Dennise - No Longer The Newest Of Newbies - Not Growing In MG - Perpetual

:passitleft: High everyone... Grizz. No I don't believe the right would have acted this way... Number 1 they don't have all the extra time on their hands as they have a job because they don't live in momma's basement and have bills to pay ... The obstructionism I'm watching from the left is not only childish it's dangerous for this country... They are trying to stop every one of Trumps appointees... All they can do is make it take longer but in the mean time his cabinet is not even filled yet including his Attorney general... That makes America vulnerable imo but it shouldn't be much longer and hopefully he'll continue on with his agenda... The left here really is melting down... Kinda amusing to watch if it wasn't so bad for the country...
I finally found my camera last night and of course it was deader than dead but it has been charged all night so if I can get up off my lazy azz... I'll get my girls posted up shortly... Hope everyone has a blessed and green day...:circle-of-love:

Their leadership? The best of their best? Encouraging and organizing that stuff? Salting the media with it every day? Their leadership.

That's the amazing part. I don't even have to be judgmental about it - I just watch and wonder why highly educated, highly ambitious, highly accomplished people think that this is a good idea.

I live around all sorts of whackjobs - people who aren't highly educated, highly ambitious, highly accomplished people. They say and do things that aren't well-considered. When they get frustrated or feel vulnerable, they'll make bad decisions. They'll throw something or hit someone or shout words they don't mean. They're just ordinary people - salt of the earth folks. They're not responsible for much besides themselves, and sometimes not even that.

On the other hand, I'm also accustomed to the elite class, the people who wanted to compete and win, and did what was necessary to get there. These people made better decisions and they know it. They knew it when they were making them, and they knew it when they won. Every time. They know they make better decisions. They want to lead - a natural response to knowing that they're better decision makers. And that's a good thing - that's the way of things - twas ever thus.

However ... there's a "yuge" :cheesygrinsmiley: difference in responsibility. When the little guy shouts foolish insults and threats, he doesn't do a lot of damage. Maybe he throws a punch and hurts someone, maybe something gets vandalized, maybe his posse joins in on the fun. That happens every day in every human society, for a whole buncha different reasons.

But when leaders encourage people to be hateful and violent, an entire society is damaged. Whackjobs don't bother me that much. Leaders who organize and fund them bother me.

So I wonder why the entire leadership of the party, after three months, is still encouraging people to be angry that the nice lady didn't win her election. The leadership! The best of their best are organizing and encouraging marches of intimidation and angry insults, and the violence that goes with that atmosphere. The best of the best, the smartest people in the media, snap that up and broadcast it everywhere, while trying desperately to explain the genuine grievances of the mob.

I have such a hard time understanding the wisdom, y'know? As you point out, the best of the best don't usually encourage angry mob behavior. This time they're openly stoking every sign of hatred they can find.

Hmm, ok, so I've written it ... do I actually post it?

Yeah, I guess so. Deplorables don't get their voices heard very often these days. I'm actually a pretty nice guy. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Don't let those glasses get too rosey, republicans protested and burned crosses both times Obama was elected. Both sides can be generalized based on the actions of morons, but that just makes whoever says it look ignorant.

With respect, that is a direct comparison between an elephant and an ant. Anyone who cannot clearly see the difference between the passionate but absolutely legal "protests" of the American right for the past six years, and the organized, well-funded, calculated mob violence of the left, probably doesn't WANT to see it. The Tea Party was accused of all sorts of nasty and violent things, but none of them were ever true. They did their protesting by the book and many blacks and people of color were right in there with them. I attended (and addressed) 4 major Tea Party events with between 4,000 and 12,000 people in attendance and it was like being at Disneyland everyone was so civil and happy. Black and white and red and yellow came together to protest INTRUSIVE GOVERNMENT, OBSCENE TAXES and INSANE DEBT. The only problems (same as Trump's rallies) were caused by a few planted troublemakers by the democrats. THAT IS THE TRUTH.

Most liberals don't know that. It's a fact that these liberal mob "protests" are only possible because so many on the left don't really know the facts about many of the issues they scream about. They are simply the screamers in our world. Not all, but enough, and even those liberals who don't participate in this anger and destruction are tacitly supporting it. There is NO legitimate political reason to be vile and destructive. None.

