outdoor adventure update (just a little one)
Last pic was 11 days from sprouting. This is 22 days, looking like things are about to get started but not convincingly. I searched through my photos of past grows and these are definitely slower than most seedlings. But I had another seedling that took over 60 days to get this size and still turned out fine, so I'll be patient.
My main concern at this point - I'm not sure the 5 hours of direct sun (15 total daylight) are better than plants would get from 18 hours of LED. I'm going to take the smaller one inside to see what difference it makes. This late in summer I'll probably have to move the other around Labor Day.

This is dark devil , bloody skunk and red poison autos my one red poison didn't stretch or have any side branches, my other red poison stretched no side branches , dark devil a and bloody skunk look great

Looking good. I just harvested a few DD's haven't weighed it but I'm guessing 1 1/2 oz per plant. The DD that I've sampled is a nice high and really smooth. The smoothness was really surprising without a good cure. How do you dry it enough to smoke? In the microwave?

When I said I just harvested, I meant a week ago. They dried in a net. Then went into jars. Sampled as they went into jars

My DDA is 77 days old, This is my first and only auto to survive past a week, it had a major transplant out of soil on June 1st that had excessive magnesium (horse tails), I should have taken more soil off the root ball as it still had to much soil imbalance. She has been impregnated with photo Critical Jack pollen and I see at least one seed looking mature. My camera died so I had to borrow a tablet to take a picture, couldn't really get a good close up.

I am pushing that red poison hard bc I popped her may 22nd and it is still in my room 7 inches from LED, my other autos I LST so stretch is extremely low comparison, but maybe that's causing the foxtailing? Idk but I likey the bloody skunk is foxtailing also

They're slow starters KR, and every one of us got nervous that first grow. Lol! I'd be concerned about the limited sunlight too, but that's 5 hours of direct sun, correct? That means they're still getting ambient light, but I always run my autos 20/4. Autos love the light. I'll be interested in seeing how much difference putting the small one inside under longer light will be. I suspect it'll be dramatic.

Ok so here is my dda and she is 54days old the yellowing is from the ferts I'm using mighty grow organics from my sponsored grow and they forget to mention there product was being tested on sum1 mixing up like 70 to 100 gallons of soil at a time n doing outside gardening but since we r doing potted plants the recommended dose the sponsor told me to use ended up burning my plants but its ok they r still doin decent plus I have 2 more dda beans to pop n those I'll be putting in a 5gallon home depot bucket and the other in a 7gallon cloth pot and see if that don't help me get my autos bigger cuz this and one of my blueberry autos from a previous harvest has been the tallest auto I've grown and I keep seeing people get these big plants that look almost the size of a regular photo girl but mine stay rite at about a foot tall r so give or take an inch anyway day 54 dda here she is and notice how she is foxtailing everywhere man I can't wait to harvest her
With one of my other dda beans I have yet to pop one will be used to make seeds which will be a cross of red poison auto and dark devil auto I'm currently reversing one of my red poisons with colloidal silver spray to make pollen which depending how much I get I'll first collect some pollen to put on my dda and then if enuf I'll put it on itself to try an get just straight red poison seeds then from my 2nd dda bean I got I will reverse that 1 to get pollen as well and then that pollen I will use on one of my photo girls to make a cross of whatever it was and have the attributes and looks hopefully like the dark devils but it will be a fast photo at least thats what I'm hoping for lol anyway hope u all enjoyed urselfs

Breeding the DDA to a photo may not give you the fast girls you might be hoping for. This is my Devil's Carnival, a cross between DDA and Carnival that Nis pulled off last year. I picked up some seeds from them in Jamaica and planted one, not really knowing what to expect. Would it be an auto, or would she be a photo that I could clone?
She turned out to be the largest photo plant I've grown to date.
she's not gonna speed up the process one bit for me, and will require the full four plus months to come to harvest. She's the one on the right.
She caught me off guard, growing so aggressively. I wasn't prepared for the trees these lights tend to grow.

Lol yea i was guna use first my red poison pollen im tryn to get right now n hopefully those will get some faster ones and if not oh well they r worth it in the color aspect and smell and prolly flavor too but i havnt harvested any red poison or dark devil yet these r my first im actually popping another dda bean right now and will go into a 5gal. Home depot bucket and see if i cant get a monster out of that lol ive been using my 3 gal cloth pots for my autos but they arent getting to full size like some ive seen so i figure up the size pot she is n try that outShe's beautiful Jones.

I grew my largest autos in 7 gallon fabric pots, but that was first-run LOS, one of the finest soils you can do a first run in. Many auto growers swear by 5-gallon pots, which is what I now use, so you're right there at the sweet spot.

So my red poison is such a crazy pheno not a high yielded but great smoke, it just keeps popping white pistols
keeps foxtailing and popping new pistols
trichs are milky not much amber just the way I like it but new pistols means let her rock

Let her go for the win man tht looks delicious I can't wait to get my seeds from my seed experiment with colloidal silver n thn I'll be makn as many red poison and dark devils as I want I would like it to the point of where I am harvesting one red poison and one dark devil a week and then that way I'll always have it on hand for one but my house will smell amazing with tht fruity ass shit hanging around drying 24/7 lol but yea I topped one of my current red poisons so I don't got a nice cola like urs but still coming along nicely I kinda wished I wuda put my first one in my los mix for a medium but I used her in my sponsored grow and we'll the feeding plan the guy told me to use burnt the shit out of them so now I'm playing doctor lol n nursing them back but even still sum nice bulky buds dense as shit already so I can jus imagine how she guna be come harvest but yea man great job lookn very nice

I'm having a difficult time without one growing at the moment. Lol! Still have another month before I can safely get one into rotation. Eek!!!

Yea here is my red poison and dark devil I have going right now first is my red poison
Next is my dark devil I didn't top her so she has a nice fat cola I hope it turns jus solid bulky bud wen she starts to fix tail if she makes it that long that is idk how she will end up due to the ferts I'm using from my sponsor but either way it shud make for some amazing meds I noticed jus now wen I went to go take these pics that I am now smelling a big jet fuel kinda smell or sumthn idk what it is but I love it
I just can't get over how beautiful and smelly these 2 strains are I am very excited to be making new strains with these 2 and mixing them with my photos ohh boy I'm so excited thinkn about it lol I feel like I'm a fat kid in a candy store with unlimited cash
So yeah those r my purple ladies enjoy an I hope every1s growing adventures are doing great and good luck to u all

The race begins
End of day 27 outside last night and growth is finally taking off. 5th leaf pair is opening on each plant so this weekend they will start getting foliar sprays from Doc's kit.
DDA2 is now in the basement under 18 hours of LED. Daylight outside is still 15 hours with 5 of it direct sun. First check point will be when pistils start showing. Final checkpoint will be around Labor Day, which is when days start to get mostly cloudy and I'll move DDA1 inside, but if weather cooperates I may leave her outside longer to benefit from cooler nights.

Ooooo..... leaving her out in cool temps might make her darker KR, although I can't see how they could get much darker than the ones I grow in the tiny closet.
They look good. I'm so relieved they're going again. Sometimes they still make me nervous. Lol!
