DC's First Indoor Multi-Strain

Nice ductwork! The flowering plants look great and I'm sure that new bigger tent got set up just in time :thumb: .

If they are fungus gnats flying around, get the new fan down at soil level and let it blow right across the top of the pot. That should help along with the sticky traps. If they get serious, there are other easy options as well, like adding gnat nix to your nute water.

On the clones, I'm thinking you might try just having the domes tipped back a bit all day, and not spraying them any more. They need to be trying to get their moisture from below the soil rather than through the leaves.

Hey @InTheShed you got it man the two good ones I took the domes off yesterday morning and they still looked great today! The other two not so much so just like you said I put the domes back on this morning but tipped over slightly to moderate some air in.

Thanks for the tip on the fan, I have a few 10 or 12 inch guys laying around from summer I'll setup aimed at the top of the pots and throw it on oscillate should get things going. I dropped a few sticky traps in the pots man are they a bastard to pull out of the tube and get off your hand!

You’ll be fine with those. Rock on brother! :headbanger:

That's what I wanted to hear thanks bro!

And finally another quick shot of the girls, nothing but GREEEN, can't wait to see some flowers!

Day 70 from Seed
Day 8 of Flower

Its been awhile since I've had time to do an update it's been busy but damn things are going good! The plants are all reaching up, a little bit of stretch here starting but I hope to see some more in the next couple weeks so I can get some length for some nice long buds! Leaves are looking a nice vibrant green with no signs of deficiencies. My extensive training has paid off giving me a pretty even 42" wide canopy with only three plants covered with growth tips. I added in my old 300w blurple on the side to add some light into the corner where the QB wasn't quite reaching with full photons and after 12hrs they seem even happier!

Pistils are beginning to emerge and tops are starting to thicken and grow into buds, it is getting exciting and makes me very happy everytime I open the tent. I've been feeding at 4ml across the board of micro, grow, bloom and Calmag and they seem happy! I will maintain that concentration until the end of stretch where I'll transition to less nitrogen and more bloom.

Also no sign of the wee bugs that were cruising around since adding Sticky tape and a fan at the pot level. I think the bigger tent and space helped as well. Thanks @InTheShed for the tips!

Heres a photo dump of the lovely ladies from above and below.

Closing in on the end of week 2 of flower...Happy Saturday everyone! I finally have a day off work, and I've planted my ass on the couch with a coffee and a vape full of Green Crack (which I'm almost out of ahh!).

Only a couple inches in height so far, I'm hoping for a quick burst over next week. I'd like to see a good 6-8" of length on those stems or I'll have some stubby buds. Good news on that is they should be dense as hell as the node spacing is super tight right now. Either way they look great and happy and so am I. Pistils are really coming out from all the nodes, the smell is starting to increase to a lovely scent when I open the tent.

Had a bit of a slip up - called my girlfriend at home from work to check on the humidity - were in a bit of a cold snap here so I had to put a little humidifier in the tent to keep it from dropping below 35%. She sent me a pic and to my astonishment the blurple light was on even though it was supposed to be lights out! I had forgotten to switch the timer on the blurple I added to 12/12 from 18/6. It was only for one night so luckily I asked her to check on them that day - normally noone would be looking between when I leave for work in the morning and lights on at 7pm so who knows how long that could've gone on for! Crisis averted lol.

I'm going to be dropping some seeds into my 3x3 tent soon. My step-father was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer so I'm going to grow him some medicine, he'll be starting chemo soon. I'm going to look for some autoflower strains to get him something sooner rather than later that will help with pain and nausea relief. He doesn't normally smoke or really like getting high so I think I'll need to grow a more CBD leaning strain...any advice on some suggested strains out there?

Just one picture today - not much to do right now except stay on top of feeding - I am itching to get in there for a good defoliation but don't want to interrupt any stretching right now so I'll wait till the end of next week to give them a trim!

Good for you growing meds for your step dad! Here is a great thread that SweetSue put together:

Then head over here to read what others are doing and ask questions:

Tent looks great and you have once again proven why it's important to call one's significant other :).

Happy holiday to you and your loved ones DC!

