With plants like yours, we're proud to have you wear it!
Thanks for noticing, gf - that was a deliberate decision for exactly that reason. We wanted to lose the frat boy imagery and convey a sense that we take this stuff seriously while still having packages that are attractive and not boring. Fortunately, one of my closest friends is an amazing graphic designer and he got what we were after immediately. Nice when someone notices.I really do like your packaging. It is not like most of the cartoon labels which aggravate me to no end.
Raising my juice in a toast for your continued success! (go organic...do it, do it, do it! hahaha).

High Chin... The number one mistake for newbies is to over water. If you do give to much water the root system will not be as good as the roots will not have to look for water they will just grow straight down in the pot instead of circling the pot and forming a good root structure. So with all that crap being said I let the medium dry out on the top couple of inches then water slowly till you see the first bit of run off. I was just over looking at your new babies... Congrats........
thank you Garden.....Dennise said: So with all that crap being said I let the medium dry out on the top couple of inches then water slowly till you see the first bit of run off.
This is the proper way to water. Not a schedule, but when the plant needs it. Exactly how Dennise said to do, let the soil dry out a bit before watering it again. Plants don't have a schedule, usually. Air temps, humidity, and many other factors play into how one would water their particular plants. It's better to under water than over water. Hands down.
Yes Ma'am....Even seedlings?
I don't know what the big words mean but over watering a seedling is the number 1 mistake of new growers Chin.... If you will pick up your pot, even the little ones and get use to how they feel after watering and then how light they are when they are needing watering you will soon be able to tell just by picking up the pot but as stated before stick your finger in the soil and make sure the top inch or 2 are dry. They sell a soil moisture meter at Blowes or Wally world for about $10. I don't advise completely depending on it but it can help confirm your thoughts on if it needs to be watered. I use one to just make sure I am thinking right but I don't solely depend on it. Then I water till I see the first bit of run off.....Hope any of this makes sense......A seedling is a plant, so yes. You can over water seedlings and create the conditions for Rhizoctonia.
I still think she has a while to go Spimp. She is about 52 days in bloom and I bet she has at least 3 more weeks. I just checked her trichs and they are still all clear.... Please pop over to my other journal and see if you can answer that question. Freaking here.....
I can't wait til that girl starts swelling up some more. She is gonna be some nice smoke. How far out from chop are ya?
Damp off is Rhizoctonia.
It is when the stem on the seedling caves and the seedling dies. It is a fungal disease which can be expedited by over watering early in growing.
