Hey Dime! I see you've started already. Little one's are lookin' good! Love the 12/12 method. A mate of mine got great results and was able to build up a stash quicker. I am in the process of setting up for something similar for my next grow as well. But... He did experience that some strains did not do so well in the 12/12 from seed compared to others he had grown.
Looks like you're off to a great start there man!

Glad to have you here Mac-G! I just couldn't wait too long to start and had the seeds waiting for a while. I'm really happy they sprouted so fast and are growing in such a similar way. I'm really curious how this will go.

The true genetics of PE are a bit of a mystery just like my last grow. Way too many examples of this one out there so who knows. G13 sells a fem PE seed and they even say they aren't sure . The pic they have on their website looks almost exactly like the weed these came from. Ton of THC on the leaves, and looks a bit like Northern Lights up close.

Yes there is some nice strong smoke from the water cured P91 . The Kief is strong as hell too... Gotta be careful with that stuff!

Thanks for joining in! I hope it keeps going like it is... From what I've read this strain can be a quick finisher and give a good yield. I wish I could have seen the plant it came from before it got chopped, I would love to know how big it was.

What's going on, buddy. Again, I've missed quite a bit. I just went back and checked out the rest of your harvest and it was . Those tops looked beautiful! Were they really dry after it was all said and done?

I love these 12/12 from seed grows. My first grow and journal was a 12/12 from seed and they grow so fast it's incredible. I kinda screwed myself doing that for my first grow because it gave me a false perception of how fast plants grow! This is my first time veggin a plant and it seems like it's taking F-O-R-E-V-E-R.
Anyways, can't wait to watch them babies grow!

Yeah, the tops were pretty dry. After a day in a mason jar they softened up and are kinda like meds from a dispensary after a day or two. A bit dry on the outside and soft but not wet on the inside.

I'm hoping they don't take too long, but go longer than my last grow

You aren't slow, just at a steady pace that's full of support, great anecdotes, wisdom and of course... humor . But yeah, I know what you mean

Quick update, no pics until tonight as I need to get out of the house for a while . Cabin fever...

Seedlings got their first real watering today. I've been just adding a bit of moisture each day (~10ml ea) to keep the peat wet. Today I tried something I thought I saw DocBud do (don't remember if he liked it though ) and just dipped the cups in the water and let them fill up from the holes in the bottom. Guess I kinda made some quasi hempy cups after all. I let them each take in about 5 or 6oz of water then pulled the cup and the excess drained out. I also tilted the cups for around 5 seconds and let the water drain out the holes, which left the soil wet but not saturated or like soup. After sitting for a few minutes a bit of water dribbled out and then stopped, so it looks like it drained well.

The bath took place in a pitcher with a mix from a gallon of RO with 2.5ml of Cal-Mag and 10ml of Hygrozyme. I used the pitcher because it is marked and I could see how much water got taken up by each cup. Worked great!

The plants had a slight droop following the dunk, but have perked up in just a few minutes. Looks just like the last set of plants I had... slight droop after the "Monsoon" (TM DocBud Inc.) watering came then shot up and out like crazy in a few hours.

I'll get some pics up tonight and try and catch up on journals as well. I'm now subbed to 55 threads... man there's a lot of good stuff here!!!

Why post pics when you can post a video?

Plants seem to love a heavy watering as long as they can drain well. This is the first time all week I haven't had dry cups at the end of the day. Soil and peat is damp but not soaking wet. I think I have found a good level of water for these cups.

Check the volume on your speakers before you hit play, the fan noise is still a bit loud.

Thanks Blue, I'm trying to be more descriptive this time around. Helps me remember what I did so if it turns out good or bad i'll know why . Plus as time goes on, I'd like to be able to have some soild practices that can be incorporated into my grows. Don't think I'll ever stop experimenting and trying new techniques, but would love to have a strong base off which to start.

Under the 60X loop, you can see hairs and what looks like the heads of trichs. Last grow I saw the same thing and those turned out to be some frosty girls.

They are growing fast and seem to have loved the boost from watering.
