Dank's Three Strain Grow LST CFLs In Soil

Now for the day 21 update on the other babies, all growing up so fast. I'm about to give the PP, and the AK X a weak feed, since they are about ready. The soil is still kinda moist, so the feeding will be in the next day or two, some purple stems on the PP, so maybe the cal/mag from the grow big will clear that up. Transplant should take place within the week, still haven't decided if I want to use 1 gallon, or slightly larger pots than the 6 inch pots they're in now. Here's the PP, still very healthy, other than some slight yellowing on the lower leaves.

The GDP X PC, aka Miss Lavender, day 9.

Then the AK X, day 21 and looking good as well.

Thanks Dresney, I'm really surprised at the rate of growth on the PP, it's really outpacing the AK X. The lst will start soon, and I'll decide how much more veg time they will get. The AK X is already starting to smell, it's gonna be a stinky one in flower.
Looking good and green, Dank. I'm loving that little Miss Lavender!

My plants are a day behind yours and are really similar in size to your AK X. I love watching them come up together :high-five:

Lol, now let's just hope they're all girls, I hope so since they sound like some nice strains.
Lovely young girls my friend. better than I seem to do with my younguns lol. Best of green gals to ya!

It really makes me sad to type this, but I thought you guys should know that the Cotton Candy has been pulled. The guy I gifted the seed to got a call informing him that a certain federal entity was going to come to his house, and he panicked. I scolded him a few times for not calling me first, freaking out like that, but he's a rather young lad, and prone to impulse at times. The other plants are doing awesome, a pic update is in order because of the changes I've made, so here we go.

Here's the Purple Paralysis, the nodes are so closely spaced it was hard to get the pipe cleaners in there!

The AK X, which has 1 less node, but is about the same height as the PP, don't know why it stretched more, I've had the cfl right on top of it.

Then the GDP X Purple Cheese, on day 15, some yellowing on this one, but it's doing ok.

Yeah makes it kinda hard, I'm starting to think that plant would've stayed quite bushy, eliminating the need for the training, but I guess we'll see soon. I wanted to start the lst early though, before the stems get too thick, so here we go!
Know the feeling :high-five:

It's not a huge loss, since it was a free seed, and I have plenty of seeds in stock, but I was upset that he panicked that way. I built him a nice little box from an old file cabinet, and some old pc fans, so we can always put another one down. I was nervous about training/defol my first grow, but you get used to it, I fully understand being nervous though, not being a "wimp" at all, lol.

Sorry to hear about the Cotton Candy. Major bummer

Love seeing your training. I just tied mine up a couple days ago. I was so nervous! Felt like I was going to slip and pull the whole thing out of the dirt. I'm such a wimp.

Just a quick pic update to chronicle the explosive growth over the last few days. The AK X is doing very well, almost got burned by the light it's under, so I pulled the leaf since it was blocking the light from the emerging side branches anyway.

Here's the Purple Paralysis, almost keeping pace with the AK X in upward growth.

Then the GDP X Purple Cheese, which is doing much better since I added some soil the other day, it's now working on it's 4th node.

Thought I'd drive thru and see what you got going on. I seen you was worried about purple, a lot of strains just plain have purple stems thru-out the life cycle. I have that Blue Berry that is dark purple stemmed. Unless you see so real signs on the leaf material, I woodn't worry a lot. Marijuana is a weed and it will out grow about anything we can throw at it. You have AK X. Is that the whole name? I just finished up a sweet AKxSkunk from World of Seeds that was a descent ass plant. But I get bored and there are so many strains to try before I start pushing up flowers myself. Interesting you opted to go with a sativa. If your going to finish in that cabinet your going to have to stay on top of the height issues. And looks like you are. LSTing is a lot of fun. And that's a cool cabinet. I use to use cardboard and make a small room in my closet back in Mo. I was living in a trailer park and grew there for 4 years with all the cops coming around all the time chasing all the drunk rednecks. Was pretty stupid of me, but I love my weeds. And I got away with it. I was going to use one of them metal lockers if I stayed any longer. Mo still has life without parole on it's books for cultivation of over 1,000 plants. Even Murders have the chance of parole. Not that that's what they give out as a sentence, but they could.....
Good looking start you got going on Keepem Green

This is day 27 for the older plants, and they have been transplanted into 9 inch pots. I fed those two plants 1/2 strength grow big 2 days ago, and they are loving it! Here's the Purple Paralysis, which is quite the little bush, despite being mainly Sativa, though I.m sure we'll see some stretch down the road.

Then the AK47 X UK Cheese X Skunk #1, which is a vigorous little plant so far, throwing some good sized fans out there.

The GDP X Purple Cheese is not faring as well, though still chugging along, it needs nutes the next watering.

I plan to transplant them all into their final containers within the next 2 weeks, I wish they were ready to flip now, since I'm kinda working against a deadline.

Actually Canna, this deadline is a positive one, because we are moving to a better climate, politically that is. The state shall remain nameless until we move, at which time I will update my location, we certainly can't wait!
Don't ya just hate deadlines?
New growth looks great, I'm sure you will get the purple cheese straightened out.
Have fun:thumb:

Awesome !! What a sigh of relief that will be for you.
Very happy for you and good luck on the move!:cheertwo:
