DNA Lemon Skunk Hempy Grow

Sisco, they are coming along great my friend. Thanks for the easily read thread by the way. I'm sure it says it somewhere in here, but what type of nutes are you using? CFL's are great while vegging, I agree. I just started using them in my set up. I added a few around my 150w HPS. I can already see the difference. Are they just as good for flowering? If so i might just go out and buy a few more fixtures hah :grinjoint:

Love the Avatar! Ya, I'm using Fox Farms Grow Big, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom, Cal-Mag plus.

So far I'm @ half power on all feedings, thinking of bumping it up to 3/4 strength Next feeding, which is tomorrow afternoon after lights go on.

I pinched 2 of my girls again after seeing they were coming back with a single cola.

My Lemon Skunk is showing me 1 freaking cola, after waiting this long, I'm saying F1ck it! I'll let her grow that way till I flip the lights on her in a couple of days. That would be 20 DFS for her.

Another NOTE I would like to post today is, I plucked off the first and second set of fan leaves from ALL my plants.

I would love to have a 150 hps too, I think HPS does work better than CFL but, we do what we can with what we have.

Snuggs, grew some inspirational product, and I had a pretty good outcome too IMO. Check out my Photo Gallery. For personal use and low budget CFL can be a great way to go. :grinjoint:

I have a feeling it will show up sooner or later. The roots looked nice, I didn't see any sign of overcrowding.

I'm going to HD in the morning to pick up some more Perlite and ofcourse bulbs. I found a few Earth boxes (passive hydro) and they look like they will fit in my veg and clone area.

OK so my trip to the HD sucked...as usual!

They were out of 12" lamps and I bought the last 6 bags of Perlite. So, my plan to use two containers for my mothers is now down to 1 (Earth box) 12" Deep x 13" wide x 27" long.

I put all the bags and some left overs from my last grow in and it just made it. I have 5 Mothers in. That should prevent me from trying to flower my mothers :geek:

I've put the Blue mystic (beer can) into another can... I think an old coffee can. I think today is the last time my Lemon and Blue see long days. I don't know what Blue is yet, F or M...it was the only seed that I got reg.

Trying to get the camera to operate, may have whacked it one too many times :scratchinghead: That is all for now.

Bummer my friend. Try local organic garden centers/nurseries for perlite, that's where I got my 3 cubic foot bag - which is huge - for under $20. There's a Lowes, Home DePot and Walmart all within 5 miles, actually closer but I don't want to give out too much info. And the only hydro store I know of in this entire region is only 10 miles from here. It's rarely a long trip for supplies. Probably why I've spent so damn much:ganjamon:

i take clones and flower the mother all the time....that way they take up less space, and i have them to pop in the budroom....also if i decide i dont want to grow it, i just flower them all out....
they look terrific....go team....L:bravo:
 
The garden centers suck too, I asked for Perlite and they were scratching there heads.

I have the girls all transfered now and I think it should work fine. I'm hoping to get me a few clones started soon. I'm trying to get this non-stop harvest going. That's for the next journal...I hope.

The donors in there new home, I should say that I put in the first 3 bags of MG Perlite and then watered it until I got a good stream coming out the hole. After it was all wet I pulled my girls out of their containers and checked out the root structure, everything looked FG. I then threw in the last of my Perlite and wet around each girl with Ph'ed water, about 2 cups each and then I hit them with the nutes that I mixed up..Grow Big @ 1/2 thrust with 1/2 the recommended dose of Cal/mag plus.

You have 5 mothers in a tub so I assume you're going to take some clones? Will you eventually try to flower them in there?

It's like a white oasis of potness.

It looks like we've got the same temp/humidity display. It's great for the $.

Yeah they look cool in the tub, I figured I'd be screwing myself by just taking a few clones and flowering the mother. So the plan is to just keep taking clones from them to keep the flower room in constant action.

I have my LS and BM up in the flower chamber as we speak, the lights are off from 8am-8pm.

So today is the first day of their flowering cycle, I'm hoping BM is a lady too. But that would be way too awsome, I can't be that lucky, right?

So my LS would take around 10 weeks, and half that time for my BM (if it is a fem.) then when BMRoorRipis out of there I'll start to put the first wave of clones up with the LS.
 
Hey sisco! I must say I'm impressed, you not only have a plan, it's a good one!

I want to do something like you are, I'm thinking about sets of 2 or 3 plants per group. There's about 15-16 weeks in the growing cycle, so that's about a 3-4 week interval between groups. I guess if you established mothers or are growing from seed you could cut that to more like 12 weeks per cycle.

So that would be 2 about ready for harvest, 2 a month away, 2 just starting flower and 2 vegging.

Right now I have 5 just starting flower and 6 clones.

I think it will take a while to work in my plan, honestly it would work better from seeds like Doc is doing.

Anyhow looking good buddy. :peace:

I have that lounger with a potty and vaporizer built in, right in behind the red velvet rope, for you.

Great to see you around again my man, I'll try not to F2ck this one up too bad.

I'm seeing a little more growth so things are working out... OH, and EDIT the BM is a 8-9 week finish.

I just got back from doing some "work" and I may have just landed something on the side that could change the whole outcome of this grow, in a positive way.

No peaking! We'll have to wait and see.:peace: and love to all.
 
As he worked behind the blue curtain, we all asked ourselves "what could it be?". We know he is just building the anticipation to frantic level... Doc was grumbling cause he could not see from his chair. Everyone else is pacing!! Was Sisco mixing some new fertilizer or is it a new super set of lights?? Could it be super growing pots? We just will have to wait til he opens the curtain!!
