Darkscotia Apprentices - Passion#1 Perfect Sun COB/8COB Citizen K

I believe Doc does not top on his first run of plats to see how they grow naturally. though I could be wrong.

Well that sounds logical, and certainly like somethign DB would do! Thanks!

Just can’t figure out this new site for frig sakes. Thanks for all who has helped get me through these other few things. Hope everyone is having good weekend. I am minus trying to figure out this shit.

High ‘scotia, can you say which things in particular are still giving you grief? Heaps of things are being fixed everyday and heaps of folks ar findin new quirks, workarounds or adaptations/new ways to navigate the site functions all the time. SOMeone will be able to help you I’m sure. If you have specific questions, requests, or complaints, even compliments(!), you can post them in the Brand New Forums & Gallery thread and you’ll also get an ‘official’ response.

Your plants are looking really tops BTW :thumb: :yummy:

Honestly Amy it’s just me getting frustrated. Having hard time navigating threw site and not getting updates and finding some journals and couldn’t download pics for some reason. I’m half young but hate technology honestly. Took me forever to learn old site and now have to do it all over again. Pissed about the blog and all the time spent putting all the info together for it just to be gone temporarily yes but that don’t help now lol. Just frustrated that’s all. Ill find my way

Ok thanks - some tutorials are in the pipeline for navigation and finding stuff.

Re the images - downloading/loading is hamstrung at the moment because of backend optimisation still taking place, so just needs patience from our end - so hard! I’m getting there wth that (I did a mega update one the day of the new site launch that I don;t think anyone has been able to see yet!)

Blogs are right at the top of the list of stuff that’s being tweaked/added as far as I know so it shouldn’t be long. Your work isn’t lost!

I’m assisting Ian astage with tutorials so anything specific, it would actually be good to know so I can have to included. :thumb:

Gee there’s been some nice stuff passed around these last few days with all this adjustment to change going on... here :passitleft:

Please pardon the intrusion. :thanks:

Since many of you stay in the grow room with blinders on, we have to spread the word somehow.

The mobile apps have been temporarily disbled, you can now access our 420% mobile friendly website via all smartphones through a browser like Google Chrome.

Yup all kinds of nice stuff going around. So stressful I’ve smoked every bit of first round hb smoke for frig sakes

So all girls got there 2nd cat drench the day before. One passions that hadn’t had the best colour and now one of the bluecheese which has looked good the hole time is showing some rust look on leafs amd got some tacoing happening as well. Just about didn’t give 2nd cat but said screw it and they got them anyway. I’m thinking on the next brix spray I my add some snake oil again. They really seemed to enjoyed it the first time I’ve gave the snake oil. Will get some pictures up when this place allows me finally. Hope everyone enjoys there day and for those i typically follow amd haven’t been around it’s cause I can’t find your journal at this time. Oh forgot to mention feed 3 mixed at 30 ml per 5 gallon and the other at 10ml per 1.5 gallon

Sometimes cat drenches can have that effect. I'm not sure what, I'll get one that gets off track each run. Those rust colored spots is what I get the most

Yup same thing happened on my first hb run as well. Bud still turned out my best to date. Sort of sad I ran out.

Duggan I’m coming to see you I need a 2month stock of hb buds please. Should only need around 300-400g

Here's them today. After 2 cat drenches, not a bad leaf on the bunch.

From here on out I'll be alternating Growth Ionic Drench with Transplant at about double the "bottle" dose.

Looking amazing doc. Why is it letting you upload pictures. I’m going to try chrome for a browser see if that makes a difference.

When you say you be feeding double the bottle dosage. Say you’re mixing 5 gallon a water at a time for 4 plants what would you feed at in my case. Was feeding about 45ml per 5gallon

Looking great as usual Doc! When you say you'll alternate GE and TD does that mean no straight RO in between them?

The bottle says 1mil drench per gallon of soil. So, basically I'm using about 2mils per gallon of soil, not quite.

Since these are large and vigorous, with nothing showing burn, twisting, claw, etc. I'm really hitting them hard. They lost their stank about a week ago, but look pretty.

Most strains won't need that much feeding, some will need more.

to directly answer your question, If I was feeding 4 of these Black Cherry Floats I'd probably use 2 ounces of Transplant or GE per 5 gallons of water. Again, most strains wouldn't need this much, but these seem to like it for now.

I was reading docs site and you recommends trans with every watering, if im reading correctly. Can you confirm please?

"Transplant Drench Should be used when transplanting, during the veg phase and throughout the bloom phase alternating with Growth Ionic Drench. Like all other drenches, it is used at .5 to 1 mil per gallon of soil.

Notably, some growers have found that essential oil and resin production can be increased by using 1/4 oz of Transplant per 5 gallons of water evenly distributed to every plant with each and every watering....whether that's with a drench OR with just plain water. Please note, this does not mean ¼ oz TO EVERY PLANT, but 1/4 oz into 5 gallons of water.

**That's 1/4 tsp of Transplant added to each drench and watering, per gallon of water being used.**"

so what i should be doing now that the plants are back on track is

GE + 1/4tsp trans per liquid gal + tea-->water + 1/4tsp trans per liquid gal + tea--> Trans + Tea--> repeat?

Do you want me to confirm that it says this on the website? Or would you like me to confirm that I agree with my website?

It's nothing new....we've been doing it for years.

Can you confirm that this is the correct watering sequence.

GE + 1/4tsp trans per liquid gal + tea-->water + 1/4tsp trans per liquid gal + tea--> Trans + Tea--> repeat?

never saw any mention of using trans with everything. Maybe i missed it in this thread. I havent used any trans at all in my grow. Want to make sure im doing things right.

You really do want to be using transplant. Even if it is not with every drink you should still alternate it with GE. As it says some people do it that way and others dont. i do not and I have ok results. My plants could be healthier and brixxier and doing this may help. I think part of it is that it helps keep soil energy up between drinks.

Edit: By drinks I mean drenches.

Only did GE following the good Doctors advice. Only thing was i was underfeeding significantly so he kept saying to do another GE. I wish i would have known that i could have added trans to those waterings. Ill have to crawl through docs site now that its up and running. I think the confusion with so many growers is there isnt really a set way of growing with the kit. Everyone seems to do it there own way which makes it hard for new growers until they find there own way. Not complaining. Love this learning expirence but its almost like a treasure hunt.

Hey RF! I had a hand full of successful Kit harvests but my current 3, I've been following the dark apprentice journal and was a little surprised with the fairly high and often feeds of both GE and TP but my plants have not looked better. I'm not sure exactly where or why Doc suggested the GE but sure he had his reasons, what I can say is you need to get some transplant drench into those girls, that is the main thing your young ladies need to develop good root structure. I also never know about the 1/4 trans in GE but do it in RO between drenches.

When I say the drenches in #1's were high, we're talking about 30ml or 1oz in 2.5 gallons of water then dunked my 3 plants and dumped the excess of about 1 gallon. Now in the 15's, I've been doing 2ml of drench per gallon of soil so yup a full oz per plant, in about 2.5 gallons of water per plant.

Pic from tonight.
