DK'S New Grow 2020

I’ve never tested mine, it’s still pretty much illegal here. I just dont get caught up in numbers. I either like it or I don’t.
Wait where is here if I may ask?

I believe in the entourage effect. I want a little of it all. We don’t even know all the magic that happens in the plants. Thc is important but as PW mentioned I’ve heard DJ short talk about the best strain he ever had tested around 14%. There is some chemical reaction going on withIn the plant that we don’t know yet because we are not allowed to research due to it being schedule 1.

I’ve seen test that they test strains that have the same thc and terpene profile but completely different effects.

There’s something important that we don’t know about yet
Now that's interesting  there is so much to this plant!

Some coco action

I wouldn’t worry too much about the signs of a def on the lower part of the plant. The plant looks well into flower. It’s probably just pulling the unused nutrients from the old leaves :thumb:
OK awesome. I hope she finishes soon... She smells divine!

Update!!!

Well so so... I finally dug into a proper deep clean and boy was it some effort... I lifted the plants out the DWC and they were so slimy again... OK so now I decided SOS! I was going to rinse off the roots...

Yuck!!! Look at how it's twisting signalling something is wrong...
OK so I read online about a peroxide bath(not the real name) mixing 10ml hydrogen peroxide 3% per 300ml water. This will eat off the bacteria associated with the roots..

Was rather nervous about doing so but after each one had a 20min bath with 10 min intervals. The roots were much much cleaner.... All the slimy roots I did take off... I know I know major stress... I tried cleaning as much as much as possible but there were some places I couldn't reach so I know this issue will be back again....

TThis time I will replace the rez a lot sooner. I did have lots of thick white roots popping up and that's the goal.

AAfterwards I proceeded with a slight defoliating process to let light in to the bottom nodes. I have also tied them down a bit more to accompany both plants as the became a bit to touchy with each other at such a young age imagine...

That's before...

And that's after... So it would seem she has recovered well... Shit thing is I checked the res...

Still fucking slimy... My goodness.... I forgot to put in ice for the Temps and shit.... I don't know what else I am doing wrong.

I Am honestly leaning to potting them into coco... Cause it's constant problems....

I have looked online for a hydroguard and the local one sold is R500 for a diluted solution. The rest is online so that would take forever.

OK so the rest are doing fairly well... Got the KVS starting to pack weight and the botanium looks so frosted but doesn't seem to be going further...

NNot to bad and already stinking up the place I would like to see this plant at its fullest. She doesn't drink much at all....

II'm hoping she gets to finish off nicely and big. So far the nugs look small to me and won't get very big... Which is a bummer...

I'll upload pics of the botanium quick some real nice snaps.

Looking good DK. That's why I've never tried dwc. I've seen some boss plants done that way but it seems too much fiddling for me. Hope you come right with the slimy roots.
Bru it's so annoying... I want to finish but if it hits a major issue I will re pot....

I'd like something like yours. Man your barrels are sexy af... Hey since we are the locals of South Africa I will pass some offspring of the gelato and DDA if you would like some...

Cool we can chat soon. Have a great week

Everything looks a bit leggy in there...is that strain related or would lowering the light help?
Evenining Mr shed!

The KVS both seem leggy as you put it. I did defoliate the DWC babies but I get what you saying. I'll measure the distance in the morning and post it. I think it's 1.5m but I could be wrong.

Nice frost on the Botanium
She sure is packing it on. How far along does she look. The trichomes are still clear on the tips so I'm unsure really.

DWC can be difficult to manage if you don't have control over water temps and/or cheap access to Z7 or Hydroguard. Coco would be a lot easier in the heat but with the need to water more frequently being the trade-off.
Honestly enjoy the coco hey. Further how's things you Mr shed.

Sun finally showed up at 1:30pm so my wife is moving the plants out! Luckily she's home on Mondays.

1.5 meters is really really far away! That's the kind of distance you would need with a really powerful light. Is that what the manufacturer recommends?
My apologies I meant 1 metre it said 3ft on the pamphlet... My bad...

Ahh that's good. Sun is always nice to have out.

I too am home Mondays but only Mondays

Three feet the whole time? Or in early veg? Most lighting companies recommend starting higher and lowering them as you go. Which is why most lights cover less area in flower than in veg.
TBH there wasn't much on the pamphlet. I think I have it in the garage. But I don't recall it giving me times to hang differently. I do believe it's a Chinese no name brand. I read a review it draws 175w... It's pretty bright must say but I don't think that bright... Those ones Preston have are gorgeous but pricey...

Pity those two light I won couldn't be sent.
