Derbybud Does CBD Strains In Coco & More

A couple of things @Derbybud while I'm on pg 167, the cages you placed around your pots...is that just regular cage from the local big box store that you tied together behind the pic? I like the idea.

Second, how much does rain water affect the cal-mag levels in the medium? I know you are in coco, and I am in soil, would it have the same effect? It might explain some things for me.

Being in coco is like running it in hydro so I never check ph run off and hydro needs plenty of cal mag on its own and LEDS need that much more. Where I need to watch is I use cal mag plus which has nitrogen in it so I need to make sure with the amount I need not to burn my plants. I really should look into something else with out the nitrogen as it seems I'm always burning tips.
My cages are made from a heavy gauge, small squared fence wire that I have a spool of that I cut up and bend it around the pot. This is one of the best things in my garden that helps me train my girls easily because of all the attachment points. I use to try to pull things down or apart to quickly and would split branches from the main stalk now I can pull things more gradually over a few days going from one square to another and I can pull things sideways by moving over a square or 2 in a few days. I've been thinking of buying some smaller squared fence so I can have even more attachment points. I have 3/4 squares and would like 1/2 squares.

Good information, since I have cal-mag+ coming today. I did not know it had nitrogen as it never stated on the site where I got it from. I'll use half strength to start. :thanks:

I'm on board to try that next time around. I love the idea plus it looks like it will give my fab pots s some support. Thanks for sharing that.

In soil you don't need as much as I do in coco but watch it if running LEDs as it's not the one you want to go lite on. You would be better off feeding less grow nutes than cal mag. Calcium is very important for uptake of other nutrients for the plant.

Great updates! Looks like they are done like dinner:) I had my first rip of early brookie this morning from another broken branch

She’s a nice light smoke this early, tastes like fuel and smells sweet and sweaty after drying for a few days (I’m harvesting in a couple weeks)

Happy brookie harvests you fellas
