Just the LA Confidential, and in another week after flushing. Still at least a couple more weeks for 24K Gold. I might chop the 2 24K plants at different times to compare the buzz.

Another update as we inch closer to the finish line! We're at 54F. LA1 and LA2 have had 4 nights of plain water and will be ready to harvest any time next week. 24K1 and 24K2 are still a little way off, although I plan to take them a little earlier than the LAs.
Here's the status of the ladies:
LA1's calyxes seem to have bulged considerably in the last couple of days. The buds didn't stack up nicely except on the main cola, but they look like nice little buds all the same.
LA2 never put on the same weight although I can see things fattening up as well, for what that's worth. The buds here will be small and the overall yield not great but it looks like good weed all the same.
24K1 and 24K2 are both looking really nice as we head to the finish line, but aren't quite ready to start flushing yet. They took some nute burn last weekend but otherwise are doing great.

And finally, the veg tent! Can't wait to get these ladies into the flower tent. LA2 and Kushy Kush are ready as soon as the LAs come out, with Chocolope following when the 24Ks come out. Not sure what the plan will be for the 24K2 reveg - other than to top them and try to come up with some reasonable shape!

Looking good my man. I see your veg tent is full. I was going to reveg the one strawberry amnesia, but I've thought better of it. I need to focus on my dnets and getting the veg tent more organised.

Thanks Blaze! Veg tent is full and bursting at the seams. LA2 and KK need to come out ASAP, whereas Chocolope is fine with a little more time waiting on the 24Ks. No idea what I'm going to do with the 4 reveg 24K2s. Just wanted to make sure I kept the best of my plants from round 1.

I'm dying to pull a little sample off of the plants to try. I'm surprised I've been as patient as I have really.
The LA Confidentials could come down today if the flush was done I think. Almost all hairs are amber, even on lower buds. Amber trichomes are visible every time you focus the lens and everything is at a minimum milky.
I have 3 more nights of plain water before they will have had a week. Could definitely see at least 1 - LA1 perhaps - coming Tuesday and the other coming Wednesday. I'll keep an eye on final fattening and make the call in a few days.
What would you guys recommend for making the call on the 24Ks? I want a balanced high if possible, so I think I'll start flushing earlier, but should I start flushing when everything is looking milky? They're still a mix of glassy and milky at this point.

IMO, subjectively of course, if you want a good balance from a strain, I think I'd shoot for 25%clear/50%milk/25% amber as a finishing point. I believe that ripening continues briefly at a somewhat accelerated rate immediately after chop. Tricky call, but comes in time. Easy to tell if it's early or late, but right on point?. I'm not quite there yet, but patience, notes, and experience. Right?

I might try that, it's not like I have anything to lose and at this point anyway there's still tons of green to support flushing on the 24Ks. If nothing else I can compare and contrast effects and learn a lot.
My last harvest took 14 days to dry in the fridge, it seems to keep a lot more terpenes than other methods. Ill be doing the low and slow on all my buds from here on out. .

Awesome. Any tips on the method? What's the ideal fridge temperature? What did you put the flowers into before you put them on the fridge - trays? My bar fridge has very little in it, and I could easily clear it completely.

Saw the post in your own thread PW - I'll get paper bags and swap them daily for the first few days.
My fridge was around 38-40f with 25% rh most of the time. The cold retards the drying process but you need to open the fridge at least once a day to "burp" it. I think you'll like the finished product.

Flower tent just got crowded! 1F for Kushy Kush and LA2 Clone, after 54 days in veg to form bushy beasts! Kushy Kush is in front, LA Confidential in the back.
Kushy Kush enters the flower tent as an 18" tall menorah shaped uniform bush, with the canopy filled with 2 strong tops every 180 degrees, forming 9 in total in an x shape with the central top in the middle. The branches are very uniform in spite of the time spent cramped in corners in the last week. She was really fun to watch grow in veg. I had no expectations and she kept throwing out very uniform growth in mid veg, giving her really powerful branches that I'm hoping will grow nice tops. I'm very happy with where she is heading into flower.
LA Confidential 2 was mature since birth, as a clone taken when I flipped LA2 originally. She was a slow starter in her solo cup but burst to life in a 1 gallon pot. She's been growing mature limbs every which way since. She has a ton of tops and unlike Kushy Kush, has tops that started on branches, and not on the main stem, that hit the canopy. The canopy on LA2 is a massive 21" from the surface of the soil. She's a really big bush and I'm excited to see how she turns out relative to the LA2 I'm about to chop. I have a feeling she's going to blow that plant away. I've put twice the nutes through her, easily, that I ran through my current LA2 when she was in veg, and she's taken them like an absolute champ, never showing any sign of anything other than happiness. So I'm pumped to take her into flower and see how much I can improve on run 1. That said, this will be the end of the line for her - I'll be running Violator Kush in her place next, and I'll grow her from seed next time.
I'm going to defoliate significantly less than LA2 got in run 1 and more gradually, and I believe the maturity of the plants going into the flower tent and my careful management and understanding of the light distance and lack of latent nutrient issues will limit stretch relative to run 1. The lack of defoliation shock and no week 3 absence without feeding - both big limitations in run 1 - should also mean I don't slow growth down at a crucial time. I'm hoping I've learned my lessons and can reap the benefits. I'd love to get fatter, healthy buds without nute burn or deficiencies, and with the purple I saw develop in this run.
I'm really excited to take these ladies into flower! I haven't decided yet what'll happen next in terms of a journal - this one will end when 24K is cured and reported upon, so I'll keep updating here until at least then. I'm not committed yet to running a perpetual journal as it's a lot of work to keep these updated. Perhaps I'll do one and keep the big photo updates to weekends, and be more selective about what I shoot and document. We'll see, I have a month plus to decide.

Yup I agree! I still need to start my second journal, the first post alone will have over 100 pictures at this point. Hopefully there isn't a limit to pictures per post!

I most definitely needed Chocolope to get room to stretch her legs for the next couple of weeks and get set up nicely for flower. She's been in too small a space for too long.
With LA2 and KK in flower I'm at most 10 weeks from 2 2x2 spots opening in the flower tent. The other half of the tent is earmarked for Chocolope which I'm expecting to run 11ish weeks. If she goes into the tent in 2 weeks and needs about 80 days to flower, I'm looking at 70ish days before one 4x2 space opens (the KK/LA2 space) and 95ish days before the other 4x2 opens. (Chocolope's space). So I have some time before making a decision.
I'm thinking what I might do is start 2 seeds in about 2 weeks to take the KK/LA2 space, and start another 2 seeds in about 6 weeks to take Chocolope's space. I think the best candidates for those upcoming spots are 24K2 clones, Candida, Violator Kush, and Royal Gorilla. The freebies can wait. Candida's getting one of post-KK/LA2 2x2 flower spots, the only question is what I'll grow with her - I'm guessing either another 24K2 clone or Royal Gorilla.
No real plan for the 24K2 clones, I just wanted to keep the genetics. They're spitting out veg growth now. They really stretched tall when I was away for the weekend, except for the little topped freak obscured by the Chocolope leaf. I'm tempted to make the best one a mother, and set up my propogation tent again to keep it alive and out of the way. I could also throw one or all into flower at some point. Perhaps I could try topping them to get the shape a little more manageable. Or I could cut clones off and try rooting them now that the growth is veg growth. Anyone have thoughts?

One of the reasons I like cloning so much is that you don't have to wait for them to mature before flower. As soon as they root, you can flower them. Gives you a lot more control over the timing and size.
