Dark Devil Auto Grow Journal By MarkTHC

January 12th at 9:30 am

Lights: ON
Temp: 70 Degrees
Humidity: 59%
Light Hight: 39 1/4 inches above the soil
Soil: 1” Down Dry, 2” Down Dry
Container: Very light.
Water: Continue Flush two 1-Gallon Jugs plain Water pH 6.3

My container was extremely light, so I filled two 1-gallon jugs with water and just pH both to 6.3. I then watered 1 gallon at a time until I seen some runoff. The runoff was a little dirty but not to bad in my opinion. Harvest is next week, and I am very excited to see the turnout.
I also trimmed off some more fan leaves that were blocking light and hitting the side of the tent.

Day 61

January 16th at 9:30 am Harvest

Lights: ON
Temp: 72 Degrees
Humidity: 50%
Light Hight: 39 1/4 inches above the soil
Soil: 1” Down Dry, 2” Down somewhat moist
Container: somewhat light.
Water: None

Today day 65 I chopped my beautiful Dark Devil Auto down. It has a very sweet smell. Almost all trichomes where milky with some amber. The lower flower trichomes where mostly cloudy with almost none amber. But I had to harvest today. My house guest did not show up yet and was postponed but will be here in February. By then everything will be gone and cleaned.

The flowers were very, very sticky putting off a very sweet smell. I just hope I did everything okay and the product will be perfect. My next grow will be in my 5th wheel and not in my house so that way there will be no rush.

I cut each branch into about 12-inch sections and they are now hanging upside down drying in my tent. I did leave one fan on blowing downwards to circulate air but not directly hitting the branches hanging.

Day 65- Harvest day

I would kill the fan except for just a few minutes a couple of times a day... you want a slow dry if you can, and now you have the time to do it. That fan is going to knock days off of the slow dry. The product looks awesome though... you are really going to like this. Do this drying and curing right... this is fully half of the process to produce good quality pot and you get half of the potency and most of the flavor in how well you do these next steps.

January 19th at 11:00 am Harvest Drying process

Lights: Off - Dark
Temp: 66 Degrees
Humidity: 52%

Well, my harvest is going very well. Still not dry all the way yet I bet in 5 more days it will be done. My humidity was extremely high for the last few days, but I opened one side vent and opened the front door zipper about 12 inches or a little more. Still, no light is going inside my tent where I am drying my Dark Devil Auto. I also put my Dry-Z-air inside the tent and my humidity went down to 52%.

Last night I ordered my dehumidifier off Amazon prime for 32.99 it should be here this Sunday. If I do not use it this grow, I am sure I will use it next grow for sure.

I bent a small stem and it just bent over still a lot of moisture inside the plant. I know if I were to have let my plant grow for another week, I would have had denser buds. But I was in a time crunch. I think my weight will be good enough for me plus it was my first grow so I was not expecting much.

I finally have finished drying my flowers and trimming them into beautiful buds. The small popcorn airy buds I just threw in with my trim and shake jars I will make some good cannabutter out of it. My photos are with the flash on and off on my camera.

The result is:

83.1 grams of flower
28.8 grams of trim and shake
