It would have been alot easier if the garden was closer lol should be worth it in the end. It's only first month of summer so they've got another month and half of hot sun before they start flowering...
They will get big between now and harvest.

Do you put a good heave mulch on them to help with moisture when its so hot?
The Veggie farmers around here use black plastic, just throwing it out there.

Yeah sorry I've been a bit slack. Here's a few video updates for anyone interested.
Managed to run enough hoses to reach the plot so starting to keep up with watering through this heat.

Update around the place. For the record, I'm aware the plants needed water. That was the reason for checking on them... Lol

Yeah they've outgrown it and haven't seen any kangaroo nibbles yet so might be safe... Probably should do something as a preventative measure though

Needs more mulch actually. Have been very very lazy in that respect. Not watering often enough either. They've had a fair few dry periods