That's why there is always the immediate moral equivalency. "The Republicans burned crosses when Obama was elected..." If there had actually been even one real incidence of this, that person would be in jail for life and you know it. Republicans would prosecute that person even if it was a republican. The left does all that stuff. Then they try to find examples of equivalency and those examples are always proven upon further examination to be horseshit. Every incidence (the very few) of a burning cross or a church that was defaced, turns out that democrats did those acts to blame the republicans, every one, and with a compliant media that usually works. I'm not going to run down each one here because everyone has google. Democrats accuse the right of racial hatred and always invoke "the KKK"...the KKK today is about a hundred hillbillies strong and is just some drunk loudmouths who are on nobody's side politically. The KKK was originally a militia that was formed by the Democrats to intimidate and murder freed blacks and the republicans who supported giving them equal rights. Democrats accuse republicans of suppression when it was the republicans who freed the slaves from democrats, voted for, and passed into law, the voting rights act and all the laws that allow blacks to own property, all of it against the will of the democrats who have fought bitterly against all civil rights issues for 100 years. Hell, Robert Byrd, the senior democrat US senator for 4 decades, was once a KKK leader! The only reason so many otherwise good people are democrats is they don't know ANY of this!

When one side is full of people who would NEVER support it if they actually knew what that side is about, you have to misrepresent what that side is about to keep your membership. That's why liberals generally buy pencils with erasers. They make a lot of mistakes and they love to rewrite history. And, the liberal strategy of rounding up lots of passionate people who know zero about real history seems to be in full operation. Shame that so many of those folks don't know they are being very cynically used as tools. And let's be honest, many in these "protests" don't give a shit about politics at all, they just want to destroy stuff.

MARIJUANA is NOT a political issue. It's just as much for conservatives as it is for liberals. And many "leaders" on both sides are misrepresenting aspects of the marijuana issue for purely political reasons.

TO MY LIBERAL BROTHERS AND SISTERS: I am the MOST LIBERAL CONSERVATIVE, EVER. I support a persons right to an abortion, don't subscribe to a religion, and want to protect the water, the air, and all manner of cute little animals. I don't want pipelines to leak, I don't want kids to go hungry, and I never met a lesbian or an immigrant I didn't like. Plus I grow pot. But the funny thing is, none of these are asymmetrical political issues, everybody with common sense feels the PRETTY MUCH the same way about these things but the left calls many of those issues something they are not and politicizes them to KEEP AMERICA DIVIDED.

The real problem is good people who don't understand enough about issues, and their fellow man, to realize they are being used.

Let the cross burning in my yard begin... :sorry:

I've wondered sometimes, how many of us there actually are. :hmmmm:

I support those very same things. :hmmmm: I talk about it differently than a liberal would though. I don't want laws. Laws be bad in general. Laws should always be last resorts. So that's opposite from the approach a progressive would take.

And I get a kick out of the way people misread me, too. I wear a gray tail and I've spent my life working with the common man, so I look and act like a liberal. Oh yeah, and I smoke pot every day. Can't blame people when they get it wrong. But I've always been on my own - the owner of a mom&pop business, with no one to ever tell us what we can and can't do. So in my world, life is dynamic - you can't write down rules for it - you have to adapt to it, adjust your approach on the fly. I need the flexibility in my life that will allow me to steer a course of my own.

I often find myself comparing laws and rules to growing a plant. There's a mindset that says you can write everything down and follow the steps and you can grow the best, most perfect plant. And maybe you can. But usually, something will change and your rules won't. The growth of a plant is a dynamic thing. It doesn't follow your rules. And when you elevate rules to laws, you punish the plant for not following the expert rules that you wrote for it. An expert would already know that the plant doesn't follow rules, so ... what's that all about? :hmmmm: I really don't grasp how someone who grows plants thinks that more government helps. And unfortunately, that's what the Left is all about - more government rules, always more government power. Rules for this and laws for that - vast amounts of people hired to look over our shoulders and insist that we make the right decisions or we'll be punished. That's a tough environment for a plant to thrive in.

I imagine we're giving the mods the heebie jeebies, and I apologize for skirting the rules (oops, see I did that thing again). If it all disappears, I'm fine with that - don' wanna raise any hackles. It's just that, like I said, deplorables don't get to be heard very much these days.

:Namaste:

Rules? UH OH. We are just discussing the issues of the day in a responsible way. I hope nobody is offended. My pet peeve is people taking "offense" when they damn well know no "offense" was intended.

I try to express myself in a way that doesn't provoke people, but does provoke thought. Many times in my life, my "take" on things and the reasoned way I attempt to express it, has opened someone's mind to new possibilities which more accurate information is supposed to do. Ben Franklin said once that if you tell someone what to think they will almost always try to disagree, but if you give someone the full information they need to simply think for themselves, they will almost always arrive at the correct conclusion. My critique of the left always comes back to good and smart people being intentionally misinformed by their side, but it's nothing personal about the many good people who are on that side.

