The week that was, a catch up..

Harvests

In the jar/vape/press already, and a little half ounce hulklato just snipped into a jar today.

She was only in a 4 litre pot so she did ok.

A promotion

Clones

This is a space saving life hack gleaned from @InTheShed where multiple cuts are propagated in single cups until they root.

I’ll be doing this again!
Some of these will be sacrificed on the altar of science and be put to GA3 trials. I’ve finally excluded the Candida trial from the flower room now as s/he is an amorphous mess.
I’ll mix what I have left to an approximate 100ppm and try again next week.

Meds

I started with a box of dried fan leaves which, when rubbed down, took 2.5 cups of oil to cover. This was the base for a THC oil.
I also took a large jar of Candida trim which took 1.5 cups of oil.

These were infused twice without decarboxylation then filtered.

Then 1.5 oz of CBD trim with lots of loose, small and larfy flower was decarbed.
Into the THC juice went decarbed trim and spent rosin pucks with added AVB for a total of 6.5 oz. (26.5g of AVB collected over six weeks. There has been rosin and joints apart from this, but if you had told me before I got this dynavap that I wouldn’t use an ounce in six weeks you would have had some explaining to do!)

This was infused three times then filtered.

Some got set aside for fortification.

Decarbed and done.

I separated ½ a cup of the THC oil yesterday and added ½ a tablespoon of lecithin to it.
A capsule tonight as a tester .. is doing alright so far :thumb:

Next harvests

These two will come out tomorrow. The CPK anyway. Maybe we’ll spread things out, I haven’t checked with @Sugarleaf to see what we have planned.

They both had rescue drinks tonight after a resin enhancing last minute drought.

They have to come out to make way for Bubba’s Sis. They’re both ready, but the CPK slightly more so.

Thanks for looking in. :love::peace:
Take care.
:meatballs:

...made your hands smell great!
That too!
I especially like the potions section :yummy:
Ok then. Since I’m back with a correction to the amounts given above I’ll post a few more details up.
As I mentioned to Sy off thread, I found the crib notes I made while preparing the potions.

Bubba's Sis :tommy:

I think we can bring out the whole band! :theband::tommy: And yes, there are two drummers in the band because of the Grateful Dead connection with the Chem.

Here she was on flip day Friday:

She was 23” tall when she went in. The shortest in the flower room by a stretch, but likely to punch above her weight.

These two came out:

I was leaving the lowers on for a while to see what the penetration was like with the new light. I’m stripping the lowers again.
I only harvested the top half of this plant. The lower half is in the garage under a skylight and destined for an extraction of some kind some time (either as rosin or an infusion).

This plant is from the only cut I’ve had to root in a glass of water.

The tops are nice.

And another one of these tasty trees.

This was our 40th plant harvested.

That leaves only eight in the bloom room now:

Another look at this one now she’s finished her stretch:

And the bloom room..

40 down and many many more! Congrats on another beauty.

I saw that pic and was about to comment but you said it anyway. With that many plants in there even the greatest light won't make it down below the canopy, so stripping the bottom to move the hormones up is a great idea!

CPK looking good
Cheers Penny. It’s a nice wee puff, but it isn’t pain meds.
Sooo I excited for Katsu’s Bubba’s Sis now.
Not to mention the GZ, that almost went unmentioned.

And thanks again for your help getting here, m8!
I hope I’m still here posting pix of my 420th plant some time :green_heart:

Great updates DD, you've really got your fingers in a number of pies with everything you are doing, truely great stuff!
I am impressed with everything, but your bunch of cuttings you cloned in soil are especially inspiring after my recent waste of a good Godfather OG cutting that I failed to get to root. Loved the frosty look of the Alaskan purple. And I can't wait to see how the Bubba Sis looks when she in full bloom and how you find her in the smoke report when it comes.
But again great work on your garden efforts, you're really doing a top job. :snowboating:

I definitely need to try this next time. Everything looks awesome. Looking at those pics just helped reduce an anxiety attack I'm having. Cheers. Ha ha. Feel better now.
:love::high-five::thanks:
You guys make my days sometimes too.
Thank you, Vet for keeping it real!

Gardening as an anxiolytic:
The clone army marches on..
A lot of new shoes have been given to the girls in the last couple of days.

When this one got too tall for the tent I supercropped her three main stems quite low and tied them under each other like the crown knot in a backsplice (hemp ropecraft reference there).

The Bubba’s Sis has some of the most robust and vigorous roots I’ve seen. Hats off to @katsubluebird

These are all a much better green than these pics. Just btw.

And these were some of the cuts-in-cups I separated the other day. They had thick roots hanging from their little pockets already.

In the background there is the bottom of last week’s CPK harvest along with the now flowering Alaskan purple, Hulklato and Isabelles. They are in natural light under a skylight in the garage.

These are back in the veg tent.

Which, as you can see still has tons of room.

Meanwhile, the girls in the flower room are not exactly letting the grass grow underneath them either.

Thanks for looking in, folks. I hope your gardens are all healthy and gorgeous and beautiful places to spend time.
