DD Stable Of Impermanence

I  my press.

I had 3oz of jar stock left from our last harvest.
So squished 15g.

For 1.9g of fruity, sticky goodness.

Very tasty it is, too. @Sugarleaf just put down her regular joint when I walked in the room with some rosin-rolled doobs.
It definitely gives joints a lift so you don’t smoke as many. Must be healthier
:smokin2:
Meanwhile. AP2. So far, so good. Guttating.

Covid: 200 000 people have recovered, but 52 000 have died.
Don’t get it.
Don’t go out.
Stay at home.

Dude your so lucky

Dude your so lucky
Lucky to have friends like you, Joe! The pressing only started to get successful after you sent me the right bags.
It’s frustrating to see you there with a nearly complete press. If I ever get back to work I’ll be asking you to measure up the mounts for your platen and sending you something. I’d be casting about for a solid gap in something the right size. If I had the chassis of an old car in my yard, for example, I’d use some bricks for spacers and run an extension cord out there. Maybe find a bit of I beam or railway track to span a couple of joists under your house and try (not) to lift your house!
And thank you for your continued efforts on the care pack front :high-five: It confuses me sometimes to get help I’m just so not used to it.
mate your killing me here. I didn't realise it was as usable in J's . that one you took pic of looked such a mouth watering example too. Been my excuse for not dabbling too. would miss smoking joints.!!! haha no excuse now not to look into going that route. realising how shit my lungs are now and how much I possibly waste with poor absorbtion and smoking it like cigs could also explain why I dont get the heavy hit that often from weeds I grow. I get my tolerance after so long must be silly. never done an intended weed break as eventually finding some stops dead !! A nice rosin paper could sort that !!. damn , now working out how to use next harvest could finance it now.lol. Damn you Donkey. corrupted to the core !
As for you, buddy, you gotta watch the company you keep! :laughtwo:
You’ve been teetering on the edge of the press purchase for a bit now, gigiddy. I’m happy to play my part in nudging you over the line.
I’d never tried rosin before I bought the press. It just seemed like such a good idea, like ‘why didn’t I think of that?!’ As someone who likes to get stoned I’m sure you’ll appreciate the benefits. You don’t need a fancy dab rig (although they look fun). I can get out the camp cooker and spot with the knives, but it’s kind of a p.i.t.a. If I want to really do it to myself I can drop a couple of caps and smoke one of these sticky j’s while I wait.
Aspirational (deliberate pun) is a dynavap doohickey which will vape either dry herb or rosin. For respiratory respite.
I just noticed we just passed five years without tobacco. (High five’s self to maintain social distancing. :high-five: Falls on face. He’s a donkey. What was he thinking?!)

WOW DD Be proud of that indeed mate. i cant manage a few months.... certainly grabbing my interest as the lungs do rob me of good thc i think.

Haha lift the house .
.we got insurance on it , just how to explain that one .

I sent you more micron screen 140 bags bud. Trying to save a few for when I get a welder to assemble a frame and out together for me.

Man my back and neck have been bad man. And worse thing is now no physio or massage therapy as everything is closed til further notice. The pain and discomfort has been so unbearable to live in my own skin . I hide it well though.

Shatter makes me forget the pain off a bit helps me sleep and stone my body .

I got some decent hash I picked up from online place be dipping into a gram of that tonight. Be safe donkey love from Canada bro.

wow these look so nice DD. Hulklato is a big girl. thought she might get leggy but the colas are whole length too. great job on a maiden Voyage mate. will be great to see what you do with the babies from her too. This girl needs some serious heavy handedness.lol
cbd are looking nice a frosty too. cant imagine no stone from all the dusty frost.

Cheers for the ups GG. I’m pretty excited about the Hulklato too. She’s just gone 60 days and getting into her stride. A few more weeks for her probably. She’ll have the place to herself soon if I don’t move anyone in from veg. My neighbour kindly passed a bucket of paint over the fence to me so I might get in there and finish the trims and throw a bit of paint around. Not tonight though.
The CPK is the frosty one, GG and she’s still standing. She isn’t the CBD one. The CBD one is in the fridge it got the chop. Harvest day was day 60 for her.
There wasn’t any fanfare because the decision to go was sudden.
I didn’t want any amber so I’ll pull the plug on the next DrS before day 60. Follow the link ^ for trich pics.

And I lost a bit of the yield to rot, but you know that from following the link ;)
I’ll save you from the yucky photos of that. Bar one. While I think of it I’ve never seen anyone post a picture of budrot up close and personal. So, for science..

In focus, the trichomes have gone all runny.

8 wet ounces went into the fridge and I measured over 60g of discarded material so just over a fifth was lost. A minor tragedy in the scheme of things.

All that aside we had a couple of smokes of her testers which were dry last night (I knew she was close, see). Interesting! You feel it in your body and you wait for what feels like is going to be a real doozy, but the hammer never hits. Now I want to try some more but it will be a couple of weeks.

