.
ok guys just wanted to ask since im bout to start my hi brix adventure an mix some soil an i noticed tht the bag says its only 3 cubic feet but its saying it will expand up to 6 cu ft so im wondering is it meaning i really have 6 cubic feet of soil? and online at docs site it says i only need like 3.3 cubic feet so how wud i measure it out this is the sunshine #4 i got
It's 3' cu
So wud i then use the whole thing even tho it expands?
Yep!
You should get 45-50 gallons after you're done mixing. Doc recommends 7 gallon pots or larger.
Ok thanx i got some 10 gal cloth pots for jus this situation lol. So what about when i start out shud i just start seeds and clone in the 10 gal cloth pots or should i start out in small 1/2 gal pots an upsize as they get older like my normal grows?
That made my skin crawl.some aphids on my white widow a few weeks ago...maybe you could reference using a loupe...cheerz...h00k......
...
Neiko what % mix are you using for coco with the Kit? Was it any better or worse than without if you have tried both?
I used to grow with Promix HPCC and really liked it. Yeild wise it was nice being able to get 3-6+ Oz per autoflower in a 3Gal Fabric Pot. Ive Got my kit cooking for the last few days. Wonder what differences I would have to do if any when using 20% coco vs the standard HP.
Amen , Doc , Amen.
Whoa sorry to hear about the aphids! Hook that looks awful!
