Re: Derbybud Does Crop King's CBD Strains In Coco & More

I see. So is it strictly for coco or can it be used in promix too like the trio line? Do you like it better than the trio or just bc it's for coco?
I can't really comment on that Joe as I never used the trio. I use the grow and bloom for coco only from AN. Both are 2 part.
And I've only used coco other than a complete screw up soil grow before the 420 family.

I stopped using RO water because I getting crazy deficiency like issues when I switched to tap and adjusted my nutes to the tap the issues went away.

I like RO water but prefer water from tap that has a air stone in it for 24 hours no lid and get anything like chlorine out of it, but I don't like RO Bc then I literally have to add cal-mag, and every other element of the grow and with tap I'll rarely use cal-mag and can cut back on humic and fulmic acids back into it SO heavy i still use it during certain parts of my grow but not entire grow I like it at seedlings and flush time

I don’t have an air stone but should definitely get one. 24 hours of sitting minimum is critical for my tap water, anything less and bad things happen. Every time I’ve fed straight from the tap I’ve had problems. My tap water comes in around 120 ppm.

How do I test ppm? What range should I be in for tap water. I too leave mine out in an open container for 24 hours to evaporate chlorine, but I've never checked ppm.

A ppm meter joe

I’d say get a cheap one on Amazon. If you google “ppm meter Amazon” the first result is the one I have, it’s cheap but works fine and you don’t need to worry about being careful like with a pH pen, as the sensor works on conductivity and doesn’t need to stay wet all the time.

Once you start using the PPM meter it’s hard to go back as it’s great information to get your feeding dialled in.

Oh and Joe, to answer your other question, tap water varies based on how it’s treated. My parents’ well water and my own city water are very different. My PPM drops as the chlorine works itself out. I might get 120 from the tap, but measure 2 days later and it’s 100.

RO seeks to remove what’s in the tap water, down to almost 0 PPM. Would prevent us from having to leave it out to work the chlorine out. But Pennywise and others have talked about how RO gave them troubles so while I strongly considered, I stayed away.

I bought an RO water filter but I haven't used it for like 3 grows now. I was seeing weird deficiencies that were a bitch to correct. As long as your tap isn't super high ppm to start it will work just fine.

Curious to see if the WW bounced back at all! The suspense is killing me derb.....

Alright! Now she's cooking!

I'm the same way. Thought it was nuts to get my ppm near 500. Then I finally tried it and my plants loved me for it.

I'll just keep pushing it. Also showing some good roots. I use clear plastic cups and put those into red cups so I can keep an eye on them. Finally. Thanks guys. Just needed a kick In the a$$. Getting use to photo run is different then my autos.

Your doing great now! Just keep them at their feed levels, or I would. I think you had the right idea honestly but they levels you were feeding are best for the first set of leaves. By the 5th set of leaves 500 is appropriate. Same thing with my clones I coco as soon as there are roots they want normal full strength veg nutes?

Point is like penny said that new growth looks really Nice! And that's all that matters :high-five:
