Yeh I guess so and your stuck with me.Maybe, but you're our comedy relief and that makes everything okay.
I really like this part of the grow. I can sit and watch them do their thing and keep looking where I can help them out with getting light where I think it needs to get to and help out get airflow thru it so it can do it's thingYou are nailing it Derby. I agree. They are on autopilot now. Just sit back and enjoy the showI really like this part of the grow. I can sit and watch them do their thing and keep looking where I can help them out with getting light where I think it needs to get to and help out get airflow thru it so it can do it's thing
I try to keep the Romex from touching the plant. I feel with no give in it it might start to cut into the plant as it grows. That's why I use the padded green stuff against the plant but only need about 2-3 inches then use any stiff wire from there as it actually helps connecting it to my cages
AwesomeCloning time. Down to the Derby dungeon we go
I'm not sure if I have the ability to pad my Romex as I am working with a young 15 day old girl. I'm trying to build in a little give so I don't damage her stem. She pulled free of the padded wire last night so swapped it out with some longer Romex. I'm growing in CoCo so not as dense as soil.

Sorry Shed just got done and no pictures. Have company coming over in 45 min to spend the weekend. After they leave on Monday I'll do a complete update and get some pictures then. I took big ones, small ones, scuffed up some. Did a variety to see the differences as to how to go in the future. Once I get a good system down then I'll do a complete write up.Binder clips on the sides of the pot will work as anchors as well.
Take pics. Show me how it's done!
Which one is your CBDream if you don't mind me asking?
I'll say! I turn my back for a second and you've got killer lights, wire racks, medieval cages, and a dungeon? Sounds like your plants need a safe word! LOL Good job on the LST. You've really opened up their structure well. Couple that with those lights and this grow is going to explode.Got a great environment for them this grow so things are going fast right now
Thanks Rider as I'm always trying to learn. I took all sorts of clones on Saturday just to see what I get. Big, small, fat, skinny, you name it I cut it. Just doing things the Derbybud way (outside the box) lolI'll say! I turn my back for a second and you've got killer lights, wire racks, medieval cages, and a dungeon? Saw you were talking about ways of cloning. I haven't read Bign's post that Shed linked to but I've had very good luck with letting the plant grow beyond the node that you want to top at and taking the clone from there. You end up with a strong clone that grows normally rather than the alternate branching you get when cutting are taken lower. We were talking about it over on JustMeds journal yesterday. Maybe this link will take you there.
Innovators gotta innovate! I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Thanks Rider as I'm always trying to learn. I took all sorts of clones on Saturday just to see what I get. Big, small, fat, skinny, you name it I cut it. Just doing things the Derbybud way (outside the box) lol
I really am surprised I still have a full head of hair with all the head scratching I doInnovators gotta innovate! I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

JustMeds R & D
If nothing else, jump to the end and take a look at JustMeds' stunning plant in flower. He's growing completely naturally using Doc Buds high brix method and the results speak for themselves.Damn you Rider you better have not given me another thread to sub to! I'll make that decision tomorrow. In the meantime, interesting idea on the clone cutting spot. But you only get one chance (or one clone) on that one as opposed to the side branches.
That they do. Nice plants and the roots are rocking itIf nothing else, jump to the end and take a look at JustMeds' stunning plant in flower. He's growing completely naturally using Doc Buds high brix method and the results speak for themselves.
