DIY Stealth Cab, Hydro, LED & Multiple Strains in Small Space - Oh Boy!

Hey Krip, your grow is looking great! The sativas are definitely worth the extended flowering time but man it seems like FOREVER when you get to the third month... If you would like to get some extra harvests in during the year you may want to consider auto-flowers in your veg area while you're vegging moms and cloning. They are compact enough to share the space, will flower under veg light cycle, and will go from seed to harvest in 10-12 weeks. You'll have a smaller yeild from these varieties but an additional 3-4 harvests a year (at almost no additional cost) will pay off for you.

JCool, thanks, Bro & great to see you again! Another great tip on the autoflowers! :thumb:

Unfortunately, until I can clear some room on the veg side, I'm not sure that's gonna happen too quick, either.

I'll post some pics of veg later (flower coming in a few minutes since I already uploaded those pics) and you'll see what I'm talking about, but I have 7 plants now on the veg side, which again, is right around 2'x2'.

Hey Mr K, do you have any more pics of the young plants? Just wondering what they look like now :)

DIME, I'll take some updated ones just for you and get them posted in next few hours.

But, since I already uploaded the flower pics, please excuse the omission from my next post! :)

QUICK PIC UPDATE:

First, a couple quick shots of the Waterfarm Haze. Here's her main "cola cluster" which is still pretty undeveloped:

Here's a couple of her more well-developed tops:

The AK is getting harvested soon! (FINALLY!)

Here's some of her colas...I've noticed some foxtailing starting on some of them, so I'm guessing that's another sign they're about ready :):

You can see there are now very few white pistils left, but they are still there:

Thanks again for everyone's help & happy harvests!

Looking great Mr! :thumb:

Can't wait to see them.

NOPE!!! These are for YOUR eyes ONLY!

Here's the one PE clone that got topped:

And, here's the fourth, which is now the moster of the group since I topped the first one. She'll get topped soon, too:

Don't ever say never did anything special for you! :)

For DIME and all others, here's a couple more pics of veg:

:thumb:I think the Bushmaster could work for ya K~, I am 3 days into flower & the internodes are tightening up already, tops are definetly in pre flower! The Sour D is more of a sative pheno & was getting out of hand quick; I could tell she was gonna stretch like none other, then Bushmaster & boom/bam stretch has almost completely halted. I had let them veg until 2 feet, so lots of stretch would been a issue in the end. I swear to god K~, came in the tent this afternoon(20 min ago) & the tops looked like end of week #2. I will be real interested to see exactly how long before visable pistil formation. I caution you though when you go to use this stuff come talk to me first, I had help from N.Cal grower who has used all HCO stuff for the last 7 years soiless. I would have feck them up for sure without his help. I only had it in the res for 36 hours & had to come out, then Clearex flush; could tell by early signs that plant had enough by plant behavor when using this product.

Plants looking like some dank there K~.:morenutes: Happy Grows ~H~

H, that's good to know and I'll definately talk to you before I use it. Sounds like it's working great for you and, coincidently, I had been considering it for future grows, but for other reasons...

The first couple of samples I took from lower bud sites were a little on the "airy" side. The top colas don't appear to have that problem, although, I've yet to see one harvested & dried. :)

So, assuming I find the LED has trouble penetrating the canopy when I grow the plants this big, Bushmaster was one of the "tools" I was considering adding to the arsenal to help keep the canopy in control and get better coverage from the LED.

Man! I wish you guys could have seen those pics, those girls are beautiful!

Hope my girls look that good.

Thanks Mr Krip!

Shhhhhhhhhhh!....Please don't say anything...then I'll have to post pics for everyone!

Hi Mr. Krip. :)

I'm sure you've done the research about Bushmaster. It makes plants stay short and bush out.Something to use early in a grow.
I have to agree, your main problem is space. Light from the LED doesn't sound like it's working like it should either.....taking way to long.
I do think your harvest will be pretty good, just way too long.

The Madman needs to think a bit more, but it sounds like you have some more ready to go in, so it might be hard to change things before they go in.
I think we all do that, I know I do. Good Luck Brother! :Rasta:

I cheated.... ;)

Hey Mr. K - they look like they've been fattening up to me. :) I wanted to add that your vegging plants look really really healthy and happy. Stood out to me how good they looked. Nice job, buddy!

I must respectfully disagree with you OMM on your thoughts on Bushmaster. First Bushmaster is only used once & that is at 12/12 flip. It does cause a little bush effect but the main reason for use is to halt verticle growth & to immediately force the plant to sexual maturity. It is used for people who have heigth restrictions & want to cut 2-3 weeks off grow. I did not only research but have writen & conversed with many who have used it, & now I speak from first person knowledge on it's use as well. Not snake oil for sure IMO & many others; just like SSU is not snake oil if you believe K~ & his pics.:Namaste:

Have a great day & Happy Grows ~H~

Gee, I thought that was what I said. I've seen it used in many grows too.
It is definitely not snake oil? :Rasta:

Mr. Krip does not use a product until he does his own research.

You got it, OMM! I'm not sure there's too much to change up for this next grow. I've got a big haze, a big PE, a small AK, and (4) small PE's. So, it's probably gonna be the two big girls for the next round, as originally planned. That will get rid of that last haze and help make more room in veg.

I'm THINKING that a possible reason flower has taken so long MAY have been from the root damage the girls took when the previous owner cut them out of the grow slabs. I did give them plenty of time to recover. However, some Bushmaster may be a good move on future grows to help keep the plants shorter.
