Thank you! My apologies for being late with some UPDATE ed pics.

It's 100F as I take these pics. That's as hot as it gets here! Been going out in short spurts to get things done. Like replacing a sill under the back door, and putting the finish on the new deck we're still waiting for components for. I'm a home dog these days! Glad the plant has different ways to deal!

3 days ago I went for another dose of Geoflora veg since there's no sign of buds yet. Still building structure for them. I covered that with some compost I found containing crab and other composted ocean shellfish shells. First use for this, and it's made here in my state. She had a good reaction to it (didn't die) it seems. Next compost will be llama, loaded with red wrigglers.

Here she is today coming in at about 7 feet tall and almost as wide.

That's an inch thick branch getting pointed at!
So I dropped the ball with these two. Was going to reverse one and pollinate the other(clone stankberry sisters) but I got carried away with work on the house that's pretty much under control now thank goodness! Drought happens, but I didn't expect them to recover so well.

My mouth is on the floor man. Either you're the luckiest grower alive or you know what the hell you're doing. I'm going with the latter. Honestly man I've seen a ton of outdoor plants, greenhouse plants, etc., and these are among the healthiest outdoor plants of this size I have ever seen. I looked hard in your pictures to try and find any kind of blemish whatsoever and I couldn't find ONE. Amazing. (I'm sure you can show me one if pressed, lol, or no? Are they really as good as they look everywhere we can't see too?) That Geoflora seems to be giving a lot of people good results, I may have to jump in. The stems are so thick! I can't wait to see your harvest. My god. Great great job man. And thanks for saving me the hassle of entering the Plant of the Month contest next month. I ain't competing with this.

Hey @StoneOtter I have a question for you if you don't mind, you'll likely know this and if not you probably know who would...btw, the recovery on that plant is astounding. I would have written it off. They're so damn resilient. Anyway, I was wondering, if I wanted to grow one or two BIG plants, by big I mean finishing off in a seven gallon container, and I wanted to go Dixie Cup > One gallon pot > Three gallon pot > Seven gallon pot with respect to up-potting, how long of a veg do you think I'd be looking at before the flip? 90 days-ish? I go 60 at least using the fives I'm currently using. So I'm thinking 90 or so? Have you done something akin to this before indoors? And just how big with training can a plant get in a tent in a seven?

Thanks man!

Hey @Grand Daddy Black, it occurs to me that you might be someone that would know the answer, or AN answer, to this....mind a quick question? I won't clog up Otter's thread with more than this one (thanks for the leeway Otter, sorry, lol, feel free to post your life story in my journal):
how big can a plant get in a seven gallon pot, in a 5x5, with perfect environmental conditions, very good training to create a flat canopy (but without a screen), and a world class light, but no CO2? Assume I want to up-pot like this: Dixie Cup > One gallon pot > Three gallon pot > Seven gallon pot. Also assume Sohum living soil.

Can I fill my tent and harvest a pound and a half from one plant in that scenario? Or could I fit two plants in the 5x5 in that scenario in sevens without choking them out, and harvest over two pounds? Either one of those things possible?

Thanks!

When I use 7 or 10 gallon pots I like around 70 days for a nice big plant to make 4 in a 4 x 4 tent. Depends on the plant though. A sativa can't wait like that, but most do. I've gotten good yield from a single plant in a 15 gal pot in the 4 x 4 and broke the lb barrier in LOS.
That plant is HUGE!

"You're going to need a bigger boat."
High Azi :ciao: , she got nicely out of hand on me.

Hey Stone, that Stankberry is getting bigger and bushier with every update! :bravo:

I think when harvest comes you should hang dry it in one piece. :laughtwo: I think I'll be able to hear you all the way over here as you yell, "Timber!"

Sorry, @Jon, I don't know the answer to your question. In fact, I've never used any thing larger than a 5 gallon pot.

One things for certain though, what strain you run (as well as the genetic quality of the seeds) has a lot to do with how much volume can be produced.

For example, in the pic below I have six plants in a 5x5 tent and things are a little tight but not unmanageable. All of these plants are in 4 gallon pot.

However, check out the Lemon Haze plant in the back left corner and imagine how things would look if all of the plants were that strain and had the same vertical growth. Or, imagine the view if all of the plants had the horizontal growth of the Grand Daddy Purple front left, which got wider than all the others. Things would have been much tighter!

I hope this "non-answer" is helpful. :Rasta:

No man, thank you, it's actually extremely helpful. A picture, especially with explanation, is worth 1000 words. I appreciate it and I see what you mean. Damn, all those were in fours? Those are HUGE. What was the yield from that grow do you remember? Cuz you're right, that is not unreasonable at all. What an amazing grow.

You may want to hire a logging and trim crew soon before no one is available come harvest time. She’s HUGE! :nervous-guy:
Hey @Nev I'm Jon, nice to "meet" you. I was thinking pickup truck, big chain, rope it over a tree branch, and trim her up outside!! :laughtwo: :laughtwo: :laughtwo: :laughtwo:

Wow, Stone, your Stankberry is huge! You're going to need a chainsaw to take that thing down. Better that than what happened to BooWho's outside plant.

I have gotten away from weighing them lately mostly because I have no real need to know the weight. However, just based on the number of (32 oz.) Mason jars I filled, I can tell you it was over a pound.

Damn, I'm just a wealth of information, eh? :laughtwo:

I have to find my sharpening tools and put a nice hone on the axe! That shh shhing sound is me getting ready.

Man, some of her branches are adding up to a normal whole indoor plant now, i can't wait to see some flowers!
You're not the only one waiting!
