Derbybud Does CBD Strains In Coco & More

Ok back to my journal. Chopped my Cbdutch treat. She was hardly drinking anything and was in more distress this morning. Here she is with all her restraints removed waiting for me to put her out of her misery
She was the most top heavy girl that I've grown and the numbers show it. Here is 1 of 3 bowls of trimmed buds
And here we have a few of the bigger buds, but there were many when we got done.
So the final tally after 3 1/2 hours of chop and trim are:
949 grams of wet buds so 20% of that would be about 190 grams dry or 6.77 zips. Wow. This is putting a whole new meaning into the drying process at the Derby household. With last weekends 700 plus grams drying in the fridge things are getting crowded.
Thanks for coming by

That's a really nice looking plant! You are going to have that around for a long time with all those huge colas. Congrats!

Thanks for the kind words flash. I'm glad you've been around the whole journey. It had it's ups and downs but I'm more than happy with what I've been trying to achieve. Feel blessed to have come this far so quickly and I owe most of that to the people with input in this journal. Thanks

Thanks Ase I owe you some of the credit. The quad is definitely the best way to start a plant. And you pushed me to do defol s the way it needs to be done.
Should have this strain around for a while what doesn't show is that bowl is 15" in the inside and had enough big colas tip fill that tray by the time we got done. I thought i was taking other pictures but with sticky gloves on some are missing. I have big hands and have a hell of a time with taking gloves on and off and there xl gloves. Thanks again

Oh I know the feeling :). From now on when you are growing you will look at each plant and wonder why they don't seem as big as this one. Then in the end the yield is the same and you realize they are the same. This happens every grow for me now... lol. Although my girls I am taking down this week are clearly my biggest in terms of a whole tent together.

I merely have a pretty simple training regimen and have learned when to do defoliation. I appreciate you giving me some of the credit but I just sit back and watched. I'm glad you used my style but you did all this on your own. This really had nothing to do with me. You are a very humble person and you clearly don't like compliments but it's hard to avoid when you grow plants like this. I know you always say you haven't been growing for long enough to be winning contests or even entering but you are there now. I won my first POTM a year after I started growing. My point with all of this is that you are where I was when I couldn't believe it and people were starting to ask me questions. I thought there is so many other people on this site so why me? Then you start getting a bit of a following and it's still weird.

The reason for all of it though is the plants. If you had crappy plants and you were a good dude you wouldn't be having all this happen. My advice is to just accept it and enjoy it. Enter the contests and have fun with it. Sponsors want to give you free items. The only harm you do is by not trying. You don't have to flaunt it (I don't think you will have a problem with that..lol) but just stick to what you do and help anyone you can. Your plants clearly show that you know what you are doing and that is what will attract people first and foremost. Anyone in their right mind would be very happy to have the plants you grew this round. Welcome to the big leagues;)!

Yeh I'll miss things but have plenty of other things to keep me busy. Might start things again a little earlier than my wife will like. Might start 4 plants and make sure there on the auto waterer for the 12 days I'll be in vacation in October. She'll never know. I hope lol
NO and I will tell. I am the only one who smokes and will be fine. You are stressing out mom with trying to go through loop holes or behind her back and that can make conditions worse. You have to learn to give in every once in a while.:green_heart::peace:
