Derbybud Does CBD Strains In Coco & More

I was shocked how well mine came out. o_OJust let them do there thing for a while and grow some. Mine were quite tall already but I topped them down to the 5th node and removed from the bottom up to the 4th node and pulled them down flat. And really just tried to keep them flat until center growth caught up. Once that happened did a nice defol and flipped them to 12/12 . To be honest I haven't touch them since. Now this weekend will be 21 days post flip and I'll yank them out and do a good defol again.

Ok quick update. This is what's left to finish up in the tents.
The 2 in back are cbdutch treats from seed. 5 weeks after flip. Looking nice and frosty. Front 2 are clones at 9 days after flip. Left cbdutch treat little girl in the right is a white widow.
Next up in the other side are also clones. 2 on the right are cbdutch treat and 2 on the left are white widow
All these are getting a hodge podge of nutes. Just using up what I have up and I'll buy new come fall
Thanks for stopping by
Derbybud

I saw that first picture and got really happy. 4 Even plants filling out a tent and all the same height. You are killing it Derby. Congrats on how far you've come this year.

What really surprised me Ase was how easy it is also. You don't need to be fussing with them everyday. Clip, bend, chop, and let them do their thing for a week or more and repeat.
Thanks for keeping an eye on me as I was still rather new at all this and you gave me the encouragement to do it.

Yeah it really is a simple and incredible methodology I think. Helps with airflow and height/residual heat issues. After the after stretch defoliation there is really nothing more you have to do. You are really only doing about 5-6 weeks of work. There is about 3 weeks of of training before the flip and maybe 3 weeks after. Before and after that its just 10-11 weeks of feeding correctly. That really is a good ratio if only 1/3rd of the total weeks of the grow you are having to actually do something right?

The 4 clones in that picture I just let them grow for about 2 weeks then topped them let them go about 2 weeks then pulled them down. After 2 weeks I did a heavy defol and stuck them under 12/12 with the auto watering. This weekend is 3 weeks flip. I'll pull them out for another heavy defol and close the tent up on them until harvest. Done

You can use anything that is a starch. Sugar, corn, potatoes are the biggies. The yeast turns the starches into alcohol and those are your low wines. Low wines are usually about 10-15 % alcohol. Low wines then are boiled off in the still to achieve a much higher percentage of alcohol. Alcohol vaporizers at 173f and water at 211f. Keeping boil temps between those 2 figures separates the 2.
It's very cheap to make. I haven't priced things lately but between $15. - $20. Yields about 10 gallons of low wines. That yields about 4-5 quarts of 100 proof shine. It's fun really.
Shine one day
