I agree with LA, too much space for one little plant, especially an auto. My autos I grew this summer I only put in 3 gallon pots, and I think those where too big. g/f kept hers in 1 gallon and they turned out fine.

Also my understanding is that one of the benefits of the smart pots is being able to use smaller soil mass because the roots will air prune and branch more instead of just wrapping up around edges of pot.

Nice Job , The Girl looks good !

There is a big difference in 3 gallon than the 5....so much easier to handle and deal with,,, those 5 gallon one are just too big for me, they really hurt my back,,, I think I'm gonna start using 3 gallon from now on...I was told a foot per gallon,,,, A 5 foot tall plant - 5 gallon pot..
3 feet tall is fine with me , just grow more ..
I hope you can save the little thing :cheertwo:,,maybe step 3 will help.

GF amazes me with her knowledge, always interesting. :thumb:

Sunshine #4 is one of the quality soils that many cannabis growers use. I know it's not the same as ProMix HP because Doc Bud has had both tested and Sunshine has more potassium than ProMix, IIRC. It wasn't suitable for High Brix. Other than that, they're very similar.

It's good stuff. :thumb:

I have used Sunshine #4 as the main ingredient in my soiless mixture before I switched to Pro-Mix HP.

Here is my soiless mixture

I use peat moss, perlite, vermiculite and mycorrhizae and bacteria for my plants. I would mix your soiless mixture in a ratio of 60% peat moss, 20% perlite and 20% vermiculite. If you can get Pro-Mix HP you would only need to add 20% vermiculite and mycorrhizae. Vermiculite acts as a catalyst between nutrients and the plants roots as well as retaining moisture.

Pro-Mix HP has 1 species of mycorrhizae added, I add 10 others species of mycorrhizae and more of the strain already contained in Pro-Mix HP. When I transplant my plants to larger size pots I use 1 teaspoon per 1 gallon size pot and 2 teaspoons per 3-5 gallon size pot of additional mycorrhizae granules.

It's too late for me, I put them in the pots already with just the sunshine and growology ...
That is very useful information for the next time. Thank you.

I'm not sure she's worth it to be honest, as if in flower she ain't gonna get much bigger. Maybe the space is more valuable to another plant?
I am going to wait until the next watering and give her step 3 and see what happens and if there is no drastic change I will just pop another seed and start over...... I just have a real issue as you know of putting my girls down if there is still life...... Got plenty of meds so space is not a real issue right now. Now once the babies in the box come along she might just get booted out the door.....:circle-of-love:

All I have is the 5 gallon pots unless I use a plastic pot which I guess I can.......:circle-of-love:

King I just can't figure out which I need to use. I have been screwing up everything I touch and now feel like I have never grown anything before in my life. Even when I potted the last girl up I forgot to water her first and if she makes it after that transplant I will be surprised. Hope you don't mind me in your back yard again King :adore: cause I'm feeling kinda lost......:circle-of-love:

I have an update from last night I just forgot to put it up here. The AK fluxer was watered with 3 tsp Big Bloom, 2 tsp Grow big and 2 tsp Tiger Bloom and 1/4 tsp Open Sesame and 1 tbsp SNS203. She is starting to look better after being ignored by me for so long. She is putting on green foliage and even starting to throw just a little bit of sugar. I actually am beginning to believe she may well make it. It has rained so much here in the last few weeks that I had not been able to add many nutes cause she was so wet but it is starting to dry out and I think it is a good thing cause she was really looking deficient of something....... Pretty sure the mite problem I had a while back didn't help her much either but I haven't seen any movement on her since then so think the SNS is working well.......:circle-of-love:

Root Naturally Azomite Rock Dust - 2 Pounds
In Stock

Soil Mender Yum Yum Mix 5 lb

Espoma PR8 8-Quart Organic Perlite

This is what I ordered so if it is not right please correct me kinda quick so I can change the order but if it is correct I will have a bale of ProMix HP, 15 lbs of Red Bud Farms compost and 15 lbs of Red Bud Farms worm casting... also the 30 lbs of top soil that was said I would not need so if that is the case I will just throw it in my outside gardens..... Is this all I will need to mix up a good soil medium? I am really struggling with my footing right now and can't seem to get things back on the right track IMO. I want to try and get a medium back I like cause I really don't like just using the ProMix by itself but if it can be amended to be more like a soil I'm all over it so all your help is greatly appreciated..... I am also going to copy and paste this to Broke Ass jounal so either place you guys answer would be great...........:thanks:......:circle-of-love:

You are always welcome to ask any questions you have Dennise!

Found ya. Darn, I'm REAL late.
Wow! You're flux looks awesome. 300+ pages?! Gonna take me awhile to catch up, but you've come a LONG way D.
Did I see you're using Sunshine mix? Definitely headed in right direction. Ugh, autos. I've extensive experience with using creative profanity on them for wasting light & nutes.
I see King & LA are here. Maybe they can get us both straightened out on autos. I give them away at this point, but am still growing them for others who ask me to for some unknown reason.
