Dark Devil Auto: A Community Grow Record

Chopping a DDA at 79 days is going to give you some mighty speedy flowers. The norm used to be wait 100 days and harvest a DDA. Most of mine I harvested at 90 days. I suppose it's a matter of personal preference. And also the environment in which a plant is grown goes a long way to determining when it's ready to be harvested. No matter what size mine were, big or small they all looked the same around day 90.
 
So my other seed never came out after over 2 weeks in germination attempt. Given how long it's sister is taking, I should've probably kept waiting but I didn't wanna deal with it anymore. I ordered some other auto seeds to play with later.

Anyhoo, little DDA is growing a little bit now (a little more than 5 inches tall and wide)...given that she's been above soil for over 4 weeks now (and in reality VEG day 1 was 25 days ago) I'd think it's time to start getting a move on!!

Anyone ever transplant a 40ish day old DDA before?? I don't think I've done one thing right so far and it's been working well. I transplanted Terpy last night.
I bet she gets pistils tomorrow. Lol.
I've been curious about transplanting autos , so let's see what happens.....for science!!!!

It may be just the opposite, Virgin Ground. Perhaps you have not done one thing wrong! :Rasta:

I have been growing my autos exactly the same as my photos. Haven't changed anything aside from not topping them.
I may just be lucky.
 
Hi gang, been watching this thread for quite some time. As of 4/1/20 I am a legal medical user/grower in my state. Put the cart before the horse and started soaking some DDA beans a few days before my license was approved. Glad I did cause I got some newborns.

Here is my set up for this grow.

Tent - 32X32 iPower
Lights - Timber Vero Cobs 450 watts
Nutrients - GH Trio / Calmagic / Dyna-gro Silica / Hydroguard / Flying Skull Z7
Water - Well Water....ppm around 190
Fan - Walmart Special
Air Pump - Active Aqua AAPA15L
Air Stones - Round 6 Inch

I'll try to update once/week.

Nice Caddie! Your setup looks great. I’ve got that same iPower. for a cheap tent it’s got decent zippers.

I popped another DDa, it came up today.

Yeah I’ve moved to germinating in hempy. This DDa is my second attempt, both of which were successful. I just planted an It’s It Punch in the same cup yesterday. Tomorrow morning bright and early I’ll transplant the DDa to her permanent home. A 10flqt hempy bucket.

here it is. My DDa on day 2 in her final home. I know I need to water every day til she hits the rez. Should I water more than that? Before I transplanted her I charged the perlite with 1.5g/gal of Megacrop.

Thanks Otter! She’s looking to be a good one. Easiest DDa I’ve germinated so far. I’ve heard nothing but good things about doing DDa in a hempy set up. Maybe I’ll be able to get a decent couple oz instead of the dinky 12g I got last time.
