She's so beautiful. I can wait to see what you do to keep her that beautiful with such limited root space. I have great faith in your talents as a cultivator. :hugs:  :hugs:

Please help me spread this message as widely as we can on site. Thanks.

OK guys, let's talk a minute. While watching the seminar there was discussion that included reference to an article on the proper way to inhale cannabis and the surprise that most of us have been doing it wrong most of our lives. I went looking for the article and came across it over at Green Flower Media.

So let me ask the gathering....... How many of you hold your hit as long as you can? Yep, me too. As long as I've smoked that was the challenge. How incredibly misguided.

After reading the explaination of how the lungs are structured and the speed with which THC is absorbed - that would be almost instantaneously - I found myself wondering how, as an educator, this had never occurred to me. If the cannabinoids are absorbed that quickly there's no reason to hold your breath.

So stop doing that. Right now please. Be kind to your lungs. You're still going to get all your meds, and you're still going to get high.

Do yourself a favor though, and wait a minute before you take that next hit or vape pull. It takes about that long for the THC to get into the brain and start attaching. Might as well let them do their thing and see if maybe that was enough.

I know, I've always just kept smoking until I got to the edge and slipped over into free fall. When I think of all the money and cannabis I wasted over the years it's chilling. I'm going to explore this new smoking paradigm. Maybe some of you will do the same. The thrifty Scot in me will be happier with this decision. :laughtwo:

Just 'cause I care about you. :battingeyelashes:

Well, its been a couple weeks since I last updated my Dark Devil grow here. Im having mixed results, but all 3 plants are still moving along.
Mazikeen is now at 43 days...looking very green. I love the color of her leaves.

Cynthia would not stop stretching. I was forced to take drastic measures. Here she is at 37 days.

Her sprout mate Bagheera, also at 37 days, looks like she is going to be the pretty one. Her buds are filling in fast and are turnng a gorgeous purple.

Well, thats it for this weeks DD review.

:peacetwo:

Im finally able to join in the community grow soaking seed now

Sent from my SM-G360T1 using 420

Welcome sareciag. We warn you, she's addictive, both to grow and to smoke. :laughtwo:

Oh gosh. :yahoo: That makes a new cultivator in each of the community grows today. Wow! That makes me feel really great!

Everyone, the plants are gorgeous.

Mouser, that Mazikeen is a stunner!!! If you have the option I'd find some way to give Cynthia supplemental lighting to beef up all those sites.

STIHL, are you gonna push her into the 80s? What you have going on there looks very similar to what arteekay and Jay pull off, and I've finally convinced arteekay to try for a longer one next time. The difference you get out of the final 15-20 days will surprise you.

Snidrajsed, yours, on the other hand, try to hold off until she starts to change her fans to fall coloration. That's when this one is coming into the harvest window. I don't use chemicals, so I don't flush, but if I did, I wouldn't be planning on that until I had significant color change going on.

SoloVoodoo..... This is why I started keeping a flow sheet. Now the challenge is to use said sheet. :laughtwo:

I've got almost all my fan leaves turning brown. Sitting at 69 days here. I was tossing around whether I should harvest now. I'm thinking I'm going to push another week or so. It's my first harvest and I'm wanting some of it. Especially after testing out the popcorn bud I trimmed last week. :)

Here she was yesterday. Makes my mouth water....

Even with my absence from 420 I've been trying to follow along so I hopefully got a chart I can manage haha :thumb: I'm looking forward to seeing this one grow as this strain will probably be in the garden for the foreseeable future :thumb:

Thanks sweet sue, the leaves are fairly crispy. Th ey just haven't changed colour yet. It's been 6 days since last feeding of full bloom nutes, I plan on flushing twice over the next 2 weeks and harvesting her dry in 14 days or so. That would bring me to day 90. Lol I use chemicals

What is the norm for DDA's? Anywhere from 65-100 days?

Thanks for the info my dear... KiG :green_heart:Cheers

Hi everyone. i have been watching this thread and would be thrilled if my dark devil turned out in similar fashion.

This is my older devil at 14 days

Can anyone explain this one? 10 days and has had slow growth, light yellow slightly twisted from the start.

This is their home for now. Alongside red poison, black cream, auto frisian dew, and an amherst sour diesel.

Welcome lingzhi. :welcome: That older one's going to be stunning, you can see that already. If they're growing in the same soil you probably got a bad seed with the second, sickly one. It happens. You can coax it along or cull it and plant something healthier behind it. That's unfortunate. If you contact the seed bank you purchased from and remember to avoid saying you're growing the seeds they sold you to "collect," they might replace it. Plan out the language carefully. They're usually pretty good about this type of thing.

Nice diversified brood you have there.

STIHLS DD DAY 52 :)

Here's my last one at 52 days for comparison:

STIHL's still got all white pistils, mine has 'em just on the foxtails and the rest have fully receded. There's no way I'd be thinking of harvesting his in 8 days.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, or right.

What is the norm for DDA's? Anywhere from 65-100 days?

Sweet Seeds claims 8 1/2 weeks from germination. We got 2.9 ounces off our first, and 4 off our second, both just a few days past 60.

I'd go with what you're doing right. I'd chalk it up to a combo of exemplary training and superior control of your nutrients under great lighting. In other words, it works in spades for you. I'll step aside and let you perfect it even further arteekay. Sooner or later you're going to duplicate Kushtie's oozing wonder.

Speaking of Sweet Seeds, I received a package from them in the mail today. A token of appreciation for the work done here and the excitement generated.
