There are a lot of pheno expressions with the DDA
You can say that again!

:nomo:
I wonder if we’re seeing that here because a lot of us grow seeds made by members who have selfed them.

I’m not deeply across breeding patterns and genes etc. but i have absorbed a bit of info around here and one of those bits is that making an S1 from an already feminised plant can elicit as much genetic variation, in terms of phenotypes, as an F2 cross- so lots!

It’d be interesting to compare the variety we have all seen to whether it was from original seeds or reversals of them.

That said, there’s even a pheno on the SS breeders page that I’ve never seen - except maybe in one of Sue’s very early grows. It’s fully purple all over - leaf, stem, bract etc. Even my purplest one still had green leaves (until they turned the colours of autumn - not purple tho)

These two are night and day. One ☝️ s very Sativa like and one very Indica like. The shorter has a celery size stalk.

My DDA at sprout + 53 days. Grown in organic soil. She has begun sucking the life out of her larger fan leaves. It's time to give her a top dressing in case she's hungry. I'll make a rabbit poop tea, dilute it, and mix it with some kelp meal tea. Sorry for the blurple photo. Too lazy to take her out for a quick pic tonight. This plant from the beginning has been a bit "different" then the other DDA I've grown. In the past they were all in hempy pots so that probably has a lot to do with it. But in the last week or so I have been noticing her fragrance has a more then slight gassy/fuel tone to it. The floral/sweet is still there but the fuel is very noticeable.

Deficient or just being a DDA?
Hard to say. It does seem a bit lacklustre and is it a bit pale also? (HArd to tell on my screen for some reason). If it was mine I’d think my soil had gone ‘flat’ and I’d treat accordingly for the system, but I don’t know if that’s relevant, or not, to your situation. One thing I would try would be to include some mycorrhizae or other root innoculant/tonic in the next feed/watering. The nutes you’re using are tried and true with many of your plants so I can only think it’s unhappy/lacklustre roots (assuming the enviros are good and there’s no pests on plant or in soil). DDA, some phenos, can have a droopy downturned leaf thing, but even those ones usually retain good robust colour in the leaves. That’s all i got - hope its some food for thoughts :)

Mine is at day 60 post sprout. She has a good number of light green and yellowing leaves. Mostly the oldest, largest fan leaves at this point. Still learning this soil growing so I won't be much help. She is scheduled for a top feeding on day 65 consisting of kelp meal, finely ground malted barley, and finely ground rabbit pellets which I will mix up, scratch into the soil and water in.

I'm going with the assumption that it's just natural. Other then the color of those leaves the plant appears healthy. We'll see how she responds, if at all to the top dressing.

All the DDA I have grown in the past were in Hempy pots. They stayed green and happy all the way through harvest. I don't recall any of the leaves showing autumn colors. So I can only deduce whatever is happening is because this plant is in organic soil.

MegaCrop at 6g/gallon, but the gallon before last was 6.5g, then back to 6.
I am at 5.5. Wondering how far I push.
DD2 pushes out some weird leaves. Lots of deformity in fan leaves. I am at day 33 above soil.

So, what am I doing wrong here? They’re at day 11/14 now, they seem small and their leaves are a bit yellow and twisty. They’re in Sungro’s Black Gold organic potting soil + compost. I figured they looked a little cold/wet so I bumped my temps up to low 80s and put them in a windier spot. Any other suggestions? should I get on with the feeding when they’re dry enough?

Look hungry to me.
