Derbybud Does CBD Strains In Coco & More

After reading Bigs way I have a while to get 4-5 nodes to take my clones.

I don't know Derby, his clones don't look 5 nodes tall even though that's what he wrote. You have enough stretch in those branches to take a few with two nodes below the puck and see what happens. Don't forget that after you flip you can monstercrop (cutting clones about 2 weeks after flip) which makes for really bushy plants with many more branches than clones cut in veg. My AK-47 is a monster crop and it's crazy.

Just an idea.

Thanks for the info Shed. I'll probably do about 4 then this weekend so I can see if they take before I flip

So worked on the girls this morning. Put cages on all of them and did some training on them. Going into work right now but will post some pictures on them later. Here's the group after their training

Jesus.... Are you trying to land planes with those lights? lol Nicely done but I have to ask what's the purpose of the cages? Sorry if you covered it earlier and I missed it.

The cages help keep things together and give me unlimited places to pull my training down to. I can start by pulling something down a little on one day and if I want to pull it further in a few days I can take it down about 3/4" or can pull it side to side to help open more bud sites. If I want to open things up more I can take my mounting point up toward the top of the plant and pull it further down the pot and not put as much pressure on the main stems. I used to use safety pins but it was just a single point I would have to move if I wanted to do the same. Hope this makes sense of not I can further elaborate

And then the widow that I split the main stems apart the other night. I'm not putting any pressure on those 2 stems just taking the tops and spreading them out some to keep my canopy level

Also what I do is use regular wire for my anchors. I attach my 3" green rubber coated wires to the plant and attach it to regular romex wire left over from some other diy jobs around the farm. Stiffer and easier to attach to my cages. Lots cheaper than the rubber coated stuff
