Defoled the crap out of thing 1 after the picture. Took about 120 fans. We'll see what happens. Lol

I don't think that will happen this late in flower but that's just a sense I have based on nothing but some sense I have. Leaves provide resources to the buds.
These were mostly thru out the center doing nothing. They were very light in color and smashed up against buds. So off with there heads. Might do thing 2 tomorrow. Just thinking thru my journal. Lol

Can't wait to see the post defoliation pics (or next update). You know how much I love some defoliation. Those colas are gonna look huge, bigger than they already do.
Of if they're blocking something (light, air) then gone they go!
Preach!

Yeah show us the post defo pics if you can :D! The plants are looking really great! I love the shape of the bigger one. You are really good at shaping beautiful plants! I remember I was visiting your journal the most before I decided to subscribe here! Regarding the defoliation I m curious to see the results as looking from the picture it looks like she was developing well cause she has lots of space and can have light coming from everywhere. Maybe the center were too crowded. The borders look really well and I guess you didn't touch it that much! Regarding if it was late or not as usual it depends on point of view. I think if a plant is healthy, it can be a seriously good thing. I incist on healthy cause I could see in that grow how the plants always reacted well to any training vs some I grew before with less skills. I hope someday true comparative studies will be done and give us the answers!

I'm going to try to get some pix up tomorrow but have allot to get done on the farm before work. I don't think the defol will be to your expectations as these autos don't get the abuse that I give my photos. They have a little bit too much time to finish to abuse them. I got to get some sleep.

Wow thanks for the kind words flash. I've only been growing a year now and to say my first grow was a success is to say I did get a harvest out of 4 autos that I grew. I had numerous issues but got thru it thanks to great people on here. I'm always trying different things to help with my time constraints. I found out that sometimes is just best to let the plants do there thing and not mess with them all the time. As far as how I train my photo girls I do what's call quad lining. If you want to see it done correctly make sure you check out @Acesino85 journals. He is the master and I can get a little sloppy at times.
The Brooklyn Sunrise autos I have going on now I just topped and kept pulling her apart to keep air movement and light to penetrate the center. I also like to do some heavy defol once I know the plant is healthy and is in need of it. If you need some help just stop by here and ask or shout out. And thanks again.
