Dennise - No Longer The Newest Of Newbies - Not Growing In MG - Perpetual

Don't be sad. I think it's a perfect little seedling light which frees up quite a bit of space so for the price, wattage and it does have a good footprint. I could probably pop 4-6 if needed at a time with it and get them through their baby stage thus freeing up that space so you can time it with a perpetual grow and I'm finding it quite useful....:circle-of-love:[/QUO
Yes, Dennise, it is very useful for the seeding growing because of soft light output , the spectrum is from UV to IR.

:passitleft: High Tead... I'll see what I can do about that...:biglaugh::biglaugh: I've got 2 babies that are up and waving this morning... An auto Lime Daiquiri and a auto Colorado Cookies both are Dutch Passion and I've never had beans pop this fast. I put them in the can to germ 3 days ago... They had a huge tap on both in 36 hours and in less than 24 hours after being put to dirt they were up and waving... Majorly fresh nice beans from Haze.IO. I had tried the Lime Daiquiri before and I had one of my sick moments during the germ and pop and she never popped soil. I'm pretty sure I did something... Just not sure what...
I just watered everybody this morning so it won't be today but I will have to pull the 2 autos I have going now... They don't have much longer and I will put them in the tub next watering cause I will have to check their trichs by then so I will get ya some tub shot then. I've been using 8 gallon Smart pots in the bloom tent and to be honest I can't pick them up so I don't know if you will see them in the tub again or not....
Hope everyone has a blessed and green day and I will try and get new pics up later today...:passitleft: Wake and bake time.......:circle-of-love:

I've never done any autos before. Never. I know... crazy.... I mean, after all these years and never once grew an auto.
Some DDAs fell into my world the other day. I'll be asking auto questions soon.... well, maybe now.

AKGramma was telling me that autos trip into bloom when their roots hit the bottom of the container. Do you share that thought? If so, have you ever used an elongated container to get a bigger plant?

I've got these 6" PVC tubes that are about 16" tall. They hold about 6L of medium. I'm thinking of using it for an auto grow. Thoughts?

Tead I was just rereading my reply and I didn't really answer your question but no I hadn't ever even heard that before and after thinking about it can't think of anyway to know. I only leave them in their seedling cup for about 10 days after popping soil then transplant up to whatever is going to be their final home and that usually depends on where they are going to have to live for the rest of their time.. The more space I have available is the deciding point...
I have done the last 2 babies a little differently and popped them in the little biodegradable pot thingys that I don't have to remove and just plant it into their final home without disturbing them. The pot they are in will just break down in the new soil I think and I want to see if it makes any difference. I've always been told that auto's don't like to be transplanted due to stress which is why I go straight to their final home vs going to a veg pot then bloom pot with my photo girls... Anyhow it will make it a lot easier and I want to see if it helps avoid that day or 2 of stress that slows them down for a minute.. Anyhow as usual I'm trying to get my lazy azz up to get some pics. Still not going to be in the tub cause fella is running errands for me and I just can't pick em up right now they are so big. The new babies I can but everyone else is frigging huge this time... Such a problem to have...:biglaugh:....:circle-of-love:

I don't really fuss too much over my babies. Not so much that I'd even really notice 2 days of slowness after transplant... and surely not enough to actually worry about it.
Thanks for the words tho. I'll be replanting them from pure perlite to Osmocote dosed perlite.... so replanting wisdom is timely.

I did get pics taken yesterday and will try to get them posted before the day is out... The leggy lady in bloom is starting to show some amber so will be chopped today or tomorrow and the Critical Jack Herer auto is close behind... The 2 baby autos were potted up to their final homes and as soon as I get the one out of the bloom tent the last photo girl in veg will go to the bloom tent and I will pop a couple of photo beans... I love this part...:yahoo:
Hope everyone has a blessed and green day... Time to wake and bake...:circle-of-love:
