Darkscotia Apprentices - Passion#1 Perfect Sun COB/8COB Citizen K

Thats just about the way I also water, Some in the tray rest slow drip down the top, whats left in the tray gets wicked up
within an hour after finishing.

As per the PH Ppm I still check and record because thats what I DO

I would like to see that data if you would share.

Well, since this journal is focused on me helping and coaching Darkscotia, let me say something about pH adjusting water/Drenches and testing the oH of "runoff."

Both practices are curiosities at best. If a person was to believe or invent some folklore as to how the pH of runoff was useful in any way, or adopt some notion about what such a measurement means or implies.......such a person is going down a rabbit hole.

Soil pH is critical. That's why we add minerals and insure the oH is buffered to 6.4.

All organic growers have buffered pH----- whether they know it or not. The mass of soil is a huge, insurmountable buffer when compared to adding a few drops of phosphoric acid to a gallon of water. Such an action is futile when it comes to influencing soil pH.

Ditto testing runoff. The soil is at 6.4. Who cares what the runoff is? We already know the pH of the soil. What information is runoff testing giving and how does it influence decision making for the gardener?

Both practices are nothing but folklore. Not all folklore is bad, most of it is actually quite food. Bit this is an example of internet folklore, not old organic wizard folklore.

Those of us who grow in living soil of all types do not worry about pH.

That's all I'm going to say about other than to make sure Darkscotia knows I never do such things......cuz they're mythology and without basis.

Today marks the girls first cat drench.
Mixed up 30ml cat with 2.5ml tea to 5gallons of h2o and then mixed up 1.5 gallons with 10ml cat and 1ml tea.
Very excited for this part of the grow. The girls got wonderful colour and quite the smell so far and everyday they're praying away to the weed gods and the god9 lol.

Looking great Dark! Especially like the shine on that last one! :high-five:

Hate to be a pita. Can you tell me why the 2 different cat mixtures and how it was distributed? Also, how many days post flip? Thanks!

I used 2 different amounts cause my 5 gallon bucket wouldn't feed all 4 girls with each girl getting about 1.5 gallons per pot. 3 girls got feed from the 5 gallon bucket then my biggest bushy passion got the other 1.5 gallons. I will
Get back to you later today with how many day since flip when I get back home. My flip day should be in the link in my signature as well.

Anybody know how to get into options and stop email from being sent to my email for every notification I get. That never happened to me before.

Click on "420 Forums" tab
Then " watched threads"
Now on right hand side you will see " Manage watched threads" there you can disable the email function.
