Dark Matter, Red Sky, Chunky Cherry Thai, BP Skunk In LOS

OK NOW! SATURDAY MANLY MEN UPDATE!

Hi all, we're up in the aux room I dry in. Out of 9 plants only 2 males were born and here they man up together. Not a bad ratio for growing pot! I'm interested in these two so a collecting pollen I will go! Here's the donors getting a nice set of sacs already.

Maybe a week or so and one should start letting some go. I should be able to get the 1 gal girls seeded in with the Nevilles Haze. Then the one I want will be ready in the main event tent, the Chunky Cherry Thai! She's my main want from this run. Of course the Black Poison Skunk looks inviting too!
Happy Spring Everyone!

Highya SO,

You look like you're having fun!! Cheers to you! Nice presentation. Your males are looking good! Don't ya love it when a plan comes together!?!? It's real nice up here today. I'm guessing it's even better down there. Happy Vapin'

We had a beautiful day too! I got out and did some planning on the new beds. Let's have the best season ever!

I'm still looking at ways to make solventless concentrate for filling vape carts. Hi all :ciao:, filling a cart with my own live resin and nothing else hasn't lost it's shine. I'm beginning to find countertop co2 systems in the world. They're pretty costly but not as much as I thought. @InTheShed there's a few co's out there offering their machine for folks like us! (Only with money) This one comes close to being affordable. https ://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxO9izpA6LI The link won't work unless you reunite the https with the :.

High folks, Colloidal Silver is on my mind today. I started spraying a stankberry this morning and am looking at the process again. I found a fatal flaw in our measuring of the concentration I believe. Apparently a tds meter isn't the tool for the job. Here's an article I found. Now what? There may be a conversion or some other way to get there. I'll find it if you haven't already! Let me know.
Edit: I have one answer. If I use the bottle ppm promise, say 500ppm and dilute it by the right amount. Easy peasy. 2 to 1 = 250ppm. etc

I've not been successful yet at CS reversal myself, but if starting with 500ppm then diluting 10:1 with distilled water gets a total of 50ppm, or as you say by half and gets 250ppm. I have previously used 24ppm but mostly I've read of people using at least 50ppm, so next time I would look at doing what you are considering and bump up the strength to at least 50ppm if not more.

Thanks otter! I watched a much longer version of that same video a couple of years ago, and it's well above what I have room for! Not to mention a cooler filled with anti-freeze and all the lines/timers/valves/heaters looks to be beyond my skill level.

Maybe someday I will be able to give the QWET another try using the 190 proof stuff I should have used to begin with! I already have the Buchner filter, papers, and the distiller sitting around. Not yet though... :(

@beez0404, who runs CS all the time with great success, uses 50ppm stuff directly from Amazon. If you're interested in reading his method and tips, I put together a link of links a while back. You can find that here.

I've had failure with a tds reading of 70 before @ twice a day. I'm reading @toker69 "how to make fem seeds" journal now. He went once a day with around 50 ppm . I'm going to try his method. Getting the ppm correct will be better this time for me.

Great links to the Beez experience Shed! It's time for this to work! My CS is old and New is on order. That's another thing. A year, maybe more, and it's time to replenish from what I read. That's going to help. Mines 2 to 3.

UPDATE

Hi all! Good day to you! I'm so glad to have my garden respond to the heat mats just two days ago, maybe three. I had to wait for two to arrive before warming their roots. WHAT A DIFFERENCE SOME HEAT MAKES! The rear two were warmed up last week. They're smallish leafed plants generally back there and came back to health. Now it's the front row's chance! The change is pretty notable! Fast healthy and large growth is happening there now. Just in time to grow some of those lower branches up to the canopy!

I found another male, a Red Sky! WOOT! So 3 0f 8, still excellent for female finding.

The Chunky Cherry Thai male started to give up pollen yesterday, I'm psyched to have that flavor in the jar for later. I may paint some on the Neville's Haze tonight for a cross, we'll see how I feel, been migrainy lately doh.

Here they are feeling better. Did I mention the fancy humidifier? A Craigs List trade. Never retail!

Anyway, here's how they look today.

The Best to you and yours! We're almost there, keep at it!

Highya SO,

Lovely looking ladies again!! It's amazing to me how much it takes to grow indoors up here in cold land. I finally gave up. Much happier doing one grow outdoors! On the other hand, you're doing a great job giving them what they need. They look really happy again. Nice job. Happy Vapin'

A beautiful set of four! Warmth FTW. :high-five:

:( Are you still doing the nerve burning/ablation on the regular (however often that may be)?

What did they get in exchange?
Thanks! Yes however it's been too long. I can do it every 6 months or so. I skipped it to stay away from the hospital when it was full of covid patients. Soon now we've had our second shot 2 days ago. The exchange may have been a sick bird so I won't say:cool:

I have to say the 18 watts of heat under them made my day! The tent keeps to 64 65 at light out still so I think it's a good trade. Maybe I'll have a grow go smoothly someday. Let me know if you notice one, I haven't yet that I can remember. Thanks Bode!
