Hydro shop or online. Google.

Re: Outdoor grow BPN

looks to me like something has had a munch on your plant, have a good check under all leaves and you may find it, if not then its all ready moved on and might not come back.

as for the tie down, this is a great idea, i do it myself, i tie all the leaves out the way that are blocking lower branches, i also use pipe cleaners to pull branches one way or the other so it dont block anything else from getting light, what i try and do is make sure that all the nodes on new branches are not been blocked by a leaf or a branch, i have found this promotes new growth a lot quicker and it has bushed my plant up a lot, i keep pulling the lower branches down so that they are running out in a strait line from the plant, this stops that branch growing upwards but i also gets the growth at the nodes growing strait up instead of the branch growing upwards, this should increase yield, i hope anyways

Re: Outdoor grow BPN

nomnomnom - too bad their eating your plant - Still healthy and vibrant looking :) Great LST work - do you have any plans on how you want to keep LST'ing? Like for instance a circle around the pot. If you want once you reach the edge, top it. Let it divide and have one top go left and one top go right and complete the whole pot :) Cool stuff bro hope you figure out the bug problem.

A great organic way to help prevent bugs is to companion plant. Plant some Herbs/Greens/Flowers that naturally repel or attract other things to help protect. Lots work, but I use Cilantro / Basil. Plant it in there or put it in a cup and then put it in there. Or just have a pot nearby works too. Peace bro!

Re: Outdoor grow BPN

WHAT CAN I GET TO PREVENT THIIS?!?!?!? i need something specifically for caterpillars or something IDK AHHHHHHH

If you can get some Azamax or Azatrol from a hydro store I would highly recommend that. It is neem based and controls a wide variety of pests, and can be applied as a foliar spray and/or soil Drench. That means you can add it to your feed a few weeks into flower and it will build up in the stems killing pests when they bite your plant. Or if you are in Veg and/or can't wait for the soil drench to kill the pests then you can mix up a foliar spray to apply on the leaves. They both cost around $20-25

If you really can't get any Azamax/Azatrol then Home depot carries a product called Thuricide BT Caterpillar & Worm control. It is a white bottle with a green and yellow label, it cost around $10 and works very well. However it doesn't cover the wide variety of pests like Azamax/Azatrol does.

Other helpful info from the site

AzaMax is a highly effective pest control method designed to decimate pest populations. It is made from completely organic active ingredients, specifically one, potent, bio-compound found in Neem oil. AzaMax contains Azadirachtin A&B and more than 100 limonoids.

It does not use hard chemical solvents and fully uses food grade formulation ingredients.
AzaMax is the only smell-free product and does not freeze during cold weather.
AzaMax does not require any surfactants or sticking agents.
AzaMax is OMRI listed and licensed in all 50 states.
AzaMax is so safe and free of residue it can be applied on the day of harvest

AzaMax targets spidermites, thrips, fungus gnats, aphids, whiteflies and many other airborne and soil borne pests. AzaMax is an antifeedant and insect growth regulator and it controls pests through starvation and growth disruption. It also is a good systemic product that plants can easily uptake through roots for efficient control of sucking, mining and leaf eating pests, a rare feature among biological or biochemical pesticides.

At the first sight of pests, use AzaMax as a foliar spray or combine the spray with systemic applications per the labels directions. Adjust the rate of AzaMax and the frequency of spray intervals to the intensity of the infestation and the density of your canopy. With the tempratures in my room, spider mites can hatch every three days. So if I get infested spraying happens every other day for 1 week. I really can’t say enough good things about this product, but I want to repeat my favorite thing about AzaMax: It’s is OMRI listed and licensed in all 50 states.
