Dennise - No Longer The Newest Of Newbies - Not Growing In MG - Perpetual

You're welcome Dennise.

Don't stress the nanner.... It just means your plants are so pretty they decided to have sex with themselves ;)

At least that's what I tell people... lol

I put all the clones in the clone box and I think they will do better in there with the cfl's for a bit. The Growology girl is looking very happy in her growing medium with step number one mixed in. She has not needed watering since her replant but I need to find out if I start step 2 in the first watering or when she starts looking like she needs something. I will find out before her first watering. The top the dog ate is looking very healthy and has only been watered with purified water and is in a mixture of Fox Farms Ocean Forest and Happy Frog and perlite and is showing no signs of needing anything else yet and of course the tiny little SBR clone that I thought was not going to make it is looking better all the time and is in the same soil as the dog eaten top and of course has only been watered with distilled water....

The cabinet girls were also water today with 1 teaspoon Grow Big 3 teaspoons Big Bloom and 1 teaspoon molasses per gallon of distilled water. They look amazing as always and I so hope they stay that way...:phew:

The runt baby did not need watering today but even though she is in the tent she is still considered one of the group grow babies and will go in the closet when the cabinet group grow babies do and she is showing pistils now too so will be put in flower when the 2 from the cabinet are.....:circle-of-love:

first big plant you showed really doesn't want anymore food and your new girls are stacked! they should produce very well.

With input like that you better change your posting habits Spas.
Has anyone else heard of this taping technique or care to comment on it. It sounds reasonable.

In general, when working with asexual plants or other plant experiments we'd have some success using simple rubber cement. A drop large enough to engulf the sac. I do not know if this would work with cannabis, but with other plants I've used it on which produced large seed, this method worked. You can also use plain Elmer's glue. One caveat; it only works if you catch the sac before it pops open!

Dennise, may I make a suggestion? The runt is not actively growing very well and I suspect it does not have a very effective root system. When I have any plant with this situation and I want to save it, I cut way back on watering and when the top three inches of soil is really dry, I water out on the edges of the container to make the roots stretch out to get water. There will be enough capillary water in the soil for the roots to get enough while they develop more to reach the sides. Plants will look the same if over or under watered. They will be wilty, or crispy, yellow, stunted and not producing much in the growing tips where the "apical dominance" is. That is the hormone for stimulating the plant to grow and develop new tissue at the tips. I'm hope I am being useful not a pain here with my two cents. But I would cut back on the water on your runt if it is important to you.

Oh Garden the reason I call her the runt baby is because she was baked and almost died at a very young age and she was tiny. She is now in a 5 gallon pot and filling it out well and is throwing her sexiness all over the place. When I replanted her in the 5 gallon pot her root system was circled through out the pot she came out of. I guess I will not know for sure if she should be bigger until I pop another one of the seeds (I have several more of her) but I have been told that she is shorter and bushier than the other 2 strains I have growing in the cabinet. Please stop with the being a pain part too. I very much so appreciate your advice and experience. I use a meter to tell me when to water and she didn't get any today but honestly I wish you would look back thru the journal and see how tiny she was and you will see she has grown a million times what she was when the other 2 were big enough to flower if I had been in a hurry for them. She is the only one that made it out of there alive I think. I had not put the fans in the box yet and had a bunch of lights in there and she got fried and she was stunted for almost a month before she started to grow again so she has not had near the amount of nutes the others have had either. Actually hold on a minute and I will go find one. Be right back

Didn't have to hear it from any psych but nearly everyone who knows me says my way of thinking is so unorthodox I need help.

Per my last psych eval. Me too....:circle-of-love: Yep I hurt her bad and she is my little miracle baby and has come a long long way. I actually counted her sites and there are 11 limbs I think. Maybe not quite as big as her sisters but of course they are different strains too........

I must have been looking at the wrong photo because the one I saw had two or three sort of sets of stunted leaves. Maybe my crazy mind is seeing it somewhere else. I have encephalitis right now so who knows! My eyes and mind play tricks on me when I have a bout of enceph.
