Lilred; maybe ask at a garden store or something.. I don't know much about neem, but frogs are very senstive... The fact that you have them is a great sign for your local environment, but it doesn't take much to drive them away or even kill them.. Try lightly spraying the very tops of the plants only, some will drift down to lower leaves, see if that works to get rid of the top-leaf-munchers and it might be too high to bother the frogs, who will look after the bugs for you????

That's my lucky tin... I've used it to pop my beans for 3 years now.... :thanks: for the info on the toads... We have toads but I never had a problem with them eating my girls...:thedoubletake: and I know they eat bugs... so that's gotta be a good thing.....:)....:circle-of-love:

OK Heir I found another one of those leaves starting to do the same thing... This one was up toward the top though so that worries me a bit more.... the 2 I took off her yesterday were in worse shape but not a whole lot.... I know it can't be the smoking around them thing cause I don't let anyone smoke in the house or around me in general... I don't know what is going on around here... The G13 was a beautiful tap root and she popped soil all happy looking and now she has half killed over... I don't know what is going on... The auto Skunk #1 bit the dust...:straightface:... however the Buzz Light Gear is starting to look just fine and growing her second set of leaves.... I put her in the tent under the Leds yesterday and she is taking to it just fine... All of them have just been in the baby soil that I have had an issue with so I dumped out the rest of that tote and mixed up a new batch... That had been through winter cold and the heat already this summer and IDK but maybe it was funky some how...:thedoubletake: Even fella is kinda freaking on the dead beans...:yikes: He asked me what I was doing different cause he has only known me to lose one bean before now and I seem to be on a roll... Hopefully the new soil will fix what ails em'... Anyhow here's the leaf off the Durban Poison in bloom....:circle-of-love:

That looks like the beginning of a Ca deficiency. The slight twist to to fingers makes me wonder if there isn't a PH issue. Is new growth twisting?

Another thought is fungus gnats. Are there any of those b'stards around? They'll make a plant look like it needs anything and/or everything.

I'm not sure what you're using for calcium. Gypsum is fast acting, readily available and doesn't mess with PH.

EDIT: Sorry it took half the day for me to wander back in here.
 
Thanks Heirloom but I don't think it is going to matter and yes as of this morning I do apparently have a gnat problem... I treated everything with Broke Ass's gnat spray but I don't think they were infested yet cause when I sprayed them they didn't fly all over the place .... I saw maybe 6 of them but I do know where there is one there are many however... I now need your help in ID'ing this bat rastard that I think is a male... I have never had one sex out like this one and I don't recognize what I am looking at... I see pistols but as of this morning... I think I see balls..:yikes: I will admit the rate at which that particular plant grew I thought it grew like a male all vigorous and stuff... Anyhow please take a look and tell me if you think this is a boy cause it grew balls over night so if that is the case I want it out of my tent immediately cause Bub's is in there and I damn sure know she's a she and doesn't identify as anything else...:thedoubletake:... Pistils AND balls? You have a true hermie unless something happened to the light routine. Did POM change the timer settings? LOL. And yes, I see the pods forming.

Back to the other one...durban? Have you consulted with PJ?

Get those gnats fixed. You might be seeing root damage from larvae showing up in the leaves. I would fix that before adding anything to fix a potential phantom deficiency.

That is the Durban and PJ is MIA... His mom has been pretty sick and he disappeared before not long ago for the same reasons and I'm kinda afraid that is where he is now... I forgot I had won the stuff from SNS and I will start treating all of them with that right now.... friggin bugs... and yes I have had a rough time this round with keeping temps stable and light getting in the tent due to a/c being out and not being able to zip up the tent due to heat issues and I put that big azz light in there so with the a/c out I had no choice but to leave it unzipped during the day and at lights out I just zip it up but I think I am going to have to take that big azz light out of there... it is so friggin hot here right now that I am running the central a/c as hard as it will go and the window unit stays on high and it is all it will do to keep it at 82-86... I think it would work great in the winter but between that and my power being out for half a day I recon that's what my issue is... I knew I was going to run into some problems the way I was having to do things for the time being but I didn't expect it to flip my girl... anyhow... Guess I need to get it out of there and I think dumping all that old baby soil was a good decision yesterday and I have a feeling that is going to be the root cause of a lot of my problems...ie. gnats... :thanks: Heir... Now to go clean up my mess and basically start over with everything other than Bub's and the Starbud in veg is doing well but now that you told me that about the twisted leaves being a product of the gnats I bet cha she has them too... I pinched off a swirly leaf off of there today too... SNS here I come.... :circle-of-love:

Oh honey I don't use MG anymore... I mix up my own soil from a recipe from a member named PeeJay... it is a living organic soil... I store it in my barn and it gets gnats in it out there and when I bring it in the house I usually go ahead and treat it but I didn't think to do it this time and I think I am now paying the price... I use ProMix HPCC as my base and add amendments to the soil... then during the grow for the most part I just add water....:circle-of-love:
 
OK I think I am going to change the light back out in the bloom tent so I can close the tent up and hopefully not have anything hermie on me... There is no doubt in my mind there have been numerous light breaches and that I am most likely the reason she is hermied and with that huge ass light in there I simply can't keep it cool enough in there right now to zip up the tent and lord knows I never remember to close it up on time... Anyhow I'm gonna either put a Mars II 400 or my reflector 144x5w back in there... Probably the reflector...:straightface:.....:circle-of-love:

I took a massive bolus of insulin and it didn't touch it and it is continue to rise...:thedoubletake: I'm without a doubt feeling like crap and guess who's home...:straightface: and guess where I'm going...:confused: He's outside right now smoking a cig trying not to yell at me... Needless to say I don't want to go but he is not giving me a choice.... Hopefully I will be back home soon but we all know the normal here and chances are I will be there a day or two... Guess I might just as well get up and go cause he will pick me up and throw me over his shoulder if I don't... That's quite an embarrassing way to present at a hospital...:thedoubletake:... Hope everyone has a blessed and green day... This sucks.....:circle-of-love:

D., I completely understand your not wanting to go to the hospital, but with a BS of 600 you need it. My thoughts and prayers are with you. :circle-of-love:
