DD Stable Of Impermanence

I have CBG (auto) seeds on the way, and I know you can buy it as flower. Looking forward to seeing how it smokes.
It’s worth a read seeing how CBG touches some of the cannabinoid receptors that normal pot rarely touch, kind of like CBD but even further. Most pot contains little or none as it occurs at a very early stage in the plant’s life. For me that means sort of feeling something new again, which is refreshing at my stage of life.
WSE had a single CBG strain from sale, but in the last few weeks it has been removed from their site. Can I ask which strain & seedbank you sourced your seeds from?

Our sponsor @OregonHempFlower has CBG flower (currently out of stock on smaller amounts) and the isolate. And the seeds come from a bank that used to be a sponsor here but I can no longer name them. I can tell you they have incredibly long shipping times so it may be better to go another route.

Interesting. I have a freshly harvested Panama and while its not high in CBG, at about 2-3%, its still very high for a ‘THC‘ strain and it’s CBG content was part fo the attraction for me. It is a super relaxing toke, which is quite lovely in a sativa. Makes it floaty and easy to meditate or sleep if that’s what you feel like, but it’s not at all sedative and has no body stone - just physical relaxation which I am thinking is maybe partially attributable to the CBG - esp. after reading your thoughts about its effects, 13.

CBG, for the nerds among us, is actually the parent cannabinoid of all the others (the mother of all cannabinoids!). The plant produces only CBG - and then methylation processes transform that into all the other cannabinoids. It is because a certain recessive gene can halt or retard that conversion process and leave some amount of CBG in the final mix. Up until recently 2-3% CBG was the highest you would see written about. Now it’s clear folks have been working to stabilise that and produce higher CBG chemovars (maybe by mixing with hemp as well, it can commonly have higher CBG apparently). Seedsman have released a version (called CBG#1) that they claim is 16%. It’s exciting it’s now so available on it’s own! I know a couple of folks here have some seed and might be growing it soon.

Hi donk! N all :ciao:

can no longer
I’m pretty sure we can still name them, just not promote or link to :) (I’m pretty sure).

I have those CBG#1 (in autoflower) on the way, but they just finally shipped. Looking forward to seeing what @carcass and I can do with them.

Actually I am wrong, and 13goody is right :thumb:
Then I am wrong too if that's the case, but I was going on a reply by Teddy Edwards that he made earlier this month on another thread when someone similarly felt they couldn't mention a non sponsor strain. I thought he stated it very well.

Just so you're clear, non-sponsor seed banks can be mentioned for reference purposes e.g. "These are X strain from Y seed bank".

What you can't do is link to them or promote them (such as "Y are the greatest seed bank ever", or repeated mentions, which will stray into promotion territory).

Of course we have to protect our sponsors from shills, spammers and sock puppets, but we don't want to be censorship Nazis and shut down valid information sharing.

Yes, I do believe it's about how one frames the reference

Bubba’s Breath didn’t make it. Aue! It was emotional.

I tried other languages, but still don’t have the vocabulary. Luckily, I don’t feel like talking about it. But dammit. Just.. dammit.

When she’s big enough I’ll start with the bendy wires.

I started with the bendy wires.

Hi DD, so you are saying that you found sublingual drops were more efficient without lecithin? I was always under the impression that lecithin improved edibles. I just wanted to ask to clarify so I can store that snippet of information until needed.

It may be just the new potency I have made my donkey drops, but yes. I’m saying that without lecithin under the tongue I have a more noticeable effect.
Like Shed said, different oils for different parts of the machine. We’re writing the SOP’s for the lubrication schedule. I’m most definitely adding the lecithin to the oil which goes into capsules.

The whole use of pure CBD products is new to me. Most of the stuff I got was always 50/50 with THC or some weird ratio that didn’t work right for me. I prefer my medicinal pot to be all medicinal. I can add the Wedding Cake indica flavor later if I want lol.
So CBG is very new to me. I like the taste and the smoke. The effects I believe have just maximized the CBD experience of some decent pain relief, relief from anxiety, and of course sleep which is like gold to me. It also seems to increase appetite which I don’t really need ;)

Fascinating, mate. I’m new to CBD as a therapeutic agent too. Like you I prefer to control my own blends when smoking.
I’m encouraged that your wedding cake is your go-to for a THC load. I have a cross going in to flower this week. I hope even more that (s)he is a she now!
I just had roots show on a DrS.CBD30:1 cut today, so she gets to go into the flower room too. (I’ve been adding her to joints all day I love this plant!)
I need the floor space in veg that’s for sure.

Good info on the whakapapa of the cannabinoids. CBG is the new black? It’s exciting to be at this point just as the future is arriving.
Your Panama

Gee gee = CBG#1 from Seedman, this pic is a week or so ago. She has shown a little
variegation

:woohoo:  :cheer:

Good to see! :thanks:

IKR?!

And, on muddling on...

She is under a misted, cracked dome behind the diffusion screen. What’s the best that can happen?

Also, a wee look at the C99xBlueberry after twelve days of 12/12. Looking almost cubelike.

Here she is back left. Candida mid right. Both at budset now.

Weights in on these two now.

Not heavy like this, sure but a few ounces of primo get up and go. Holding things together for now. Putting short plants through has been a function of poor veg lighting til now, and an exercise in planning too to time things as best I could. It’s coming together.

And the next examples of each of these are already coming on..

Coming along. Getting it done. Thank you all for your incredible help along the way.

There’s always room for more and two more will be squeezed in here in another couple of days.

Thanks for coming by :ciao:

:love::smokin2:

That mylar! I might have to put some up in the living room to double my living space :).

The next versions are snow-covered, and the ones that came down may neither be evil nor regretful, but they sure do look lovely all piled together.

My kids were listening to that in middle school and we all memorized it! Every so often someone would toss one of those words into a sentence just for a laugh. :thanks: for the memories!

The Stable

Eleven

Heaps of room in there.
A DrS.CBD30:1 and our Wedding Cake x Cheap Trick were put in here today. Bright white roots already hanging from the pots after transplants not a week ago. Clones of each coming on. No point waiting around.

I thought it would make much more room in the veg tent than it did. I might need to put the 40W  back in there.

Here’s a couple of pictures I liked.

Cheers :ciao:
Bringing on the meds. :peace::love:

Hey 420 I hope everyone’s weekend was a good one.
Got a couple of quickies for you.
First up, this little fella turned up in the garden while I was getting a few jobs done outside.

You used to see heaps more of them. I can’t remember when I last saw one of the really big ones.

Two days later the WCxCT already hanging from the bottom of her new pot. Hopefully her.

Bubba’s Sis

She’s been touch and go too.

I ended up cutting off the cotyledon that had gone a bit manky and was stopping it opening.

Where there’s green there’s hope, right @13goody13?

Another fluffy.
