Dank's Three Strain Grow LST CFLs In Soil

Nope no water Viceroy, just a little tabletop 3 piece with glass nail, but I'll upgrade to a titanium one soon. It's a little harsher than the attachment we got for the bong, but it works well, I'm high as hell off it right now!
 
My first dab was death star through a 24 perk. Coughed forever.......then.......
Sweated my as$ off so ripped was thinking how I felt almost drunk like was left so uncoordinated and spacy.

Ive got no luck with glass nails.
 
Kief I'm with you as I use the Attitude a lot. I like the T shirts you get with their stealth posting option, plus if you can order your seeds when they have one of their big promo's your normally golden. Most of the ones in my 9 strain grow are freebies from them lol.
 
I was amazed how fast I got mines from herbies. Where there is a will, there is a way!

Yep I get the mugs as my grandmother collected mugs lol just felt right. First few orders I got shirts and like the prints but I keep mixed company and not all are open minded so......yep mugs! I know what your saying on the promos also I was looking at an order that was during a big promo and was like that must be wrong they're giving me almost as many as I bought. Two breeders I ordered from had full pack promos wow was a bit before I needed to order again.
 
Better late than never... did I miss the party? ..I am glad I subb'd in on this one, I have been back reading the comments and I have to check out this Bud Washing thingy...also, if your most likely to have PM issues. A UV light works the best, they have these little small units that you hand hold over the plant and let the UV do it's thing and done...

The ladies are looking good my friend. If you use CFL's on the sides and a HPS light for flower...the Nugs will tighten up and grow hard for you. just putting my two cents in...lol :goodjob:
 
I ran a cfl for dusk to dawn light ( big ) as supplementary between the two 600's in an old grow as experiment per someone's thinking and as he said it did seem to spike my oil production at last 2-3 weeks, but it changed the taste profile too much for me. The bulb is of a blue spectrum I believe anyone else try something like this? I do use 2700's @ 55w to supplement lighting if needed and temp allow it and it does help tighten up the sides and lower nuggs for sure just watch spectrum if flavor is of major importance.
 
Good to have you along mangosnapper, I would love to run hps, but my very small space restricts me, can't effectively cool it. When I move soon, I'll purchase/build a tent, then I'll get the hps. I haven't been on here much, but I took some pics yesterday, after something terrible happened. I was transplanting the two larger plants, and I broke the top off of the Purple Paralysis! I broke like 4 nodes off, and have no idea how/when it happened, so I took the top I broke, and am attempting to clone it. I stripped some lower growth from it, then brushed some clonex on it, and then I put it in rockwool, in a 6 inch pot with soil.

That sucks about the accident, but at least your making lemonade from the lemons. What size space do you have to work with again? I just hung up a modded HPS hood tonight and will likely fire it up tomorrow and see if my small space with 2 pc fans can manage the heat. My space is 15" x 30" with 5' height total, but from plant top to ceiling is only about 3', maybe a little more. I have a digital 400w bulb and ballast that I will start off @ 50% for a few days, then 75% for a few days, then 100% for the rest if I can manage the heat. Right now it will be open air draw with no reflector panels, but I can add them as I locate materials. Also plan to mount a PC fan to the top of my home made reflector hood and duct from there out, but that is also a future mod. I will update my journal soon and you can probably get some usable data to see if you'd feel more comfortable attempting in yours.
 
I run different bulbs all the time I have found no difference in taste. I know UVB helps increase THC which is odorless.
 
Hey Sky, thanks for the input, my main issue is that the RV I'm growing in does not belong to me, so I can't modify it the way I want to. I have plenty of nice tools, including a very handy assortment of power tools, so no problem there. I do however need to figure a way to build a tray, with some coated wire mesh to suspend the plants with, this way I don't have to move the plants when I water, and the runoff can be drained into a small tote. I'm thinking a pvc frame with plastic liner, and then it's a matter of getting some coated wire, or something I can put the plants on.

Something tainted the taste slightly on the run I experimented with supplementary bulbs I suppose it was arrogant of me to assume that nothing else may have went wrong, but the taste was isolated to that grow. Guess I may give it another chance in the future as it did increase potency. I noticed no difference in smell really though.
 
I think I get what you're saying. You want a box perfect fit to your footprint that is lined to catch runoff and screened to elevate pots from water line? The mesh you can probably buy some of that rubber coating used to make boats with screen door floors back into boats again. If the mesh is just to support pots, don't know that the material would need to be of growers quality so to speak. Is the runoff to be used again? Might have to buy powder coated or plasticoated to keep contaminants from the runoff.

Edit, I am going to look into finding a small water bladder (like those plastic 350 gallon tanks used in OF), but small enough to hold 2-3 gallons. Being that these plastics are used for caustic materials, I bet the plastic used is pretty strong and not easily corrosive. I'd like to build a gravity fed res with electronic solenoids to open valves when timer permits. I think this is doable and allows the grower better control over delivery, mobility, cleaning, power draw and as long as all joints are solid and sound, I'd dare to put it above my HID, but external locations can be worked out too to keep a res tank high and shaded. Hope I can find what I seek.
