Thanks ICE!!! I'm pretty excited to get thing rolling too. This light I still need to run the fan and can, it was a bit warmer than I prefer it to be and this pineapple skunk is very fragrant. I'm trying to let these Cookies go 10 weeks, depending how the light bleaches them out, they have a little over a week to go. This plant actually impressed me, surprisingly enough. I am happy I picked it to cross with the GDP.

I am hoping that the PAR value does raise the brix. I have 2 sour diesel #2 going as a guideline I know that strain the best. I know that the tric production is going to be ridiculous.

Sara...Welcome to my journal :high-five: I'll most likely be starting a new one here in the next couple days.

I'm about to start the seeds for the 4th round. Its looking like it'll be Cookies X Grand Daddy Purple (to be named after I try it) batting first, along with a Purple Urkle or 2 if I can remember where I put them.

This round is Indigo Endo x2, AK x2 Sour Diesel x2, Blue Cheese and a GDP x Cookies. They are in 3rd run soil in 2 gl smart pots under 400w of Mh and I am doing GLR in there too. They'll get transplanted into 7gl bags (6 of them) the other 2 will either not make it or go into 5gl pots. I should by all means be able to fit them all, they weren't vegged for 7 weeks like the round that is finishing was.

I'll start a new journal when they get transplanted. They will get vegged in the larger pots for 2 weeks under the LED then get flipped.

I was going to do a purple urkle but I only have a couple left. So they can wait.
 
Let us know on this journal when the new journal starts so we don't have to get subbed all late & everything.
 
A very nice sounding lineup the blue cheese is a really nice strain it can produce some big yield and has a divine smell, I'm wanting to grow some more I miss it, it's really potent and good for night time,if it's anything like mine anyway, :high-five:
 
Well I was considering taking the top of the cookies that is super close to the light but decided that I'm going to let it ride. I want to find out how close is to close and where the sweet spot is what better way than to bleach out some leaves on a finishing plant. So we'll see in a couple days where its at.
 
Hey Curso, glad to see you're still at it. things are plodding along here too... careful of the too close to light, as you can burn calyx as well as leaf under LED.

Hey SB!!!!!! Good to see ya man!!! Thanks for the heads up :) I'm closely monitoring them to yank them as the start to bleach. I'm really just looking for the sweet spot with the light only because its possible right now. The top will come down sometime today as we all know its well to close, I was just trying to get a couple more days of light on it.
 
I did take the Cookie top and trimmed up the little bit of Pineapple Skunk I had hanging. The couple buds I trimmed up ended up being 1.9 oz. Yeah I'll be running this strain again, I still have 3/4 of the plant to harvest. The LED is ROCKING this tent, my plants LOVE this light. It gets me really excited to see what it's going to do to what I have vegging.

I decided to give them all some brix today too. I wanted to see if there was any ill effect under the LED...Nope everything is happy and finishing up. The veg tent got it too. They loved it. Everything is going according to plan. Funny when that shit happens....

It looks like a soil EC issue to me. Flush those salty nutes out, let it go almost dry and water with some of that tea you have brewing, it might not sort out the yellowing but it for sure wont hurt anything.

Already have sir, gave it 15 gallons of distilled water about a week ago. Now it's just drying out getting ready for some tea.
 
Awesome Blazin that should help them some. That is the reason I got into high brix, soil with nutes has the same issues that hydro does (aside from shit breaking). I haven't had an issue since using a kit, wait, yes I have. The only issue I have had with my high brix grow has been what strain do I want to smoke first.

I am really impressed with my LED so far. My buds look just amazing, I am really happy I spent the money and got one. My plants actually look as if they have been under double the amount of light. They're really nice. Like I said I'm impressed. In another week they'll look like Doc's flowers :high-five:

I wish I had your problems, yeah next round I'm definitely going to switch to super soil to forego all these issues, I can't get environment perfect and not alot of dough yet so the kit has to wait :(
