DD Stable Of Impermanence

Looking good let’s hope the new room is on point.
Hi Penny. Yep. Fingers crossed if you’ve got’em. I don’t have the luxury now of lots of fine tuning. Hoping for the best.
Great job on the new space! Is that spray-wool foam?
L.A. Sheesh you guys have aerosol everything over there.
My insulation was this.

I had to do a donkey double-take yesterday. A xmas card appeared in the letter box. Oh? You say. A xmas card? But it is the beginning of March, how curious.
That's unbelievably slow, I wonder what the explanation is for that, fell off the conveyor belt and it wasn't put back till months later?
Nice to see your growing bean inventory, it will be interesting to see how you find the different strains.:yummy:

here's a Bush Baby right there
bb.png

they tend to hangout in African countries, have similar cute n cuddley little things here, sort of half Rat half Possum?
*when i googled Bush Babies the above came up in the search, possibly Lorikeets are called the same but ive never heard it?

These are the bush babies I know, haven't seen many in South Africa but their thieving somewhere down the line cousins ( vervet monkey ) abound in profusion once you head into the hills.

The deed is done.
This was the smile on their collective face when I switched the light on today.
They’ve had a feed since the pix and look even more betterer. Compared to how limp they were when they were installed, I think it’s safe to say they like their new house!

I couldn’t get far enough away from the tent in the roof space for a shot like this. I think it’s cool.
The panel on the right side is where I’ve created my light baffle for the air intake.
The veg tent is there now, beside the room.
Awesome to see an extra three feet of headroom straight away.
I had the HPS cable-tied to the rail in the tent and the Hulklato was 8-10” away. Now that I’ve levelled the canopy I have the light 24” up. This to minimise risk of anything untoward over the next couple of days. I’ve had the exhaust running at low speed all afternoon and it isn’t too loud. At the moment the canopy is 23*C, a full 10*C lower than the average of the last three weeks.

It looks great DD, well done! I guess you'll line the walls at some point with something reflective (not that I know anyway about indoor setups!). It's good you got the extra height to keep it cooler and grow 'em higher if you want. Looking forward to seeing the next extension! :hookah:

I favour the albatross’ nesting material in breeding season theory. Who knows. One day someone will switch on a GPS tracker before posting to Godzone. Trouble is, to get to this longitude in the roaring forties also takes you back in time twenty years. Figure that out, Einstein! :nerd-with-glasses: Albatrosses. (I can either know my name or where I’m going in life, but not both things at the same time).;) I, too am keen to try everything here. All in good times.:p

Stunger might correct me, but apart from a couple of bats the only mammals here are us and the ones we brought with us, geniuses we are.
Those monkeys look cute af, but maybe not at 4am when you can’t find your car keys and there’s an open window and you gotta get to work... too early for me for a swerve like that. :surf:
I worked with a SA fella who could make all the animal noises he’d ever heard. Sometimes all at once. Funny guy.
I take my hat off to you reading back through the start of this journal, especially. I was very unwell when this began I could hardly catch my breath. Thanks to everyone who persevered! Hopefully we are getting more readable as we go.

I was just going to paint the walls and ceiling white. We need paint anyway for other things and by all accounts should be fine. I understand a matt finish will reflect more light than heat, and more heat is reflected by gloss paint. We’re just coming in to our hottest couple of months, so let’s see if I have to make the ‘final’ decision more than once.
On the ‘next extension’ :high-five: You know me well enough, Koro.:)
My plan for this involves @Sugarleaf journalling a grow of her own. I’m dead set grow creep, like other aspects of this hobby too, will grab her.
We’ve been waiting to see whether the blue hammer would make it from our taniwha* in the sky in Hawaii for her to get going. I’ll let her speak to that one in her own time.
*taniwha in this context might mean guardian spirit. It might also mean great big hairy mischief monster, but you know. Eldritch, anyway.

Haha, yeah must have been. It's a kind of long night altho I'll be having to hit the sack soon, as I am getting measured up for some teeth pulling tomorrow which doesn't really set me on fire but there's not really any escaping it unfortunately. But I am doing my best to distract my mind from it. I hope you are well after that great new grow room you've built, looks great.

Thanks for your thoughts GG we’re alright here. We’re miles away from flooding and from the volcano that just went off. A lot of people worse off than us.
My daughter is stuck in one part of the country and can’t get home to another part of the country. A lot of people like that. Shops are running low, but that’s a first world problem. The worst we’ll be affected is having mail disrupted. I’m expecting a big bag of megacrop.
Good to see ya :yummy:

Things get really exciting in the ol 3rd world when your pres and friends are corrupt thieving bastards who are putting taxes up but can't even provide their own country with a full 12 hours of electricity in some provinces others are worse off with six hours a day.

I’m a lucky donkey

Here is today’s Seedsman comparative grow update.

And here is our HulkLato after 5 weeks above ground. From one roof space stealth garden to another from the other side of the world! Blooming fabulous. Blooming in 6 weeks or more yet. I’ll top her soon to start the quadform on her and to encourage the shoots I want for clones before I strip her undercarriage.

Here is the bloom room a couple of days ago. We are 6 weeks post flip here and not looking anything like halfway yet.

That’s all this week. I hope everyone’s gardens are happy and that you all are talking to your loved ones again after the week that was ;)
Cheers.

I am still yet to do a fully fledged trained quadline, the end objective is clear but I always get side tracked....