Stay safe, growmies

dayum. missed that bit DD. budrot is a butch as it's so hard to spot most times as it stars in stem. sounds crazy but a 20% milk to water spray as they get fat will kill bud rot before it has a chance to start. it doesnt leave a smell or taste either but kills the spore on contact. a good preventative measure for dense colas. watching the inner bud melt as you find it is horrible and very unpleasant to work with too yucky shit. Glad that seeing the crystal thc has not been a wasted drool !!!. thought it was odd that the cbd still looked frosty!!!. doh. hope the remainder is dank , healthy meds.
has to be a wow on the Hulklato too. you have done her proud mate. it has to be the bg41 that pushes the length as the girl I have is similar in wanting to go taller but the gorilla zkittelz are a more squat thin stemmed affair like the GG#4 I have growing. The FGS is way chunkier than the usual Gorilla strains so has to be the BG41 dominance

Hiya GG. Great idea on the preventative! Safe to say future runs of DrS - or anything with big, hard nugs - will be sprayed with the milk and water mixture.
I’ve also been reading again about LABS for this, so will be making some of that for next time too.
Recognising this problem and knowing what to do about it now just made me a better gardener.
I’ve had the others out and been over them with a fine tooth comb, separating and opening each cola to have a look behind and make sure nothing runny is happening.
CPK will get the chop today/tomorrow anyway, most likely. Will double check her trichomes haven’t gone glassy again, but I’m thinking she is done.
Here is the canopy in the bloom room now, about to change again.

The Hulklato was 11” taller than the CPK before the CPK got heavy tops. The CPK is on a 6” riser. You wouldn’t think it looking at this though.
This is the floppy Critical Purple Kush on day 61 and some of her heavy spearheads.

The Hulklato flowers are swelling most generously. You’ll have to take my word for it for now (I can’t open the garden at night now because of skylights in the garage roof. I’ll have to construct a sally port at some point. Meh) I did take a photo of her latest victim.

To keep her company next I’ll put the last Isabelle Red in to flower along with the reveg. Thinking about Shed’s suggestion of placing a piece of paper over a cup as a light diffuser led to a net curtain. Cheers, Shed.

Speaking of coming on, thanks for coming on down to the Stable tonight.
Be safe, be well, be kind if you can.

Always a pleasure to see the grow going so well with you mate. Love the top heavy pics. bendingnisbalways a great indicator of the thc pumping through there too. going to be fun wirt the trimmers soon mate. still loving the lockdown here. been nice weather to sit out in the garden too. Be safe mate

Beautiful, just beautiful DD! :ciao: Those are some beauties there! I see these awesome plants that you guys have put so much into and I just hope I can get there. Outside with the sun is easy but this indoor stuff is a little more needy. Have a great, stoned day!:yummy::yahoo::peace:

Plants are looking fantastic DD! I especially liked the pics of preparing for an enhanced rolling of a joint, wow, a really tasty look. And seeing all your paper bags of buds doing a long and slow in the fridge looks well organized. Great stuff! :thumb:

You’ve got a nice busy garden, going to be some nice smoke here very soon.
Cheers, Penny. Knowing yours is one of the hands on the wheel helps to keep things moving in the right direction. :ganjamon: In nearly forty years of cannabis consumption there were only one or two stand-outs that we’re not home grown. Needless to say that since joining 420Mag the quality of garden produce has exceeded expectations.

:high-five: , whoops I mean :ciao: my brather from anarther father. Very excited, as you say, to see the BlueGelato41 traits coming through with the FGS and Hulklato too. As you know, it was a damascan moment for me the first time I saw bg41 in a garden on 420mag was about the angriest I’ve ever been with our retarded prohibition.
Also, the first time I had a really good Blueberry was one of the couple of exceptional stashes I just mentioned to Penny. I’ve read bg41 or hulkberry described as ‘super blueberry’ (probably the hulkberry, yeah?). And despite spending a small fortune I never got another ounce from that source as good as the first. I now put that down to the cure.
So on one hand, truly great genetics (on not in ty), on one of the other hands (Gaspode ;) ) I now know how to dry and cure it right and have had a bit of practice too. Tū meke, as they say.

Hi Fred welcome to the Stable Of incontinence ignorance impermanence!
Thank you for your compliments.
I hope you’re reading enough on these threads to assuage any doubts you might have on your indoor garden. These journals have lifted me from incontinence and ignorance to a state of semi (no, GG not that. I was gonna say..) perpetual.
See, coming round and randomly just telling people to have a great, stoned day like that. You know what? That’s just the kind of leadership we are looking for around here. You have a great and stoned day too please, sir.
Plants are looking fantastic DD! I especially liked the pics of preparing for an enhanced rolling of a joint, wow, a really tasty look. And seeing all your paper bags of buds doing a long and slow in the fridge looks well organized. Great stuff! :thumb:
Cheers Koro. If you are ever on a tiki tour round this way I’ll happily roll a few of these with you. Somewhere on the other side of this..
The wire racks are the product of countless op shop excursions. The fridge smells awesome! The smell brought to mind for me a couple of awkward instances after our last harvest when it was tricky to offer visitors cups of tea. With a guilty pang I almost thought I’d found a silver lining to this pandemic. Of course we don’t want the virus. Of course we want visitors.
Once again prohibition would make a donkey, I mean an ass of me.
Vive la better world.
Let’s be in it.
Stay safe.
