Delps8 DWC Original Glue

Day 90, week 12.6, flower week 7.1

Seeing a pattern - 250-300ml water in tent dehu, 1.2-1.8 gallons of RO in the res. Light check (I took readings today), shut off the R80's and move the sensor out of the way, take pictures, put the sensor back where it belongs (a really good idea), turn on "DeepRed", shut the tent.

The buds have grown a bit and I've dropped the wattage on the Growcraft from 170 to 163 watts. That was just enough to get PPFD down from 1100'ish to 1050'ish. They're going fine at 1050 and I don't have to fiddle with them.

Temps in the garage has been 73-78 with the heater keeping the tent at 77 during lights out and then it goes up to right at 82 during the day. RH is <55 and RH in the canopy is <60. Bud temps range from 71 to 75.

A huge funk hit me as soon as I stepped in the garage at 1500 yesterday. Still strong today. Getting more orange in the buds but not that many leaves are senescing. I don't think any of Erica's leaves are changing and I've removed all of the larf quality buds from Donna so there's plenty of air moving around under both plants.

I've added just RO for the past few days and PPM is down to 630/500. Time to make up a 4 gallon batch of 2x strength nutes that I use when I need to add nutrients.

Over the past half dozen grows (±), I've gone with RO only for topping off but decided to go with nutrient solution add back for this run. That approach is a lot easier and, if it's caused any issues, I sure can't find them. I did have some tip burn a couple of weeks back when VPD was hitting 2.x late in the afternoon and tip burn is not unexpected under those conditions. I also had something funky going on with a few of the leaves at some time in early veg but, overall, nothing of significance. All in all, using RO + nutrient solution is a really simple process and has worked well for this grow.

pH has been sitting at 6.0 and the doser hasn't run in a few days. I do get some pH drop when I add nutrients, followed by slowly rising pH for a few days after that.

Now that we're at day 90, that's about three weeks until chop for Donna but no idea about Erica. She's off in her corner doing whatever and I'll see how things look when Donna is ready. Once Donna is done, I won't be too keen on waiting for Erica to finish. I've got to get my Spring 2025 grow started early enough in the year to make sure I get things harvested before thrip season.

More orange in the buds and some of them will be pretty large. I don't think they'll look like my gelato autoflower grow but it's still be a good harvest.

To make more room for Donna, I cut off the branches on the left side of Erica. Did that cause her to stop vertical growth?