Hyena's guiding principles for discussing anything:

-I offer my thoughts with love for my fellow man and sincere desire to promote truth and common sense. Never in anger. Never unfair.

-The only people who get angry about a fair and measured discussion of any topic are those who want to be angry. Not me.

-My second-favorite thing is to know something....my favorite thing is to learn something new.

-Even those who completely disagree can teach us something so I always listen to them. Unless they are screaming.

This is my final comment on this subject. Offered in peace.

Back to growing weed!!

Peace, Hyena

Hi Dennise. Just sitting here smoking roaches,(that's all I have until I harvest next wk. That's what I get for sharing a little to much.) Anyway looking at the news and reading your post reminds me of Ross Perot. We should of stuck with him and not waited so long to get rid of all these career pols and on artist. :thanks:
There's nI y...LOL In my case however it is much more important than my popularity... As I'm sure you've read my sons are in the Army... My youngest just got out of full time Army but is still in the reserves... That and the fact I love my country and have watched as people claiming to be liberals tried to destroy her. I pray President Trump can bring her back to the great country she is... The obstruction I'm seeing is pretty unbelievable but hopefully the left will eventually understand we won... And with all I have I pray President Trump will be able to make good on his campaign promises... Lord knows he's trying... IMO he has achieved more in less than 3 weeks than our last commander and chief did in 8 years...
I was a bit surprised Obummer didn't legalize marijuana... I really thought he would on the federal level... I don't think Trump is going to shut it down and he has stated he will leave it to the state and he does agree with medical but I have heard him say he would have to look at recreational... Even as red as my state is.. They have medical mj before the court here... It's going to happen... It's just going to take more time...
Hope everyone has a blessed and green day....:circle-of-love:

arts and entertainment, sports & recreation, religion deeper understanding spirituality broaderning horizons , these aren't only respected and enjoyed depending on what side of politics you stand on.. i saw an article about fashion being involved in politics, certain brands depending on your side. Makes me sick.. educated people were commenting/agreeing that their fashion is better because of their political siding.. I buy stuff cause I like it, don't we all? Or some buying it cause others will like it, whether their comfortable or not? That's only way I can see it being related, lol...that was more a comment about male fashion, girls I've heard you. But it looks great ) . I look a little surfer/hippy/stoner and can have deep conversations about topics, then people assume a political stance I must take. And state this higher moral ground they on than the others.. but to me, the ultimate hypocrites.. being fair, just & open doesn't put you on one side of politics, makes you a decent person I'd get to know though.. and I understand and accept friend with opposite political standing. There lots of hope when voting that this person is going to be the one to stand up and be able to make a difference for the better (or in my case the last few elections, the better puppet)

Morning guys... I have felt pretty awful the last couple of days but I have to thank each and everyone who has posted on here since I've been gone... When I read the post from yesterday I actually felt like things in our country are going to be just fine. I honestly had no idea there were this many of us and if there is this many on here... I can finally have hope that there's a whole lot more in the real world... Gray I will admit I kinda knew we saw things somewhat the same but to read we are not quite as alone in our beliefs on here is very enlightening and gives me hope.
To all my Irredeemable Deplorable friends... Thank you so much for letting me know I am not alone in my beliefs and giving me so much hope for our beautiful country...
I have to water everything today so I will get my pics up today. I'm feeling better so far today so hopefully I will get er' done... Hope everyone has a blessed and green day...:circle-of-love:

Hey Dennise,
I have a question for you? do you think the 45w led grow panel is good for your cannbis? as we know that , it is only 36w actual power . Our initial design the 45w led grow panel is for cannabis seeding growing and vegetable growing. but for the flowering , as you know, it is still in process of grow journey.
If you put more ( 3, or 4 or more) , does it work?
looking forward to hearing from you .
Sean

It's great to see you jay... still lopping? hope all is well mate..

Hi Sean... Actually I don't think it would grow much past the seedling stage and the most I had under it was 2. I posted them up on your journal and back through here a bit ago... It works great for popping seeds and then for about a week to 10 days as a seedling light but after that they were looking for more light. I did try using it for side lighting and it worked pretty well but it does put out a little bit of heat which was a little bit to much for me in that tent but if you had the ventilation I think it could work really well for building up your popcorn buds that don't get enough light from the top... but I absolutely don't think you would be very happy with just that light in bloom...:thedoubletake:...:circle-of-love:

Hey Dennise :)

Where's the bud? LoL

Well I was actually just getting around to posting up pics from 3 days ago so I will just put them on here......:circle-of-love:
