I've had purple DDA yield over 7 ounces. Pretty easy in dwc.

These here are the photoperiod grandchildren of DDA. The purple is definitely a dominant trait. Smells very much like DDA with less fuel and more berry. They should be at about 6 1/2- 7 weeks of 12/12.
And...
Should be? That means they aren't. What happened, timer mishap or just something that interfered with your schedule?

You can if you have 80-100 good days of sunlight left in your growing season. That is the range of times I've seen different folks grow their DDA plants. Some as short as 80 days from sprouting, others as long as 100 days post sprout.

Nah, "should be" refers to my inability to keep track of dates very well. I know that they are past 6 weeks but not quite 7 weeks.
I have a greenhouse and it will be heated just past end of October to finish up my chocolope. Seriously thinking about a couple more plants.

If you're not especially paranoid, there have been audio (voice) recording devices for 142 years. If you're really naive not at all paranoid, you could use your cell phone for this purpose.

Eh, I use a notepad app on my phone... rephrased, I have a notepad app on my phone. I have used it half a dozen times for random things. I suppose I could just start writing the date flowering started on my fancy duct tape labels...
I go mostly by the way the plant looks for gauging harvest times. It's hard to know who is "supposed" to finish when in my world due to the high number of phenotypes between my polyhybrids and other test seeds that I grow out.
We are probably canceling our trip to Seattle, so I think I may start up a couple of DDAs again to freshen up the rotation, maybe make some more hybrids with her. Awesome breeding stock.
Yeah, I suppose most of us do, really. Knowing exactly when you switched the light schedule and exactly when you harvested mainly helps in planning if/when you end up growing the same strain and phenotype of same in the future.
Probably helps others estimate things in that regard, too. Although that would be more for "stock seedbank strains" than custom blends, of course.

I smiled when I read that. Brix just harvested one in an Octopot that gave him in excess of 13 ounces of DDA buds. Would that be large enough? Lol!
With DDA we’re happy to get 2 oz, but I’ve beaten 4 oz at least once with the chemovar, and I’m not alone. If you haven’t yet tasted the sweetness of the harvested buds and felt the deliciousness of DDA euphoria you might not yet understand our passion and dedication.
Star Pupil is bigger, but bigger doesn’t necessarily translate into tastier or more potent.

There are other members that have pulled much more than the average, so like every other plant grown, it’s all about technique.
Side lighting will dramatically increase the yields.

If i could pull over 1 ounce per plant that would work
Dda is my favorite in so many ways