Great links @InTheShed a ton of information in them I will be referencing thanks so much! I stopped by a dispensary yesterday to try a pre rolled of some CBD stuff. I think it was 16% THC vs .7% CBD just to get a feel for it and I actually really liked it. You get the body buzz and relaxation with zero anxiety or fogginess that can come with some high THC bangers.

Day 82
Start Week 4 of Flower
Humidity 42 - 50
Temp 20 -25

I kicked off week 4 with a good haircut. They didn't stretch much at all which was a let down because I planned for them doubling or I would've veged a bit longer. Oh well I figured I'd open up as many bud sites as possible at least. It's funny, I always seem to walk into it with the thought of taking it slow and leaving more leaves this time but then you really get into the zone and next thing you know they have a buzz cut lol! I think I did a pretty good job maintaining some foliage while also opening them up and lollipopping the bottoms. What do you guys think?

Budlets have formed up all over the place and pistils have all stretched out. Now they will start to bulk up. The node spacing looks perfect since they did not stretch so I'm hoping it leads to thick and dense colas. The training I did at least has them pretty wide spanning 4 feet across both of them. My TSW2000 is struggling to reach the edges, I am planning a lighting upgrade for next run where this tent will house 6 plants in two rows of 3 with a small aisle down the middle. I moved the blue dream off to the side and put it under the 300w blurple so the productive plants can share the TSW2000. Even now it is extremely slow to develop still working on pistils let alone budlets. I won't be holding my breath for her on this one.

One particular budlets I noticed looks like it stacked itself very strangely it is already huge for its age, the branch is a good inch thick, it will be interesting to see how it develops. Not sure if it's a mutation or what!

That's all for now. I hope everyone enjoyed some time off last week for the holidays! I know I did getting to stay home with the kids but back at it today unfortunately.

Good job with the lollipop, plants look much better. Glad you had a good time hanging with the kids/wife. I know I did as well! I was at work today, and a half day tomorrow. They look great man!

Right on and yeah I'm prolly gonna call it short tomorrow too we are hosting a new year's eve party. And thanks it's been a rocky road but I've learned a lot and seem to have settled into a groove.

That mutant is crazy, like some sort of woolly caterpillar! Excellent job on the thinning. I always want to leave enough foliage so you can't see the pot from above.
:thumb:

I know it is pretty scary looking from above lol I'm pretty pumped to see what it turns into.

I actually think I read you say that before and that's what I was going for, exposing buds but also not removing leaves just to shine light on the dirt in the pot.

Day 87
Closing Week 4 of Flower
Humidity 40 - 52
Temp 19 -24

Another feed last night for the week and all is looking well, I was so busy this week I didn't even check on them once for 3 days, I'm sure they were happy enough to be left alone! I believe I have the environment dialed right in I'm happy with the range of RH and temp.

The girls are working hard on forming more bud sites left right and center and are looking very happy. They are focusing on pushing out as many bud sites as possible..in a growth spurt of Flowering as all vertical growth has come to a stop. Nothing to complain about, trichomes are starting to form around the buds as the frost is setting in as well. The smell is getting what Iwould describe as heavier when I open the tent. So cool to watch this develop!!

Feeding is currently at the following per gallon and given about gallon each every 2 to 3 days coming in around 900ppm:
4ml calmag
4ml micro
1ml grow
4ml bloom

I noticed some very slight tip burn they are letting me know they are happy with where the feeds are at and asking for no more so I will hold steady here likely for the rest of her time, next week probably drop the grow completely.

Hulk bud looking like he might eat the rest of the plants.. Whatever is growing at the top of it I'm not sure you can even call pistils.. They are so thick it is like a layer of fur! Seriously wtf is this thing!?!

It's called Fasciation and is a genetic condition. Looks pretty cool though.

So like.. I can still smoke it right haha

I have a newb question as well regarding the GH line of nutrients. Why is the bottle for Grow which is heavier in the growth phase and lowered in bloom for obvious reasons actually have an npk ratio of 2-1-6? I thought nitrogen was the most key element for plants in growth phase but the grow bottle is highest in potassium.

Meanwhile micro is actually the highest in nitgrogen of the three at 5-0-1..?