I ran Seedsman WW the last season and took cpl clones cause it was a fab smoke and worked well for aches and pains, passed 2 clones onto mates as safekeep but all have been lost and I don't have any seed/clone but will def grow that again as its def a wicked strain.

Those flowering girls are a pretty picture DD. Love a bit of White widow as well, great strain for making hash.

Was chatting to a guy on a private canna group I'm part of as he manufactures locally made bubble hash bags but main reason is eating raw hash as weird as it sounds is very good for pain management as quiet a few guys on my group eat it for their ailments and swear by it but you don't get the euphoric/buzz from the hash so I'm def thinking bout getting a set of bags this season for both eating and smoking.....
@InTheShed Maybe. You may be right. It’s disorienting not to feel like I’m fighting dramas. Nice though.
Maybe what it is, is pain levels subsiding a bit. Not gone, just not as loud. Feeling sort of quieter. Strange.
I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned it here, but I have on a couple of other threads. I’ve found a local source of solventless CBD oil and for the last few weeks I’ve been able to sleep 5 or 6 hrs at a time (having enjoyed only 2hrs at once for the last 7 months). It is making a difference. The only issue is that our friendly local dealer sadist wants $900 for a 20ml bottle.
The infusions I’ve been making are really good for knocking the pain, but sleep has still been elusive. I can’t make them stronger using the method I have. Any ideas on making stronger solventless infusions most welcome.
Meanwhile I’ve decided to invest in a rosin press. I’d like to try a dab or two, but it will principally be for making stronger capsules, and for pressing the CBD flowers when they are ripe.

Same group of guys also have been doing cbd bubble hash with great results as well as pressing that hash into rosin which is also freaking awsome, have a little 5t press I got last year its just an average standalone type but it wasn't user friendly at all sadly and after a wasted day trying to press rosin gave up.
Returned press to company under the 2yr warranty via my mate who lives in Johannesburg where this company is but all communications have come to an abrupt end with the company ( small private work from home company ) and I'm sitting with a press I don't like, but going to have it modified some time this year and then it's time to get squishing although if I'm totally honest I need to figure out a way to smoke it as I can't hack a bong or rosin dab to save my life without having to dislodge my pancreas via a coughing fit so I love my joints...haha

I'm not sure if this comes out big enough but it's handy to have if you can read it.

Howdy mr.Sauga truly has been ages since I've bumped into you.... :passitleft: :Namaste: alsohaven't been around much in goodlong timeu fortunately but I'm coming back slowly....

Would this chart be adaptable to a different nute range local to me as I'd be keen to try this versus the way I feed now as I do my mixes per 5lt in my coco plants but the feed I'm using are bit stronger than I'm used too so been trying to keep track of measurements frustrates me as I don't always write things down so I repeat strengths to often or go to heavy and stunt my clones most recently...

Hope you are keeping well brother.....:thanks:

Cheers man I sure hope so. Another week or two of veg time is ok while jars are still stocked :ganjamon:

Thanks Shed. It’s unlucky to be superstitious I say, but yeah - fingers crossed if you’ve got ’em.

Thanks Gerry :high-five:

......

Thanks for your support, fellas your encouragement helps.

I’ve taken the stays off of her lower laterals for now, but left the ties on the uppers. You can see some healthy new node development which is even bigger after two days since this picture.

CBD

Same with only needing the top stays on to keep the tops level. She’s chugging away.

HulkLato

She has none of her stays left on for now. She might be playing catch up just to get her head and shoulders out while the other two get topped again.

There are a few factors dictating how long they’ll veg. Viability of clones is one. Timing-wise though I think they’ll be ready to jump under the HPS as soon as these girls are done..

Flowers week VIII
748348B7-CEA6-4C7A-8197-B4AF87A6EE6B.jpeg

They are at week 8 and already hooning into their final swell. They are rock hard solid. I could hammer nails in with some of these.
The buds on the iPurples are bigger than any in her last two iterations and trichs are still clear. I’ll be revegging one.
They’ve been getting greener, not more yellow which is how they were going, since feeding with mega crop. I’m seeing less chlorosis in the canopy than there was a week ago.
C019CE8D-5459-41B7-BA1D-425244016D9C.jpeg

This is the third time through for Isabelle Red. This time she hasn’t shown the colour I’m used to seeing on her. It’s only coming out a little now. I’m guessing the colour was a scream for help after all and that maybe I’m a better gardener now a little bit. Remember this..?

I’m not advocating cruelty to plants, but it sure was pretty :battingeyelashes:

Doesn't plant bondage make the ol member ticker with life force....hahahaha

Thanks for the info @Smeegol. I suffer with terrible back pain from work and I’m always sat on a few zips of bubble hash so I’ll be trying this real soon.

Make that 5 five hr sleeps in a year, the last three in a row!
It’s getting so I don’t know myself. I caught a glance of myself in the mirror and I was like huh.. who are you and what’ve you done with yeah, nah that is the sort of daft thing you we I would say, isn’t it?
Just kidding. This magic happens with smoke, not mirrors.

@Sunnyskies, @Ganjagrandaddy, @Kingjoe83, @InTheShed when Marvel finally do the action-comedy biopic of my life, whoever is cast in your parts, if that doesn’t sound rude, will be wearing their undies on the outside.

This is so exciting. I need a bigger garden!
Thanks for stopping by, y’all.
move over seedsman. lpl. a wickedly excellent seed stock.

One of the most amazing thing about this forum is the love that passes from those who can give to those who need.
Amen to that one brother , this certainly includes support and tine.
