Derbybud's New Adventures With Nothing In Particular Going On: We'll See

Things are fine just busy getting ready for a short vacation with the horses and getting there and not having any cell service at all. Got back and trying to get caught up on the farm. Now I need a vacation to recover. Lol
Ahh glad you are well :thumb:
I know the feeling of needing a vacation after a vacation.

80% chance of rain tomorrow and 90% on Thursday. So maybe rain in the future but at 60% we yielded nothing. The dungeon is in need of rain water to keep things going.
Hope you get some brother.....I just topped off about 50 gallons today. That will last a little bit but hoping to add more.

7 miles happens to be the distance you need to relocate a captured squirrel to keep it from finding its way back to your fruit trees.
I wonder how scientifically studied that is. I am curious as to the controls used in that 'study'. I mean the squirrel can find its way home from 6.5 miles, but if you move his ass another half mile away he suddenly can't do it? How many squirrels did they attempt it with?

My mom was notorious for giving me these books for the shitter called "Uncle Johns Big Bathroom Readers" or could have been "Uncle Bob", but anyways, they had 'facts' at the bottom of each page and I would read them and always question the validity of a lot of them. "Really? you did a thoroughly controlled test on that to be able to make that claim". Anyways, sorry Shed....medicated and ramblin. Still not sure I buy the 7 mile thing but its one I am going to file away for useless information that i love to learn.

No idea, but when I had two beautiful peach trees the squirrels would pluck the best ones and sit on the peak of the garage roof and eat them where they knew I could see them. Fucking fuckers. I checked online and it said 7 miles, so that's how far I drove to release the two I caught. It worked! Of course, 5 miles might have worked as well, but better safe than sorry.

Bread and peanut butter was the bait.
