Dennise Growing Under A Znet4 In Soilless Medium With Growology

:ciao: Fifi.

yeah me too. Colorado said same thing. he put into tech terms I understand. says all plants have male n female at start then one take over to make the dominate sex.

really interesting stuff. here is copy of it.

From ColoradoH
I'm going through this right now with the remaining 4 kids in my current grow and I've been closely monitoring the development of the pre-flowers and I've noticed something about how male stamens develop. First of all, both sexes start out as asexual nubs before becoming definitively male or female. Female calyxes, as they develop, are always smooth, quickly becoming teardrop shaped and, even when very tiny, quickly producing pistils. Male stamens, on the other hand, as they develop become slightly more round but most importantly, have a more typical flower bud-like appearance with multiple petals wrapping around the pollen sac. Of course, once they mature they develop noticable stalks and flowers but early on if you look very closely at stamens you can see multiple flower petals wrapped up like a tiny head of lettuce. That is the progression I've seen on the last 4 kids to sexually mature and early on. I had a feeling that I had at least 2 males based on my observations but as the other 2 kids have started to become mature, I'm seeing the same sort of development on them as well.

I do believe I have same thing going on here. I hope.

OH, looks like great~ harvest is coming, man :cheer:

Looking good up in there Fifi. I'm glad your other half didn't change our signature faucet yet.

Hawk, I'd have to say in my opinion I'm 90% sure that's a dude.

Yeah, I can't see a male flower yet, either. You will know soon enough. I would personally like to know where you bought these feminized seed so I never buy from them. If it happened two times, that is too much and I would never order from them, again.

I ordered my seed from Herbie's Seed in the UK. They were very nice and every seed germinated except one freebie. I plan my next order to be from Dennise's bank, which is not a sponsor, but look at her grows!!!!!!! Seed is very important.

The Original Sensible Seed Co present - World of Seeds Pure Origin Collection Wild Thailand

World of Seeds Wild Thailand is a pure landrace coming from the islands of Ko Chang (Thailand). Wild Thailand is one of the varieties with the highest content in THC of the world. It is loved by Thailand croppers who take it to Bangkok affording the hardest law of this country. Wild Thailand is one of the varieties more productive in Thailand, maybe because of being one genetic variant produced by those expert croppers, because of it, it has a relatively short harvesting time. It's smell and flavour will show you Asia, and it's effects will take you to the mysterious temples of Bangkok. Cannabis seeds can be planted indoors (less than 1,5m high), outdoors or in your greenhouse (up to 3m high). The growing time indoors is 1-2 weeks. Then you can enjoy harvesting the aromatic, sugary, aminoacids and cannabinoids marijuana buds for 75-80 days. If you are an outside farmer, these cannabis seeds will surprise you late November. As Wild Thailand came from a country with quite a mild climate, it's cannabis seeds are highly resistant to mushrooms and plague (depending on the plague). Irrigation tolerance is high. Yield is 350gr/m2 indoor and 450-500gr/m2 outdoor.

If I may, that plant looks mature, and female....unless I am seeing it wrongly. Staggered nodes indicates a change to maturity, where the nodes are not in symmetry...and that looks like a pistil, without much of a calyx yet, at the node junction....am I seeing it wrong?

I 'drew' on the pic below...

I believe you are looking at a stipule

:passitleft: High everybody. I have a bit of an update on the wild Thai. She is 65 days in flower and was watered today with plain purified water. I am starting to see a few ambers and most have turned cloudy but still has a few clear. I am hoping about another week so am starting to flush with just water.......:circle-of-love:

As a matter of fact, I was admiring the trich density on those buds - mighty nice! :circle-of-love:

Without checking trichs, I'd say it's ready now or in a couple weeks. If you have the time and space, I'd just let 'er run awhile. She's still producing nice creamy pistils, and she might be able to swell up her calyxes.

It's nice having plenty of good smoke onhand, so you're not in a hurry for the produce. :cheesygrinsmiley: My advice is to wait and watch. But if she stops or slows her pistil production without swelling, stick a fork in 'er. :laughtwo:
